Pommes pampig, Service zwar freundlich, aber eine Bestellung sehr spät und eine Bestellung gar nie gebracht. Nie wieder!

Samstag Mittag, eine Terrasse an der Sonne mit einem leckeren Tagesteller, was möchte man mehr nach einer so langen 'Covid' Pause. Ich gratuliere Ihnen für Ihren entousiasmus und das nette Personal! Es war uns eine Freude bei Ihnen zu Essen und Trinken, der Luzerner Weisswein war sehr sehr gut! Ich kann den Rebstock nur empfehlen! Weiter so, Sie sind top!

Sehr netter Empfang und nette Bedienung. Das Essen ist sehr regional, würde fast sagen gutbürgerlich. Weiss gedeckt, sieht man auch nicht mehr so oft.

Arrivés dans la région de Lucerne, il nous tenait à cœur de manger la spécialité local (au nom imprenoncable) attention écrit en phonétique le "rrrrrugueuli pachtetli" et bien nous n'avons pas été déçu!!! EXCELLENT! accueil très sympa service de qualité. Vraiment une très belle expérience, je recommande. un peu cher mais en même temps qui dit grande ville Suisse...

Teníamos una mesa afuera justo en frente de la iglesia, lo cual era agradable pero no da crédito a la calidad del restaurante, ya que se veía como cualquier otro desde el escenario al aire libre.La comida era excelente, tuve la ternera y los pasteles de champiñón y una ensalada simple como entrante.Aunque no nos quedamos adentro, echamos un vistazo y encontramos un ambiente agradable en un edificio realmente antiguo y bellamente renovado.Volveremos de nuevo.

Ein seltenes Lokal wo wirklich alles stimmt. Von der Speisekarte mit frischen und regionalen Gerichten. Schöne Wein Karte mit lokalen (Luzerner-) Weinen. Nettes und gut geschultes Schweizer Service Personal. Preis-/ Leistung ausgezeichnet.Toller historischer Speisesaal.

Exzellentes Essen und Service. Wir waren hier mit Kindern und alles war sehr freundlich und super schneller Service.

Tres bon accueil et restaurant avec beaucoup de charme. Terrasse très grande avec également une cours intérieure en terrasse. Les plats typiques sont très bons.

Wir hatten das typische Gericht aus Luzern mit Pilzen und Kalbfleisch, Schnitzel und Hühnernuggets vom Kindermenü. Alles schmeckte lecker. Die Desserts waren auch sehr geschmackvoll. Service freundlich, auch wenn wir kein Deutsch sprachen, sie sprachen gut Englisch. Alles in allem sehr froh mit allen!

Accueil et service sympa. Jolie terrasse, cadre simple, propre et agréable. Le restaurant est bien situé. La carte est assez restreinte et offre un choix de plats typiques. Les prix sont corrects et les mets de bonne qualité. Le vin blanc de la région que le serveur nous a gentiment conseillé était excellent mais la facture un peu salée !! Nous y retournerons volontiers lors d'une prochaine escapade à Lucerne.

Ich bin spontan in die Gartenwirtschaft zum Mittagessen gegangen.Habe mir von der Karte einen gemischten Salat (sehr erfrischend und die verschiedenen Salate einzeln angemacht und abgeschmeckt, so müsste das immer sein).Danach die Schweinsbratwurst (von einem Lokalen Metzger) mit Zwiebelsauce und einer knusprigen Rösti.Ehrlich, wenn etwas so einfaches so gut schmeckt, dann hat die Küche alles richtig gemacht. Mein grosses Kompliment.Die Zwiebelsauce , ein Gedicht.Das Personal war sehr Freundlich und aufmerksam. Ich komme sicher wieder bei meinem nächsten Luzern Besuch

Le service est rapide et les serveurs sont très sympa. En plus, c'était très bon, nous avons pris le menu du jour. Ça vaut le détour!

Wir kamen spontan hier vorbei und waren sehr zu frieden. Das Essen war bürgerlich und sehr fein. Küche sowie Servicepersonal war aufmerksam und freundlich. Wenn ich wieder in Luerzn bin, kommen wir bestimmt wieder.

