The “terrace” upstairs is very nicely decorated, but the inside of this restaurant also looks very inviting. The food came quickly and was very, very good, a bit small portion for me personally. The host is very friendly and accommodating. Definitely worth dinner.👍

Food would be good, but service is very unfriendly. Unfortunately, there is a system whereby 2.- are charged too much here and there. If the customer notices it, “it’s an oversight.” Unfortunately, it happens too often for there to be no intention behind it. It's a shame - but therefore not recommended.

Not bad food but excessive prices for drinks

We were there for dinner, 11 people. The food was good and the service, except for the boss himself, was nice. When we asked for the bill it became difficult. Since the different menus were only listed as "kitchen" and "dessert" we asked them to tell us which amounts were for what. When we asked a second time, the boss said: "Now you're being tiresome and annoying! Just pay now, leave and don't come back!" We ended up being overcharged for six desserts. It's not about the miscalculated amount (it can happen, as well as being served the wrong food) but more about how you are treated as a guest! We are therefore happy to comply with his request: Never again Restaurant Rössli Wahldorf!

I am a repeat offender, last year I ate à la carte for three people in the garden, the waiter was very anxious to walk the long distances, the vegetarian and us meat eaters enjoyed the food! The plates were full and I was allowed to take a doggy bag of all the leftovers. The garden design is now more advanced, not everything is perfect, but it's ok in this hot summer and the prevailing autumn. We took the aperitif in the restaurant into the garden to enjoy the animals in the garden and the evening sun and then enjoyed the first course of bruschetta in the restaurant - everything with a lot of taste, even the green salad was beautifully prepared and with a good salad dressing . We ordered wine in a 3 dl carafe with the hot stone, off the menu, and the innkeeper gave us a bottle of Basta! Opened at the table where it wasn't served by the glass - everything was fine. Given the 4-course menu deal, you can't complain if the 300g of meat wasn't the most expensive piece - changing the hot stone was also requested! The potatoes were very tasty and I thought the vegetables too. The sauces were completely okay after the company holidays from the jar. We were free to choose the dessert from the entire menu - where can you get something like that because the dessert was specified in the deal. My companion complained about the bells and whistles and the decoration order in the various halls, I didn't care, the main thing was that it was clean - the age of the table top or something like that can be better concealed - but the fine food at this price on the matching table runner and the Nothing wrong with good quality napkins. henusode, I'm planning on going back with my neighbors anyway - game season is approaching.

For my birthday I received a voucher for a 4-course menu for 2 people worth CHF 195.00 (without drinks) and made a reservation by email. Unfortunately there was no response, so I had to register again by phone. When we arrived at the restaurant, there were no staff there other than two regulars, so we wandered around the house looking for employees. Finally someone came who seated us in the Rösslistube and I was able to point out my reservation and hand over the voucher. I ordered 2 Coupli and was told that unfortunately there was no Prosecco in the fridge and whether I would like a white wine as an aperitif. I opted out and ordered a mineral water and asked for a rosé wine, whereupon the wine list was handed to me. Since there were no open wines, I ordered 5dl of an Oeil de Perdrix which I later received in a carafe without being able to determine whether it was from the original bottle or not. The meal that followed was a culinary disaster. The worst thing was that when I asked if I could change the doneness of my T-bone steak, I was told that unfortunately it was already cooked. When it arrived, it had no roasted flavors, was "bien cuit" and sautéed rather than grilled or seared. The vegetables were just pulled out and the best thing was the fries. I will avoid this restaurant in the future. I just feel sorry for the person who spent so much money on an unacceptable service.

The four of us enjoyed the wonderful mixed grill menu and a wonderful ripasso. Naser served us excellently. Everything was wonderful, we were pampered from A to Z, see you again soon.

We made another attempt this evening after we drove to Wahldorf two weeks ago in vain because the company holidays were only well hidden on the website. It was worth it. The pizzas were excellent. The new service employee also went above and beyond and served us in the beautiful garden. Thank you!
