Restaurant Seewen Beach in Schwyz

Great evening with Camen 👍 The cream slices are amazing and the service was very friendly and helpful. A few weeks have passed and we're on our bikes. In Seewen we thought we'd go for a drink because we ate well at both concerts and were well served. We sit down, it was around 1:30 p.m. the waitress came and handed us the menu. We said we would just like to have a drink. But the waitress said that you can't just drink anything here, so we should get something from the self-service and sit outside on the banquet benches. Things like that simply ruin the recession, unfortunately and it's a shame.

I think it's great, you can go in at 7 p.m., don't pay an entrance fee and can stay there all night

Hearty restaurant with excellent cuisine, views and beautiful lake breezes. Nice personel. We really enjoyed it and felt very comfortable and are already looking forward to the next time to indulge ourselves with culinary delights.

Surprised to find a Badi restaurant that lives up to its prices. Service was lovely, the server was friendly and professional. The menu is different with lots of options - healthy and local. We will definitely be back!

We were invited for a birthday, the service staff were very friendly and created a great atmosphere. The food and drinks were very good. The next morning we had breakfast here and the service staff greeted us warmly. It was very nice to drink good coffee with a beautiful view. We will definitely go there more often.

It's not my thing but it's a matter of taste

When you walk past the kitchen, it already smells of old frying fat, which is actually a warning sign if I had heard it. We all had bloated stomachs and nausea in the evening. The fries are completely over-salted and not really fine, the fish crispies, if you can call them that, wrapped in 2 cm thick dough, baked to death, getting a crispy one dry is an art. For CHF 22.50 served in a small tub without napkins or cutlery... There were 4 of us. We had a Pinsa (which was good) and the Knusperli, which had whole slices of cucumber in the tartar sauce. Clearly homemade, but not every child appreciates that... I could go on and on. The highest of feelings for us will be a portion of fries next time, if the fat doesn't stink... Last year you were way better. Very unfortunate

Actually a nice place. But 45 minutes without service. If you go to the front to order, you get the information "restaurant here, food truck over there....yes restaurant 45 minutes without service and he goes away looking for his colleagues. Sorry, but that's exactly how you don't get customers.

The restaurant operators do a great job: nice events (Mother's Day brunch) and good cuisine, which is clearly in the top league for a seaside resort. Nice location with uncomplicated style. A bit of city flair in rural Seewen. Like it and please keep it up!

Surprisingly diverse and interesting offering for a Badi restaurant.

Such a beautiful place to eat. Refreshingly different menu, beautifully presented with wonderfully friendly staff. Fabulous non-alcoholic cocktails and amazing coffee. Pizzas are awesome too. Deep fried cauliflower is awesome! A really nice atmosphere and nice to see restauranteurs making an effort and actually appreciating and valuing guests They deserve their success!.

Food is delicious. However, service leaves a lot to be desired. In the afternoon there are no fries or hot dogs or anything else. If you're lucky, the kiosk is occupied. Luckily it is the only swimming pool on Lake Lauerz. Otherwise they would definitely have fewer people.

Wonderful restaurant in the lido! I am positively surprised by the place but also by the creative, small menu including top vegetarian dishes.

Two classes of guests. Prices too high for a Badi restaurant

Nicely located. Unfortunately, the dishes in the service area are not to everyone's taste and are relatively expensive. Very long waiting times in the self-service area. Maybe reconsider for families

Lousy restaurant concept. At 8 p.m. the cheaper food truck (self-service) only serves overpriced food from the restaurant. The choice of food in the restaurant is simply not suitable for the Badi. This concept doesn't suit me at all.

The food tasted delicious. However, the service was unacceptable. With reservation you have to languish in the sun. The request before ordering whether you could move to the shady lounge was rejected. The following guests without a reservation were then allowed to eat there! There was a black hair or something like that wrapped around a chip. When asked, they said it wasn't a hair but a chip of wood from the light beige bread basket. But they were taken back and new ones were ordered. However, we didn't receive it. However, they were then listed on the invoice. The invoice is not given to you in paper form for checking, but rather only states the final amount.

Food top. Service very friendly. However, the table responsibilities/contact persons and thus the level of attention (inquiries, reordering, paying) could be better resolved.

Small salad with 2 dim sum and a 3dl water for a proud 25.-. It was an expensive but delicious lunch. Elsewhere you can get a lunch menu for this money.

A cool concept has been developed here, which is worth a visit. All areas such as service and kitchen were carried out with flying colors.

Nice place to spend time with family and friends. Delicious dishes, try the chicken wings! Tip: You don't need to pay (seebad) beach's ticket to enter the restaurant (just ask in the entrance)

Just a year ago, this was one of our favorite summer restaurants. We went back on Saturday full of anticipation. First we waited quite a long time at the entrance because we had reserved. The waiting times in the restaurant were also very long and the service was stressful. The waiter even ran away while we were ordering. Unfortunately, the food was over-seasoned and too salty (Vienna schnitzel totally salty, fries over-seasoned and too salty). We couldn't finish everything. The prices are very high. Unfortunately, the entire place is now only served. Almost all the seats are empty at lunchtime, but you're still not allowed to sit down if you've picked up something from the self-service section. This is still a Badi after all.