Wir haben kurzfristig angerufen und wurden schon am Telefon freundlich begrüsst, im Restaurant angekommen wurden wir freundlich empfangen. Das Servicepersonal war sehr freundlich und wir mussten nicht lange auf das Essen warten. Das Essen war ausgezeichnet und das Servicepersonal ging sogar auf Wünsche. Wenn ich wieder in Luzern bin komme ich jeder Zeit gerne hier her.

Letzte Woche sehr gut im kleinen Saal gegessen. Ab 22.00 Uhr waren alle Gäste gegangen, ausser wir. Wire bestellten noch einen Schlummertrunk und fühlten uns eigentlich den ganzen Abend wohl. Bis dann ab 22.15 Uhr die Stühle an die Tische geschoben wurden, neu aufgetischt für den nächsten Tag. Das Zusammenräumen wurde immer lauter, die Nachfrage ob wir noch etwas bestellen möchten, ging im Aufräumewahn leider unter. Wir fühlten uns unerwünscht, störend und das gemütliche Ambiente ging den Bach runter! Schade, bis sicher 23.30 Uhr sollte man als Gast eigentlich nicht vertrieben werden.

We came again to Luzern for the Fasnacht and decided to eat in the Rebstock hotel restaurant. The restaurant had a special menu for the Fasnacht and we had 2 different classic main portions which were excellent, but what gave us the best part of the evening was the spontaneous show up of two bands from the festival which gave a wonderful show one cannot get anywhere else. I will try to add pictures later. So the food was superb. Service excellent and always and the atmosphere was mesmerizing

Despite the large crowds and hectic during the carnival season, we were received extremely friendly and led to the table. The service of the young lady was exemplary and very courteous. This is how I imagine a good Swiss restaurant, totally fulfilled. Good food at a fair price.

.... aspetto se fossi il gestore!Ambiente molto piccolo, troppo addobbato anche se è Natale non è il caso di esagerare! Pieno di tutto e di più, poco luminoso. Personale gentile ma ad un occhio attento (c’è chi lo ha magari perché fa un certo tipo di lavoro che riesce a giudicare le persone al volo!) non sfugge una certa ansia da prestazione e un’attenzione diversa a chi consuma parecchio vino. Per MIA fortuna c’è chi è astemio. I prezzi sono alti compatibilmente con l’essere in centro. La quantità però davvero minima. Lo scontrino parla da solo!

Cozy little Swiss restaurant with a waitress (Natalie) who is the spitting image of Mary Steenbergen. Serves traditional Swiss dishes. Delicious steak tartare appetizer and yummy pork sausage. Wife had grits soup and their local version of the meat pie, a pastry filled with mushrooms and veal. Would highly recommend it.

This establishment provided very good Swiss cuisine, had outstanding service, and was dressed for Christmas. We very much enjoyed our meal and would definitely go back. By Swiss standards, it was moderately priced.

Six happy diners enjoyed our meal here and were impressed with the service in particular. If you like liver, try theirs, it is outstanding. The fish of the day was perfectly cooked. The veal in puff pastry was also a wonderful choice.

Dinned here tonight, as part of a large group. Despite having a set menu with limited choices the food was absolutely excellent and of a high quality, good service and atmosphere is this lovely restaurant. Would certainly return as the normal menu looked fantastic.

Excellent service, very authentic Swiss Lucernian cooking and nice surroundings! The menu has many seasonal dishes as well as local delicacies served with Swiss wines and beverages. The Swiss style vegetarian quite often includes cheese, so not really for vegans.

We stumbled in tired from a day exploring the city, the mountain and the lake - and left enchanted and refreshed after an outstanding meal! We were a group of 8 and we enjoyed eating outside. Most of us ordered the "Specialty dish of the city of Lucerne" CHUGELIPASTETLI - puff pastry filled with veal in cream sauce, mushrooms, apples and Cognac marinated grapes with side of vegetables. It was wonderful! Staff were friendly and efficient, serving our every need!

Es ist schwierig bei der großen und guten Auswahl eine Wahl zu treffen- im Winter ist Wild mit Kartoffelstock und Maroni- Gemüse einfach top.Aber auch das Eglifilet ist frisch aus dem Vierwaldstättersee und schmeckt fantastisch mit dem hausgemachten Tartar. Am besten Reservieren vorher, es ist immer gut gebucht.

