The prices at "Sale e pepe" are exorbitant and bear no relation to the quality and quantity of the food served. A simple dish that you can get elsewhere for half the price is sold here as a gourmet experience without the ingredients or depth of flavor justifying it. Service and ambience may be appealing, but when the food and the bill don't match, it leaves a bitter aftertaste. It's a shame, but I won't recommend this restaurant.