Super nice bathroom. Meal in the restaurant 2x salads with crispy fish and chicken thighs and a bottle of home-made iced tea - a proud 63.-. Too expensive! Food was mediocre.

Nice Badi restaurant. However, the staff was very unfriendly, snippy and stressed. Therefore it doesn't fit the Zurich prices at all. You can find better alternatives at Lake Lauerzersee or you can simply take your picnic to the swimming pool

My food was seasoned, fries were too salty and I found the price of 72 chf for 2 people to be exorbitant.

Basically a very nice pool but the food concept is absolutely nonsensical. If one person wants something from the served part of the restaurant and the other person wants something from the unserved part of the restaurant, you are not allowed to sit in the same place. I wasn't even allowed to take the much more expensive food from the served part and eat it on the lawn, which would have been a compromise on my part. Unfortunately, it was totally inflexible and had no sense of common sense, as there were really few people. We finally lost our appetite and didn't order anything.

This is no ordinary beach bar! The cuisine is refined and terribly tasty with fresh, local products prepared with mastery. The atmosphere is relaxed and the service staff are professional and smiling. Great experience in a splendid setting.

We visited the Schwyz Restaurant Hofmatt on December 30th (same operator as Restaurant Seewen Beach): - Very fine fondue, - unaffected, friendly and competent service, - wonderful Christmas-winter atmosphere, designed with great attention to detail - etc. etc. etc. Conclusion: Highly recommended visit!

Celebrated my birthday in Seeween Beach today and the weather was really great. The team is simply great. Uncomplicated, friendly and competent. I soon tried everything on the menu and I have to say it all tasted great. The dishes are prepared with love and look very beautiful. There is also something for children. I wish the Seeween team nice weather until the season comes to an end. It's a shame you're not open in winter too.

First time in Switzerland, and I was thrilled by the discovery of this little paradise on earth along the lake. The restaurant offers an atmosphere that is both intimate and trendy. Furthermore, during the aperitif / dinner time it is possible to enjoy wonderful sunsets while enjoying excellent dishes. In addition to the location, the food is also fantastic. The menu offers a wide choice of dishes, from reinterpretations of classic foods to the most original. I went back two nights in a row: the first night I tried the sushi with crispy salmon, and the freshness and quality of the products left you breathless; the second evening I tried the dim sum, accompanied by different sauces, excellent. Same thing goes for the desserts, fresh and tasty, you feel that they are prepared express. The service was excellent, very quick. The guy who served me also spoke Italian and was very friendly and nice in giving me explanations, even though the tables were all full. In short, I recommend to all those who pass by here to go and drop by. You will not regret it.

Excellent food, great atmosphere

Clear map, but still diverse! Everyone will find something there. From simple to exotic. Mega tasty and fresh. You can tell that someone is thinking about it. Not just a plain schnitzel, there are also delicious decorations on top! Always my pleasure!

Unfortunately, the lawn became swampy after the heavy rain. Unfortunately, the school class from Canton Schwyz was not allowed to eat their sandwich in the empty restaurant, even though hot dogs and ice cream were consumed by the restaurant. We enjoyed our lunch on the dry, cobbled path after being politely directed away. Self-service and bathers are not welcome here in the Badi Restaurant

Visiting the Seewen Beach Restaurant felt like a short vacation by the sea! 🌊 Great ambience and super friendly employees. 😃 We ordered the Cesar Salad Beach Style, the Crispy Salmon Sushi and the Fish Crispy from the day. All dishes were delicious and extremely freshly prepared. In my opinion the price-performance ratio is great! 👍🏻 We are looking forward to our next culinary short vacation at Seewen Beach! 🤗

This place has undergone an absolutely amazing transformation! A separation of self-service and serviced areas as well as a large selection of freshly prepared dishes. There is also a very helpful and friendly staff! We look forward to further visits here, as we always get a holiday feeling at Lake Lauerz. Thank you guys for giving Badi Seewen something new and fresh!

Very friendly and quick service, very nice atmosphere, delicious food that was brought to the table quickly. We would like to come again!

Very good food, something different from the usual Badi menus where you only get the frozen standard dishes. Somehow the wheel has been reinvented here, I have never eaten sushi in any other Badi and with such quality :) The team was also very accommodating and friendly, I felt very welcome.

Very good price/performance ratio. The portions are generous so that even the most hungry ones can be satisfied. The homemade fish crispies are sensational, you can tell that they are not a finished product. The house cream slice is also highly recommended. It's not as sweet as traditional cream slices, but it's a lot more airy! I was very happy with the whole thing: ambience, food, service was great!

Great concept, modern menu with nice details such as our own wine bottling and lots of regional and high-quality products, we couldn't find any convenience products either! Despite being busy, the competent staff were friendly and took the time to answer questions and give tips. The food was fresh including all the sauces for fries etc. Everything came as ordered (cooking level, extras etc) and tasted great. By separating it from the actual swimming pool business with the help of plants and the arrangement, the atmosphere doesn't seem like you're sitting in an outdoor pool, but rather you actually feel like you're in a restaurant. The location with the view over Lake Lauerzer and the Rigi is beautiful. We'll be back soon :-)

They have managed to take the traditional Badi concept to a new level: delicious dishes with a modern twist, a dynamic team and a great location. Definitely recommended & worth a visit :-)!