We had a few of our most memorable and authentic Swiss meals at Rebstock. The escargot, meatloaf, fresh sausage, and homemade soup with rustic bread was absolutely delicious.

The food was great, the staff is very kind! The tables are a bit heavy (granite)...If you want to eat good food at a friendly place I would definitely recommend it but if you want to move tables for fun than not so much.

I know prices are high in Switzerland, but when in Rome- - suck it up and try this place because its good!My chicken cordon blu was outstanding as were the butter sautéed veggies that accompanied it. My wife’s sausage from the local butcher was superb as well.This is a nice restaurant with good service worthy of the expensive Swiss franks you’ll pay.Average entree goes for $35 plus drinks etc. it might sound high but when you consider a burger at the local McDonalds goes for $15, it’s a no brainer!

Während der Zeit da das Glas leer ist, wartet man immer noch darauf das Essen zu bestellen.Was dann von der Küche kam war ungewohnt. Das Poulet auf Salat wurde lieblos angerichtet. Die Sauce fehlte.Das Team ist unorganisiert.Da lob ich mir die Hofegge Bar. Mit immer freundlicher, aufmerksamer Bedienung. Sie arbeiten konzentriert und organisiert. Mit einem Lächeln auf den Lippen, auch wenn alle Tische besetzt sind.So nicht, Personal des Rest. Rebstock.

Hollee, the Viking rep at our hotel, recommended and reserved a table for us. We started with the escargot appetizer, then came the main dishes-puff pastry stuffed with veal in a cream sauce; and the fish of the day. Our waiter, Vincenzo provided excellent service.

We ate dinner here during the week and the restaurant was busy. We ordered the escargot and two veal entrees and everything was delicious. The portions were so large we weren't able to eat everything. Prices were very reasonable.

We had been walking around for a few hours visiting different sites and next on our agenda was the Hofkirche however before we visited the church, we decided to take a break for a quick drink. As we walked to the church, we were passing by the Rebstock Restaurant which has outdoor sitting. We took a table and our server Erika promptly served us. Although the food listed in the menu sounded delicious, we had already eaten only wanted to order a couple of beers. We asked Erika for a suggestion and she recommended a local beer. She promptly served us our beer and even had a bit of a conversation with her. It was a great place to relax for a few minutes with a beer and take in the view of the Hofkirche which was just up the hill from the restaurant. Next time we are in Lucerne we will stop by to have lunch or dinner as we have heard the food is good. We would recommend the Rebstock Restaurant to everyone and also thanks to Erika for her great service.

We had a group of 8 and stopped for a lunch. The outdoor dining was very nice. Staff was super efficient and friendly and the food was very good. Everyone had a very good meal and we would return.

When the menu here offers a “HUGE” portion of breaded veal, believe it. Not only did my schnitzel fill half of a large platter, it was tender and tasty. Together with vegetables and a large amount of perfectly fried fries, the dinner will satisfy the hungriest of appetites. My fellow diners enjoyed their whitefish, a special of the day, their beef, and a vegetarian offering. Pleasant atmosphere, too.

Stayed in Hotel Rebstock for a night in August 2019. While waiting to check in, was offered a warm cup of coffee from Christine. And she gave me a wide warm smile that can melt one heart. Me and my mom had their buffet breakfast the next day. The restaurant environment is so peaceful and tranquil. Just the best place to be in the morning. The staff service from Simona and Jose was very friendly and genuine. It has been a long while since I encounter warmth and friendly restaurant staff. Kudos to the restaurant team. :)

Detto ciò: assolutamente da evitare, a causa della imbarazzante livello basso della qualità e quantità del cibo offerto, soprattutto se paragonato al prezzo. Rapporto qualità/prezzo molto ma molto basso.Porzioni assolutamente ridicole, materie prime non all'altezza (ci hanno servito un purè di patate istantaneo, un piatto di petto di pollo che quasi non conteneva il pollo, etc..)Ho mangiato lì con la mia famiglia (5 persone in tutto) pagando più di 150€ per 1 solo piatto a testa, per di più di carne e 2 birre.Nessuna assistenza per intolleranti al glutine.Sconsigliatissimo.

