Restaurant Rössli in Rheinfelden

Wasn't there for a long time. It was terrific!

Beautiful food and service I couldn’t be happier!! This was exactly what I was looking for. It took me a while after looking for a few other places, I am glad I made the right choice.

I had dinner with three other couples of friends, we had a very good time, the service was excellent, the owners were very kind and available to customers. Paella is a delicacy for both fish and meat. The octopus and cuttlefish were very soft and delicious. I highly recommend this restaurant.

Nice, small restaurant in a romantic small town (the only Rheinfelden). Good Spanish cuisine.

Reception - reserved with dog - worked well. Food and atmosphere was very good, prices normal. Even though it was full, it wasn't too loud. Service good and attentive. A beautiful evening ..

Fernando and his team enjoy hosting guests. Warmth, advice on specialties, special requests fulfilled (please fish well done). Fresh fish (as long as it is), grilled vegetables with various sauces and tasty house wine. Simply good!! A win for Rheinfelden.

We were invited, the service was great, the food was varied and good. The atmosphere is from the older generation but cozy.

Very pleasant atmosphere. As for the food, good home cooking. The service is decent and very friendly. All in all a great place, there is seating both inside and outside and there is also seating in the basement. The only thing that bothered me personally was that the food was served in chipped plates, but maybe that's the style of the restaurant.

Very, very nice restaurant, great atmosphere and you immediately feel very comfortable. We ate a really great fish platter, I felt like I was at the sea. All the plates and platters that I saw at the neighboring tables also looked great. I'll be back there soon. Thanks for the friendly service. 👍

The mussels...world class!! They can also eat fish or hearty dishes. Great restaurant, nice cozy atmosphere and the service is on point - top, always a pleasure!

A unique restaurant - The best Spanish specialties far and wide We celebrated our son's baptism at Restaurant Rössli, and we couldn't have imagined better food or a better celebration. After a cozy aperitif with homemade sangria, fine olives, jamón and other appetizers outside in the pretty alley of the old town, Mr. Mato and his team enchanted us with a very fine selection of tapas: from prawns in the homemade spicy sauce, to mussels and scallops, Tortilla and piemientos de padron through to fine Spanish croquetas and a classic gazpacho, no wish was left unfulfilled. The main course was a fine paella with seafood and meat and Churasco grilled plates with buttery lamb chops, beef fillet, entrecôte and chicken. 🍖 🥘 The wine selection was also very good and matched the menu. The menu was rounded off with a fine mango sorbet. 🍨 We are very happy that we were able to celebrate the baptism in the Rössli. The atmosphere was great, the service staff and the boss were very friendly and welcoming, and we and our guests were absolutely thrilled. Many thanks again to the whole team - our celebration will be unforgettable!

The three of us ordered 5 tapas, which all cost around 20. At the end we were all full and satisfied. Was delicious.

The restaurant's decor is a bit basic, so we hesitated to eat there. We were even more positively surprised: extremely tasty and freshly prepared food. The chef is flexible and generous, the service is friendly and personable, and the restaurant has a great atmosphere. All in all very recommendable!

The best paella and the best mussels we have ever had the pleasure of eating. Delicious and fresh according to the house style. The greetings from the kitchen and the Portuguese house wine rounded it off completely. Bombastic price-performance ratio. We recommend everyone who goes to Rheinfelden to take a detour to the Rössli (with reservation:)) It's worth it.

Super friendly boss Fernando. Short-term take-away orders were possible. We ordered a paella marinara for 2 people. Very very fine Spanish paella!! Top!! The portions are large and the prices are fair. Only to recommend.

Very good food. But you shouldn't be in a hurry as everything is homemade and therefore takes some time to prepare, even the daily menu, but the wait is definitely worth it.

The chef is absolutely world class, I'm after two months of her stroganoff 😀 Mega e cordial, she's after choche fore cho and have a chat with everyone where they are... Great, I'd love to go again !

Superfine food, very hospitable and completely reasonable in price

Stroganoff absolutely awesome. Totally recommended. Only the extremely excellent sausage salad as a starter was able to top the main course. The cellar with a cozy fireplace was provided free of charge. Service absolutely courteous and super nice. Always worth a visit!!!

Incredibly unfriendly - NEVER MORE!!!! Three people registered for dinner and later reserved the cellar for a meeting for 6 people. I ordered a pumpkin cream soup (which was very good) and a simple sausage and cheese salad. First of all, I am a very good connoisseur of sausage and cheese salads and eat them regularly in a variety of restaurants. Never had one as bad as in this restaurant. Klöpfer was Lyoner and the cheese and onions were not cut into bite-sized pieces but simply thrown on top. Totally loveless. When I told the friendly waitress that it was a shame to eat a Lyoner instead of "Klöpfer", she later showed me the whole "Klöpfer" on the boss's orders. “Thumper” indeed. But the sausage tasted like Lyonnais and was cut so finely and destroyed that it was sad again. Not enough. Suddenly the boss came and told me that this was a Klöpfer from the butcher's and said cheekily "do you only eat Migros Klöpfer?". He made a few more faces and disappeared. Paid and went down to the basement. Suddenly the boss came back and said we would suddenly have to pay CHF 50 for the cellar because of my criticism. My colleague reserved it and was told that we could test it for future seminars. The boss, still very angry about my criticism, said things like: "Don't ever do anything like that again!" "We should think about whether we want to come here again." We no longer understood the world. Something cheeky! We've never experienced it before and were almost thrown out. Just drank up and went out immediately. We were shocked!
