Restaurant Pizzeria La Spirale in La Chaux-de-Fonds

Superb place where I go regularly, very pleasant staff and very reasonable price.

At first we came and we were greeted like animals, a terrifying look from the waitress... We then asked for a carafe of water, we got the answer that he didn't make any... on the other hand we got the right to a carafe of cold tea! We then asked for a carafe of water again and the answer was there… really very disappointed

We went there with my daughter. There were tables outside so we sat there because the weather was nice and my daughter wanted to play at the playground. We waited between 20 and 25 minutes, one of the waitresses looked at us with a more than haughty look, the others pretended not to see us and none came to take our order. So we ended up leaving. I really don't recommend it at all!!

Positive point: warm place, nice decoration, speed of service and a free fried dish for our daughter. Pleasant baby chair. Negative point : Disappointed with the quality and quantity compared to the price. Super rude waitress. We skipped dessert because we didn't feel comfortable. Damage!!!

The boss was really not friendly and had a problem with the bill. More than 70.-paid extra and the boss was unfriendly when he was told to note what had already been paid.

Disappointing experience overall: On a table of 8, less than half were satisfied with their dish. Cold or tasteless, expensive in relation to the quantity served. The salmon tartare was frozen and had a pronounced taste of seaweed... The fries were made with old oil... The beef tartare was good but lacked seasoning, shouldn't we have the customer taste it to adjust it? Given the exorbitant prices we asked for a carafe from the tap… We were served with a capacity of 3dl for a table of 8 with a very chipped carafe… Add to this a certain nonchalance on the service side, with a waitress who rolls her eyes when we tell her that she has the wrong drink... or who passes across the table with a very hot dish almost burning the customer . Very disappointed overall, if the price was correct, the rating would be better but we can't give it better.

Very varied menu, great staff, nice atmosphere

Good place for lunch break. The terrace is large as is the interior. During our visits, we always had space without having to reserve in advance. Fast service. The pizzas are not richly garnished but it is still OK because the lunchtime pizza menu is affordable.

The restaurant La Spirale in La Chaux-de-Fonds is a nice place, if the weather is good I advise you to reserve your place on the terrace. Their menu offers a variety of dishes, from local specialties to international dishes. However, some employees lack professionalism and may appear "unpleasant, or too comfortable". The big disadvantage is that they can only put 6 pizzas in the oven, which prolongs the waiting time for pizza lovers! Apart from that, the restaurant has a lovely, elegant and contemporary decor. Pizza was delicious Tiramisu was not the best but enough to enjoy the taste

Nothing very exceptional and too expensive for the quality that is delivered, 150.- for two adults, a child (4 years old) and all without wine, without coffee and without dessert, there are frankly better. And finally, the welcome was really not the most pleasant.

In terms of cooking, not too bad or good. But the service is not up to par. The boss who smokes in the middle of the service. And especially the tablets which give a kind of machine of the future... Mixed experience... Very limited wine advice. ABE....

For this meal it was tagliatelle with asparagus. Very good choice with good balance on the quantity of asparagus and the taste of the sauce. Served very limey, it's nice. The layout of the restaurant is very pleasant, tables well spaced, good lighting. For service and customer contact there is a little effort to be made... As soon as the sun returns I will come back to the large terrace.

Very good pizzas! Decent service, shame to have received coffee before dessert. The pana cota was more of a strawberry ice cream than a red fruit pana cota! Little unpleasant mockery of two waiters at the end, too bad. I recommend for the very beautiful place and the pizzas

I find it a little expensive and the beef fillet wasn't very nice, I think I received a rib steak, and we were still a little hungry afterwards.

Just the friendly welcome upon arrival, however the rest is not up to par, cold staff, not smiling, the pizza is not cooked, dishes bathed in sauce, we only have the impression that we disturb all the staff, because even the service leaves something to be desired. A crash course in civility would be welcome.

First of all, the setting is magnificent, But the welcome, the service and the cuisine are not up to par. Cold welcome, the service doesn't even look at you and frowns, cold atmosphere. The flavorless beef carpaccio, the dishes bathed in sauce. Maybe I should have tried a pizza, but the atmosphere doesn't make me want to go back.

Good pizzas (both dough and toppings), the service was very good and there were clearly several tables of regulars (ultimate proof that the place is good). In short, recommended before or after bowling!

First of all, the place is pleasant, we sit comfortably on the armchairs. The terrace is great like in the XL era. The staff is friendly, welcoming. I was looking forward to eating a pizza after reading the menu which promises quality products. And at the price of 16.50. And there... disappointment... the dough is good ok but no homemade tomato sauce, canned tomato in my opinion... canned mushrooms... spicy salami not spicy and tasteless... in short very disappointed and bad surprise at the time of the bill... 11 francs per bottle of water... with 4 bottles for the table... 44 francs is excessive... for a first it will be the last... Watch out for fakes opinion.... 4 times exactly the same sentence by 4 different people 🙄🙄

Establishment to avoid the boss is incompetent and rude that I have rarely seen, the dishes are bland and the waiter let's not talk about it I am very disappointed with my visit I strongly advise against it!

Pitiful service, a small, thin waiter with an unpleasant mustache, who thinks he's the boss, even though he barely knows how to provide proper service. I recommend he go make fries at Macdonald's, and again... Despite the slow service of our little incompetent mustachioed man (what an understatement! 2 hours to get a starter, main course and dessert) the boss doesn't move, shouts at his staff for nothing in front of the customers, I've had better. Flat level was passable, I've had worse, I've had much better too.

I would like to express my disappointment. Apart from the decoration and the servers who were ok, I didn't like much about it. We were constantly bothered by flies throughout the meal. I'm not talking about 2-3 flies but about a hundred flies. An invasion! Nobody did anything to fix it, not a single move! Even if this is an uncomfortable and perhaps unusual situation, the simple fact that the manager comes to apologize to customers would be the minimum. I won't go back there again because for me the hygiene there is questionable.

I never comment but I had to talk about it: very disappointed with this restaurant which seemed very promising to me. Unfortunately I ignored the reviews by telling myself that I was going to create my own but I am disappointed. The decor is impeccable, very refined and elegant. As for the dishes, overall it was moderately good. The problem: an invasion of flies flying all around us. Unfortunately, these flies disrupted the smooth running of my meal and made me doubt the hygiene of the restaurant. I was also disappointed to see the lack of reaction from the servers. It was an incredible and scandalous situation. I do not recommend at all !!!

Nice atmosphere, the decor is really neat and pretty. The staff was nice and professional. On the other hand, for the rest we were disappointed. Far too many flies (while we were eating inside), tasteless dish for salmon pasta and really very very basic pizza. The bottle of sparkling water for 11.- ended up convincing me not to give it 3 stars.

Incompetent and very unpleasant staff forcing us to pay as he wants

Despite the crowds at lunchtime, the service is very good and the waiting time to receive our dishes is very reasonable. The decor inside is top and very neat. Well done to the owners and thank you for taking over this place in an industrial zone. If you want to go there, don't hesitate. Great value for money

Fifth time in this place but first in this new restaurant La Spirale. Very friendly staff, very good and plentiful dishes for very reasonable prices. Not much change on the terrace, still very pleasant with the good weather these days. Total overhaul on the other hand in terms of the super neat interior decoration which makes you want to enter! I recommend and wish a long operating life to the new owners 😉👍