This restaurant is highly recommend by the locals for their meat dishes.We ordered the Zürich-style veal and the the grilled baby rib (seasonal special). Excellent taste and generous portions. Definitely a place for meat lovers. We devoured the food too fast - no picture though :)

After a long day spent in Luzern we had the perfect conclusion of the day having dinner here. We shared a dish of Schnecken (escargot) and after we ordered a Geschnetzeltes Kalbfleisch nach „Zürcher Art“ and a Schweinsbratwurst vom lokalen Metzger. We truly recommend these local!

Un diner à 4 pour 190€, c'est cher, mais les plats étaient de qualité, les boissons également, le tout dans une salle au boiserie chaleureuse et un service parfait.Nous sommes partis heureux de cette soirée réussie.

Das Hotel liegt praktisch 10 min. zu Fuss vom Bhf. und ganz nahe am See. Das Personal ist ausnehmend freundlich und wirkt gut ausgebildet. Das Zimmer war sehr sauber, aber eher altbacken eingerichtet. Weil es an den Liftschacht grenzte, hörte man die Liftbewegungen recht gut. Auch sonst ist das Haus ringhörig und liegt zudem an einer vielbefahrenen Strasse.

Viking never informed me we were stopping here on the way to our Viking River Cruise boat. I had no idea it was a set lunch menu. At the last minute, the cruise activities director asked the staff to make me some chicken instead of the preset meal. The staff was more than happy to do so and my chicken was excellent! The preset meal consisted of bread ( pretty good), salad ( very good), Chugelipasteli” which is puff pastry stuffed with veal in a cream sauce, mushrooms, apple, marinated grapes in Cognac served with seasonal vegetables. ( I do not eat veal or mushrooms and peas looked frozen). Swiss Carmel cream for dessert was only ok at best. We ate outside and had lots of covered seating but, several of the last seated in our group were in the sun. Beautiful outdoor setting. Some people are into eating authentic regional cuisine but, by principal, I do not eat veal.

Wir wollten zum Mittagessen in ein Michelin-Stern-Restaurant, aber als mein Mann den Concierge bat, die Reservierung vorzunehmen, wurde ihm gesagt, dass es in der Nähe ein besseres Restaurant gibt. Wir wissen nicht, ob es wirklich besser ist, aber es war sehr gut. Der erste Speisesaal, den wir betraten, sah sehr modern und ungezwungen aus. Wir wurden in einen Raum mit Holzbalken, Kunstwerken an den Wänden und einer eleganten Atmosphäre der alten Welt geführt. Die ausgezeichnete Käsetorte, die ich mit einer Beilage Salat gekommen war. Bei schönem Wetter gibt es Sitzgelegenheiten im Freien.

Zur alljährlichen Amtsübergabe trafen wir uns zum Aperitif vor dem Restaurant Rebstock. Es war alles perfekt organisiert. Kleine Häppchen wurden offeriert zu einem Glas Weisswein oder Prosecco. Anschliessend konnten wir dann im 1. Stock, im Hofegge, unseren Anlass gebührend weiterfeiern. Das Essen war vorzüglich, der Wein wunderbar und der Service einfach super!! 42 Damen unseres Clubs haben diesen Abend stimmungsvoll ausklingen lassen. This restaurant was recommended to us by our hotel. Several items were very good. The dark bread was excellent along with their made butter. A dinner salad was made of fresh crispy greens. I ordered a house specialty of a “puff pastry” with a creamy veal filling. The filling had a unique sweet flavor, but the pastry was terrible. It was hard as a rock, tasteless and could hardly be cut with a knife. It was as if the kitchen had no idea of how to create a “puff pastry” or any semblance thereof. Poor reflection on a $38 SF entree.They embarrassingly skimped on a glass of wine for $8.50 SF. I guess they wanted me to buy a bottle of wine and not a glass.The dinner menu is limited.

