The house specialty is dishes made with meat from highland cattle raised in the area. You should definitely try this out. No comparison to turbo-fattened cattle.

Very flexible. Couldn't order lactose free dishes, lactose free and same for vegie. Super lovely staff.

After I had lunch and wanted to recharge my e-bike battery for the Klausen, I was told that that wasn't possible. This has never happened to me so far and I wasn't given an explanation when I asked. Considering the electricity costs of 10-20Rp that I would have incurred, I don't think this rejection is customer-oriented at all.

We ate very well, everything was freshly prepared and the meat was amazing. The service was very accommodating and very nice. We'll definitely be back!

The Rütihof restaurant, almost at the very end of Glarnerland, is always worth a detour. The specialties from our own highland cattle are always a dream. The cuisine is also excellent otherwise. The menus are prepared and served with a lot of love. You can tell that the host Anita Vogeli puts a lot of passion into pampering her guests. Thank you very much!!

Die Liebhaber von Fleisch schottischer Hochlandrinder haben eine neue Heimat. Im Rütihof wird das exquisite Fleisch aus eigener Aufzucht serviert. Die Garstufe wird perfekt serviert und das butterzarte Rib-Eye Steak landet geschmackvoll auf dem Teller. Hier stimmt Qualität, Preis und Leistung. Ein Ort zum immer wieder gern gehen.

Rösti-Hamburger oder Rinderpfeffer. Hochlandrinder weiden grad nebenan. Eigene Tiere, Verarbeitung zu feinsten Menüs für die Gäste. Ich bin jetzt das dritte mal hier und bin sehr zufrieden. Wir waren jedesmal 7 Personen und allen hat es geschmeckt.

Das Restaurant ist nach einer Wanderung entlang der Linth und ihren historischen industriellen Bauten der Textilindust-rie aus dem 19. Jahrhundert der ideale Rastplatz. Hier werden feinste regionale und saisonale Produkte angeboten. Sehr zu empfehlen ist das Fleisch von Hochlandrinder, die gleich neben an weiden.

Highlight in the rear of Glarnerland, wonderful food (highland beef), friendly service, cozy restaurant, excellent value for money. Wine selection could be a little more varied. Absolutely recommended.

We also had an excellent meal on Mother's Day. 3 different menus and all were perfect, also a feast for the eyes. The wishes of the guests are also taken into account. Thank you Ms. Anita Vogeli

One of the best restaurants in the Glarus hinterland. The cuisine is excellently home-style, honest and tried and tested. Various crisp salads, crispy French fries and of course the delicious steaks (from Scottish highland beef), but also the delicious salmon dishes (direct salmon import from Alaska) are served in this kitchen Prepared with care and product knowledge. In general, a lot of things are made in-house (including cakes and tarts). In summer you can experience the mountains of Glarnerland under the three large umbrellas outside in the garden, even in rainy weather. The hotel-restaurant is a pure, open family business where everyone actively participates. The absolute boss is the landlady, who also organizes the service in a very reliable and friendly manner. You feel comfortable and can let yourself be pampered.
