Restaurant Predigerhof in Reinach (BL)

Nice restaurant, friendly staff. Pizza from the buffet could be better (little cheese and salami).

Consumed on March 16th. some of the buvette. We haven't been to the restaurant itself yet. The pizza was A1 and better than some pizzerias. We would come again just for that. The staff was very friendly and personable. The garden restaurant is certainly very nice, especially in the warm season. There are play options for children and the reading corner is really cute. A very pleasant stay.

Super tasty food, nice and helpful service who were able to give us good advice, and beautiful surroundings. A nice place to go even in winter with all the lights outside!

Wonderful restaurant for a hiking stop with very appealing food. Large garden restaurant in summer.

When the weather is nice, there are sometimes long queues outside in the garden. No service in the back garden. Almost no chance in the front garden without a reservation. I've decided to just walk past it in the future and stop at other restaurants. Usually only back in the valley below.

Cozy pub for hikers and families.

We stayed in one of the new fondue igloos and really enjoyed it. Great concept, you have an entire igloo to yourself, the atmosphere is very cozy and the food was delicious. The salad as a starter is also highly recommended! The only negative point is that it was very cold from the floor and our feet almost became blocks of ice - but the owners have announced that they want to improve this in the future.

Today we were at the Predigerhof in the fondue igloo. From the super friendly service to the delicious fondue, the innovative drinks and the aperitif to the totally cozy atmosphere in the wind and rain in our igloo, we simply enjoyed our stay :-) We would love to come back! Thanks! :-)

Hello I am Fernando I am 10 years old and I am doing this on my dad’s phone When I come for a walk a I come here and have a great lunch and it is perfect! 10/10

We had a super fine fondue for 8 in an igloo. The atmosphere in the igloo was homely and nice and warm with the heat lamp (otherwise there are blankets too). The fondue with bread, potatoes and pears was very tasty and the quantity was right. The staff was super accommodating and uncomplicated. We had a great evening! By the way, the mulled wine is also highly recommended :)

We went to the igloo to eat fondue last night. The fondue was excellent and the service was very friendly and accommodating. Wrapped up in warm clothes and snuggled up on the fur-covered chairs with a blanket provided over our legs, it was very comfortable.

It's still a great place and the new team's ideas are certainly enriching. But we have 2 suggestions: please reconsider the very limited offer of just one and the same "plum cake" for guests who come over to your very good café in the afternoon. And another soup of the day for a little hunger, which was in great demand before, would also be great. Still best wishes!

Beef ragout: Food was just too mediocre for 39.-...salad not entirely fresh, salad dressing very tasty. Main course portion too small, meat a bit tough, sauce was missing that certain something, gratin was fine! Cappuccino was very good and the service was great!

The new team is doing great at the Predigerhof! We had our practice lunch in a very relaxed atmosphere, with competent and charming service and the food, you just have to try it for yourself! The team can be proud - and happy to continue like this :)

We went to the Buvette at the Predigerhof restaurant a few times this summer and really enjoyed our time every time! We were impressed by both the farm pizza with spinach and mascarpone and the aperitif pancakes. The staff is very friendly and helpful and the location is cozy and uncomplicated. We think it's great that there is such an excursion option right around the corner and would be happy to recommend the Buvette. What is striking is that the audience is very mixed - from pensioners to middle-aged couples to families: the concept seems to appeal to everyone!

A great restaurant, the service was impeccable and not intrusive. The chef, Mr. Wipf, is an experienced chef with a lot of passion and ambition. The location is also very worth seeing and an all-round successful evening. I would love to come back again.

Very tasty food and great ambience. The outdoor area is particularly beautiful. There are also two outdoor enclosures with goats and pigs on the farm. Also nice for families with children. 👍🏻

Nice place to take a break from everyday life

Rania provided an excellent service, very courteous and helpful at all times. The menu card is not very big but everything on it is excellent. The prices are in the upper range but fair as all ingredients are from local production. Thank you very much for the beautiful evening served by a wonderful person.

Ordered two cappuccinos and the dessert of the day (small lemon tart) with my wife there today. Cappuccino (small cup) costs 6Fr and the dessert of the day 10Fr. Paid 32Fr for the snack and it was certainly the last time I was there. Absolutely exorbitant price and for this reason not recommended! @Restaurant Predigerhof: Thank you very much for your answer and explanation, but hand on heart, 6 francs for a small cup of cappuccino is certainly not in the lower regional average range! In other places it would cost 7-8 francs and I've never experienced that. I wish you much success despite the exorbitant prices.

The atmosphere was very familiar and cozy, the service recommendations were all spot-on, and the food was also very good. We had a great evening!

Dear people, on Sunday at 5:20 p.m. no more pizzas and no bread with the plates! Sorry, but where are the restaurateurs here? Absolutely underground, absolutely a fiasco for an excursion restaurant!