I only ate here once during my stay. The pasta dish was nothing exciting but wasn't too bad either. Reisling soup was absolutely delicious. Some staff members were better than others. Service at outside tables is dreadfully slow so maybe it's best to sit indoors.

We consider ourselves lucky to have found this beautiful and delicious restaurant. We sat in the courtyard. The veal in mushroom sauce with roesti and cheese pie were delicious. The soup de poisson was disappointing.

We were looking for a restaurant away from the main tourist area. This restaurant is near the Cathedral and was packed with locals...a good sign.We were welcomed, the waiting staff spoke excellent English and we had a very pleasant, plus filling lunch.We really recommend you come here.

We were brought here by our business hosts. They spoke German and recommended we have the local specialty Chügelipastetli which was most excellent. Service was very good, nice atmosphere. Definitely a good place to visit for a nice meal.

To be honest, there were six of us at dinner. I ordered the pork cordon blu and am not even sure what the other 5 ordered. I thought mine was delicious and didn’t want to share. I loved the atmosphere and we had excellent service. I thought the prices were reasonable for Lucern.

We had a group meal at Rebstock during a brief visit to the city, and really enjoyed the food. We had a fixed menu of green salad, Chugelipastetli (puff pastry stuffed with veal in a cream sauce), vegetables, and Swiss caramel cream for dessert. On a cold, drizzly day the delicious food warmed us up, and the friendly service made for a very nice visit to this nicely decorated restaurant.

Ich war dort drei mal Essen, immer freundlich und nett bedient worden und auch am Essen gabs nichts auszusetzen. Als Bonus, sofern man draußen sitzt, gibts noch die schöne Kirche im Hintergrund. Definitiv einen Besuch wert!

Just steps from Lake Lucerne is the Rebstock Restaurant. Recommended by our tour guide it did not disappoint. I ordered escargot and flambee tarte - incredible! It was all i could do to not eat there every meal.

The Restuarant has a nice location in Lucerne very near to the lake, after hotel Schweizerhof to hotel National direction.. it has a good collection of European food. It was testy. The staff were more than friendly. That why I am writing to recommend it to the visitor of Lucerne.

Restaurant avec un certain cachet « suisse », mais sans plus. Accueil très avenant et carte assez variée. Celle des vins étant plus restreinte ... Assiettes enfant disponibles et vraiment pas chères, comparées à celles des adultes ... Plats assez simples et soient disant traditionnels, euh ouais ... si on le dit vite... Les assiettes présentées étaient petites pour qu’un plat ! 40.— le Saltimbocca de veau (deux minis tranches) avec les asperges (eux non plus pas en nombres), mais les saveurs y étaient. Une facture de 180.— pour 2 assiettes adultes et 2 assiettes enfants avec une bouteille de vin à 54.— ! Merci la Suisse pour ta cherté ...

We were directed here by our Viking guide. It was great advice. We had two of their specials and both were great. The service and atmosphere were also great.

Im Rebstock wurde ich noch nie enttäuscht. Das Essen ist immer sehr gut und die Angestellten ist sehr bemüht, auch über den Mittag einen schnellen und professionellen Service zu bieten.

This was a place that I had scouted in advance of our trip, I liked that it seemed to be fairly casual. My husband and I don't mind spending money on great food, but we still prefer more casual places. This did fit the bill, although if you have a fear of clown decor, you might pass.We sat at a long table that had a party seated at the other end. Our waiter was perfectly fine, we did not linger as we had a long day. I thoroughly enjoyed my bratwurst and rosti, it was great and I could not finish all of my sausage.Husband's meatloaf was nothing special at all. The texture was very fine, so it had more of a pate type texture. It was a small portion too, he should ahve spend a couple more franc to get two slices. Anyway, come to America, and I will smoke my homemade meatloaf for you and you will know how good a great meatloaf can be!

Durant mon séjour à Lucerne, j'y suis passé manger le menu de midi et un plat à la carte un soir. L'accueille est très courtois. Le menu de midi très bon, vite servi et pour un prix tout à fait raisonnable. Le repas du soir à la carte qui m'a été servi étais vraiment très bon. Les vins préposés au verre sont de qualité et au prix pratiqués dans les établissements similaires. Je recommande ce restaurant en tous points. Demandez à manger en salle, c'est plus feutré qu'au café.

