Very very fine Vietnamese food! Daily from 11am to 9pm as a buffet or take away. Starters, several meat and fish dishes, fried noodles, various rice. Everything your heart desires and all for 17 Fr. As always, we were very satisfied. A very lovely host couple!!!!

First of all, this place was reeking of beer, “old and sour” (don’t know how else to explain it) and especially disgusting cigarettes! This almost knocked me out. I got an item for takeaway. I tried it and certainly couldn’t finish it. Unfortunately it had absolutely zero flavor (despite the fish sauce), no depth and very small portion. They were skimpy on the protein and the vegi part was mediocre. The only thing positive here was the nice greeting.

When the weather was bad we were indoors. The food was super delicious. Thumbs up. We were there as a family with 2 children. Suddenly a few people came into the rest. There were about 7 of them who blatantly started smoking in the restaurant. (!!) TOTALLY ANGRY! We had missed the address... that it was a smoking restaurant. The drinks as self-service from refrigerated display cases with the food at 5.- “borderline”. Maybe we'll come in the summer... when you can get a dining table outside. ...but inside: never, ever! Not family friendly guests at all... or we were just unlucky.

As always, very friendly boss. I like food. Gladly again 😉

The meat, tender and buttery, was an undeniable highlight, as were the crispy spring rolls and other delicacies. A small challenge during our visit was the lack of labeling on the dishes. A mishap led to me confusing curry fish with curry chicken breast. But I understand that the buffet varies regularly and daily labeling can be time consuming. The friendly and open host was always at our side and clarified any uncertainties. Strengths and weaknesses Strengthen: - First class Vietnamese buffet - Meat of the highest quality - An attentive and helpful host Weaknesses: - Lack of labeling of the dishes, which is understandable given the daily menu variation Conclusion: The culinary experience in the Sai Gon restaurant in Rothrist was unforgettable despite small deficiencies. We were particularly impressed by the professionalism and friendliness of the host. We will certainly come back. Suggestions for Improvement: A temporary or digital solution for daily menu labeling could be considered to further refine guests' dining experience.

I enjoyed the food, can tell it was made with care. Well chosen selection of sauces with different meats for the buffet and fair prices. The man on the bar was very nice and made me feel comfortable although I didn’t speak Swiss German. Other guests in the restaurant were social with smiles on their faces. Positive environment overall. I had an appointment and had to finish early sadly, will be back for sure.

We didn't go to the restaurant for a long time because it didn't look very inviting from the outside. A few months ago we tried again and read the recessions here. These were positive. So we took the plunge and were completely positively surprised. A buffet with a large selection, cooked with love, very tasty and very friendly staff. We've been here a few times with friends since then and it's always been very nice and there's always a bit of variety in the food. We went there for dinner with friends on Sunday and were not disappointed. 15 CHF for an “all you can eat” buffet is a real highlight in Switzerland. The selection is great: chicken, lamb, duck, beef, fish, shrimp, rice and pasta. Very fine food. Hospitality is high on the agenda. We were greeted, asked several times if everything was OK and our son was treated to a small plate of sweets. Thank you very much for the lovely stay with you. We will definitely come back as soon as we feel like Asian cuisine again.