From the aperitif, to the starter, from the main course to the dessert, as well as from the friendly staff to the good looking chefs, it is absolutely fantastic! I heartily recommend the Predigerhof with its wonderful landscape!!!

The opening under the new tenants in the Predigerhof was on Saturday. A well-organized opening party with an insight into great regional cuisine in the restaurant and excellent pizzas in the buvette. The outdoor area is beautiful and offers space for many hikers, families with children, dogs and business people. I wish the young team much success

I was there at the new opening, the new tenants are super friendly, the atmosphere is very relaxing and family friendly. The food was super delicious, I can only recommend it! Beautiful garden seating area. We will definitely go there again to eat. 👍

Unfortunately I was totally disappointed... We were at the Predigerhof for a birthday, but hospitable is something different. The staff was totally overwhelmed. Imagine if the waiter simply said that there were too many of us (even though we had reserved in advance) and that we should all take the same menu. We didn't receive a menu. Of course the most expensive thing was tricked on us... 4 people ordered a salad as the main course, but the waiter ordered a starter salad in the kitchen for everyone. He didn't take any notes and then mistakenly brought 4 too many starter salads. So the 4 people who had salad with the main course also received a starter salad. Even though we pointed it out to him, he didn't admit the mistake. He even got cheeky... The same thing with the main menu, 1 menu too many, he then put it in the middle on the table... In the end we had to pay for the starter salads plus the main course! No accommodation, no insight. Really cheeky and sad... We were charged around 80 for water, cheeky! We are disappointed and would never come back... With a birthday party and several people, conversations can get a little louder. The polite waiter almost forbade you to shut up, he constantly warned us that we should be quiet... All in all totally disappointing!

Our visit today was very spontaneous. In fact there was still enough space (probably because the weather wasn't ideal today) and we had a very pleasant table. The lady who welcomed us deserved the “BEST EMPLOYEE” label!! She served us very politely and professionally, made the perfect white wine and made recommendations for the menu. This is exactly how we feel! Very, very pleasant... unfortunately we couldn't thank her personally because there was a shift change in between. It was definitely a sensational visit! Unfortunately the team is moving to Reinach in April... but we will visit you there too! Thanks!

Nice and friendly staff and landlady

The two of us went there for lunch yesterday. Everything great! Unfortunately, the tenants will soon leave this beautifully situated place. From around June 2023 they will be in Ochseneck Reinach, Hauptstrasse 41

We were able to celebrate a birthday party today. It was unique. The food was extremely good and the service was top. :)

In addition to the very beautiful location, the inn excels with very charming, relaxed and professional service despite the tables being full. The menu is manageable and at the same time convincing in terms of quality and regional origin, as far as you as a guest can judge. The dishes are prepared with love and delight with their noticeable freshness. The restaurant offers an enjoyable and culinary evening.

Locally sourced products and simple, hearty and delicious menus. The location is perfect, you can take a walk to and from the restaurant through the Bruederholz area. Unfortunately they will move next year to another village. Get there if you can still and enjoy the farm feeling that comes with it.

Mega fine, lovingly prepared and carefully selected dishes, especially from the region. In addition, very nice and funny service staff and an atmospheric ambience, especially at sunset. You should visit here more often!

Beautifully located. Food very good. Prices rather expensive. Always very crowded on Sundays, it's best to do take away.

I spent a very pleasant summer evening with a friend, in a beautiful setting on a warm evening. The dishes (cold cucumber bowl, cherry tomato salad with warm goat cheese and apple rings with vanilla ice cream) - very tasty, beautifully presented, unusual on the one hand and yet not "out there". Gladly as inspiration for cooking and variation. And big praise to the waiters who served us calmly, charmingly and courteously throughout the evening. Gladly again.

The selection isn't that big, but the quality is great! We like coming here. The staff is very friendly.

By chance we ended up at the Predigerhof restaurant on our Sunday bike tour. On Saturday and Sunday, when the weather is nice, the Buvette on the side of the Predigerhof is open, small but nice in the middle of nature. The buvette has a good selection of snacks, drinks and ice cream... the tables under the trees invite you to linger and offer a pleasant way to cool off even when the temperatures are high. Also ideal with children, in the back of the garden there is a beautiful children's playground, a small wooden bowling alley and the chickens that supply the organic store with eggs are also not missing. A nice, quiet place to relax, not far from the city. Priced within the normal range (corresponding to the city of Basel).

Friendly service, polite staff, good food and good beer (Our Beer). Also nice after a walk: the buvette serves small meals and drinks until 6 p.m.

It used to be a home-style kitchen. Today organic and regional, it no longer tastes good. Terrible organic drinks, instead of cola.

Unmotivated and slow service. The outside area is unkempt (terrace and at the kiosk behind the house) and it smells bad. We then only ordered drinks, we had lost the desire to eat.