Restaurante bem aconchegante Comemos um Cordon Bleu que estava otimo. Preço ok para os padrões da região. Atendimento otimo também.

Ich hatte schon vor meiner Anreise recherchiert und dieses Hotelrestaurant erschien ziemlich weit oben in der Liste - insbesondere bei Schweizer Küche. Und m. E. ist diese Platzierung sehr verdient, könnte auch weiter oben sein, wobei ich den Wettbewerb nicht wirklich kenne. Reservierung bequem online einige Tage zuvor innerhalb weniger Stunden. Ich wurde am Abend direkt freundlich begrüßt und zum Platz gebracht, insgesamt war der Service den ganzen Abend sehr schnell, freundlich und dennoch unaufdringlich. Das Ambiente ist urig und gemütlich, aufgeteilt auf mehrere Räume, dadurch herrschte ein angenehmes Geräuschniveau - allerdings war ich auch sehr früh am Abend da und aufgrund des schnellen Service schnell wieder weg :) Ich hatte eine Tagessuppe (Mango-Zitronengras, super Kombination aus Frucht und Schärfe) und als Hauptgang ein Chügelipastetli - sehr aromatisch, lecker, allerdings eine relativ große Portion (insbesondere mit Suppe und Brot vorweg). Dazu einen frischen, knackigen Riesling x Silvaner aus der Region Luzern. Passte super zusammen. Leider war ich dann zu voll, um noch ein Dessert probieren zu können... Preislich okay. Es war ein super Abend, es hat alles gepasst. Vielen Dank dafür :)

Fomos na torta de queijo, pois foi muito bem recomendada pela nossa guia. Começamos o passeio e exatamente no horário do almoço paramos neste restaurante charmoso. O preço não foi absurdo como a maioria dos bons lugares de Lucerna.

Restaurante com ambiente simples porem muito gostoso com ótimo atendimento, comi comida típica do país que seria a linguiça (salchicha) com creme de cabelo e batata muito saborosa é pra acompanhar um chopp bem gelado que serve !

This restaurant was recommended by our Viking rep at our hotel for our trip extension. The menu has all types of representative Swiss cuisine, local comfort food. It was a special treat that we dined there in late October because this time of year they offer venison dishes. I had a wonderful dish of tender venison with a rich gin sauce, something rather unique for us Americans. Our waited helped me choose a fine local beer.

We stayed at the Rebstock hotel for 2 nights and decided to try out the restaurant on our second night.Food was really good and the highlight would have been the service we received. We had Noa looking after our table and she was very patient in explaining the menu to us and made some really good recommendations. Family had a great dinner.Love the decor.

Einmal in meinem Leben habe ich eine "Luzärner Chügelipastete" zubereitet und stand dafür einen ganzen Tag in der Küche. Dieses merkwürdige Gericht, welches neben Kalbfleischwürfeln und Brätkügelchen auch Äpfel und Rosinen enthält, schmeckt hervorragend, obwohl die Mischung der Zutaten schon ein wenig abenteuerlich scheint. Ich war also hoch erfreut, diese Pastete auf der Speisekarte zu finden und habe sie natürlich bestellt. Ein Gedicht von einem Gericht!, und in einer Portionsgröße, die auch von einem Holzfäller kaum zu bewältigen wäre. Auch alle anderen Gerichte waren in bester Qualität, der 2014er Fechy dazu eine ideale Ergänzung. Die Rechnung war schon ein wenig hoch für deutsche Portemonnaies, aber so ist das halt in der Schweiz - es war schon immer etwas teurer, einen besonderen Geschmack zu haben.

Lucerne was full of tourists when we went. Restaurant Rebstock was recommended by our hotel - traditional Swiss food. Full of local Swiss. Would definitely go back!

Wie jedes Jahr hatten wir auch dieses Jahr unser Familien-Weihnachtsessen im Stübli des Restaurant Rebstock. Mit Erstaunen wurde uns versichert, dass es zu Weihnachten nur das Festtagsmenü (und keine Speisekarte) zur Auswahl gibt (das war vorher nie so und 2 Meter nebenan im Hauptteil des Restaurants konnten problemlos Gerichte aus der Speisekarte bestellt werden, was ja nicht unbedingt günstiger ist als das Weihnachtsmenü). Beim Hauptgang gab es zwei Fleisch-Gerichte zur Auswahl: Kalbsrücken mit Kartoffelgratin und Schweinsfilet mit Butterspätzli. Auf unsere Frage ob es auch möglich ist Kalbsrücken mit Butterspätzli zu bestellen bekamen wir zuerst ein überzeugendes NEIN zu hören. Erst bei expliziter Intervention, war der Chef de Service überhaupt bereit einen diesbezüglichen Input in die Küche zu geben, was dann schlussendlich auch geklappt hat. Ebenfalls waren die Wartezeiten zwischen den Gängen ziemlich lange. Das Essen selbst war sehr gut und bei grossen Hunger durfte auch nochmals nachbestellt werden. Der junge Kellner aus dem Bündnerland konnte die diversen Faux-Pas seines Chefs optimal ausgleichen.

We went there on a Sunday night just before Christmas, it was another good experience!! Friendly and professional service, delicious food and wine, wonderful atmosphere and hospitality, all of these have driven us to come back again next time !!

Gemütliches, zur Weihnachtszeit wunderschön geschmücktes Restaurant, das auch bei den Einheimischen einen sehr guten Ruf genießt. Qualität auf höchstem Niveau, toller Wein, toller, aufmerksamer Service! Wir kommen beim nächsten Besuch in Luzern auf jeden Fall wieder hier her.

We had just arrived in Lucerne and had deposited our luggage at the Schweizerhof, then gone on a guided tour of a small part of this lovely town. We had a while to wait until our hotel room would be available, so we decided to have a light lunch. We happened upon the Rebstock. A chilly wind had sprung up so we went inside. It's a charming old building. We were served quite quickly. My husband chose a glass of wine and I had orange juice, which was rather expensive. I chose the foie gras and my husband had the steak tartare. He said that it was undoubtedly the freshest, most appetising steak tartare that he had ever eaten. My foie gras was also delicious. We both had plenty of fresh, tasty bread. We had decided to have our main meal in the evening after a snooze at the Schweizerhof, so we did not have a pudding. We were not harrassed by the staff; we sat and enjoyed our drinks and later had coffee. It was so relaxing, just making plans for later on. Coffee is so good in Switzerland; it seems it's one of their biggest exports because of the invention of the coffee pods.

Lors de la visite de Lucerne, en redescendant du Lion de Lucerne nous avons trouvé ce lieu, une maison typique très jolie, où l’accueil est chaleureux. Une attention est porté aux clients, et les plats son savoureux. Nous avons prie le burger et il était très très bons. Les frites étaient bonnes également. C’est un endroit que je conseille volontiers pour une petite pause repas et détente.

Come da titolo, Classico ristorante che propone cucina tipica del posto situato in posizione strategica rispetto ai flussi turistici. Nella mia esperienza ho provato una zuppa di pesce di lago (più verdure e brodo che pesce, invero) e per dessert un classico flan con panna montata. Con una birra da 33 cl ed un espresso conto sui 37-38 Chf.

Das Mittagsmenü mit Vorspeise für 22 Franken war sehr lecker. Die Bedienung ist sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend.

とにかくスタッフが愛想がよく優しかったです。食事はサラダ子牛のレバーチーズとナッツを絡めたショートパスタエスカルゴのチーズ焼き量は私たちが注文したものはどれも日本人でも食べきれるサイズのものばかりでした。むしろ値段の割に少ないなという印象でした（例えばサラダは9ユーロしたのに小皿でした）。ただ味は本当に美味しかったです。飲み物はワインをボトルで頼みました。一番格安なもので41ユーロでした。他の国で同じワインを17ユーロで飲んだことがあるので、スイスの物価は恐ろしいと改めて思いました。席は遅めの時間に行ったのにも関わらずいっぱいで、少しだけ待って座りました。食べずに飲むだけのお客さんも何組かいました。雰囲気もスタッフも味もとてもいいので、値段はスイスの物価のせいだと腹をくくって入ることをおすすめします。

The Cordon Bleu is verry terrible. Was there twice and at both dinners we clouldn‘t eat it. Otherwise we were badly serviced but the rest was ok. Wasn‘t a good experience from Switzerland.

Als Luzernerin ist es bitter festzustellen, wie es um die Qualität im Rebstock heutzutage bestellt ist: schlecht. Die Kalbsleberli schwammen in einer Fettsosse, sie waren durchgebraten, zäh und kaum gewürzt. Die Spätzlipfanne meines Partners: Gemüse verkocht und fettig. Preis-Leistung ist katastrophal, es ist der vorläufig letzte Besuch in diesem Restaurant, auch wenn ich damit wunderbare Erinnerungen verbinde.

Während einer Weiterbildung in Luzern durften wir regelmässig im Rebstock Kaffee und Gipfeli geniessen. Zudem genossen wir jeweils feine Mittagessen.Heute, an unserem letzten Schultag, überraschte uns Herr Simic, der Direktor, mit einem 10-er Tisch, weiß gedeckt und mit Kerzen dekoriert. Eine tolle Überraschung!Das Mittagessen war top und der Service sehr speditiv.Das Desser und den Kaffee war offeriert, wow!Wir empfehlen dieses Restaurant herzlich weiter-es lohnt sich sehr! Four of us all enjoyed our meals here . Service was very good . The meatloaf was the best I’ve ever had , made even better by the incredible gravy it is served with . Would seem to be somewhat high priced but then again it is Lucerne so one must take that into account.

Im Rebstock stimmt Ambiente, Freundlichkeit und Essen. Wir wurden zum wiederholten Male im Rebstock freundlich und kompetent bedient. Der Blattsalat ist seinen Preis wert, es gibt ein grosses Teller mit superfeiner Salatsauce. Doch das Brot, welches dazu gereicht wird schmeckt sehr gut. Die Luzerner Chügelipastete mit Kalbfleisch und der sehr guten Sauce - Weinbeeren in Cognac eingelegt - ist einfach der Hammer. Wir können das Restaurant ohne Vorbehalte empfehlen.

We went in the first time because of reviews and it was very close to our hotel. The second time we went back because the food was so good. It was clearly a place for locals and visitors and both time the food was exceptional.Try the French toast but as a dessert.Our local guide confirmed that it was a favorite of locals.We had the veal liver and the Luzerne speciality, the sausage and the veal snitzel.

Heerlijk op het terras gegeten. Vooral de Zwitserse gerechten waren heerlijk klaar gemaakt. Personeel was ook heel vriendelijk .

Friendly staff wanting to please. It is obviously well patronised by the locals and deservedly so. Food is good and well priced. Central location near lakefront.

The Rebstock is fantastic! My wife and I split the sausage and cheese salad, that one person could have as an entree, as a starter. The main course was the house specialty, I can’t spell the name of the dish, was veal and cognac soaked grapes in a cream sauce all stuffed in a puff pastry. Fantastic!!!!

We had a delightful dinner with friendly service here. My husband ordered the meatloaf with mashed potatoes and carrots, and enjoyed every bite. I ordered the french toast with red wine plums (yes, more of a dessert than an entree) and it was divine. It was a perfect summer evening for eating outside, and the whole experience was pleasant and delicious.

Wir waren mit 8 Personen im Rebstock essen. Dabei waren wir alle rundum zufrieden. Das Essen ware super lecker, die Bedienung sehr aufmerksam und das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis stimmte aufjedenfall. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

We went to dinner here after looking online at several options/menus. We liked the options and pricing here. We ordered the steak, fried fish, and a lager beer. Everything was excellent and tasted very fresh! The bill was $83 chf and in Switzerland pricing, very fair. Service was pleasant and eating on the cobblestone path was very nice! Highly recommend!

We has a very nice dinner there, highlighted by them taking back a meal my husband ordered that contained something he cannot eat. He should have asked but forgot. They replaced his meal and didn't charge us for the first one.

Das Essen top. Bedienung sehr freundlich! Einzig die Preise waren bei dem einem oder anderen etwas teuer für unseren Geschmack. Ansonsten Top.
