Very tasty and exceptional food, super friendly service and very easygoing atmosphere! Oh and beautiful plates! Already have been there twice and I am looking forward to the next time!

To say the food in the S. Room was fantastic would be an understatement. We treated ourselves to the 7-course menu with wine accompaniment and couldn't help but be amazed. Each course was sophisticated and the wines matched perfectly. Tünde and Stefan were very good hosts and we will be happy to come back next time we are in Adelboden.

Our most brilliant gourmet discovery in February 24 🤩 We find the delicacy, aromas and various components to be worthy of 17 Gault & Millau points and not 14 🙄 The Hungarian wine 🍷 is also a discovery & highly recommended. The two hosts are very welcoming. Thank you very much, we will be very, very happy to come back

Fantastic experience!!! My husband and I did the 7-course tasting menu with wine to accompany it and I must say that everything was perfect.. The food is delicious, the dishes look incredible and the service is 5* I really became a fan... The restaurant is small, very cozy and the atmosphere is so good that we don't even notice the time passing by... We were very well looked after, and we want to go back...

We spent a wonderful evening with excellent food and absolutely attentive and competent hospitality. We felt completely comfortable and are already looking forward to the next time.

One of the most consistently delicious tasting menus we've had (and we have had many!). I usually find a tasting menu starts off strong and wavers in the middle. But here, each course was delightful. I particularly appreciated the fact that we could choose how many courses, and which dishes to have. Unfortunately there was a downside to our experience.. as a very intimate restaurant with a handful of tables, there was one waiter between us all. We were there for nearly 4 hours due to the wait in between courses, which was certainly unexpected! The wait meant I became rather full and could only think of going home and being in bed for the second half of dinner. Thankfully the dishes were so good I am left remembering the carefully constructed chocolate dessert! But we could have done with a heads up that we were going to be sat there for so long.

Szimmer Restaurant delivers a fantastic dining experience. The hosts are kind, and the salon ambiance adds to the overall enjoyment. The food is simply amazing; every course stands out, leaving no favorites. I'm eagerly looking forward to my next visit. 10 out of 10.

A gem of haute cuisine in the Bernese Oberland. Every course is a taste experience and a culinary delight. Great hostess, remarkable chef de cuisine. There we go again! Of course, the prices are not made for everyday dining... the culinary experience, the quality, the wine selection of the house, the ambience and the service are right and bring price/performance into a perfect harmony.

Extraordinary restaurant. Fine dining yet still reasonable prices. You can choose to have up to 7 courses - we had 5 and each of them were incredible along with the Hungarian wines, I haven’t been more impressed by any other restaurant in Switzerland so far as by S.Zimmer. The service was also very kind and welcoming putting the cherry on top. We’re definitely coming back!

Everything was perfect, I can only recommend it. We ate a degustation menu. Fantastic flavors, excellent quality in harmony. For me, it is the best restaurant I have tried so far in Switzerland in the last 3 years.

We had a wonderful New Year's Eve menu. There was also a great wine accompaniment. Service and kitchen were TOP 😌 Since we are still in jet lag mode, we asked if we could get the dishes a little quicker. That worked wonderfully and we walked home happy 😊 a perfect end to the old year.

Incredible dining experience! Food is absolute, excellent, taste explosions and innovative and experimental cuisine. The service is extremely competent, explains the ingredients of each dish very well and always knows the right wine to pair with the meal.

When should I go on a trip to Europe? I came here with my wife and the atmosphere was nice and the food was delicious. Next time I come to Switzerland, I want to come again. I ate well haha What's disappointing is my wallet, right? lol

Very cozy little restaurant in the middle of Adelboden. The food is excellent, beautifully prepared and fresh. The chef is a master of his craft. Big compliment to the kitchen. The service was attentive, competent and very accommodating. We will be back definitely.

You have to visit this restaurant when you are in Adelboden! Very attentive, friendly and approachable boss. Small but very fine menu with dishes that are perfectly prepared and extremely tasty. Add a good drop and nothing stands in the way of a culinary delight. Went there for dinner on May 23rd and were absolutely thrilled. Many thanks again to the boss and the top chef in the kitchen 👍. A little note: Be sure to reserve a table in advance! , small but nice.

At the end of a great winter, we wanted to go out for a nice meal with friends, but we were pleasantly surprised: the food was not only fine, no, it was excellent, as was the service. Simply great, keep it up 👍 we are already looking forward to the next time.

Wow! That was a great experience! The food was astonishing, the wine from Hungary was really great and the service super! We really had a great time and we definitely go back again and again!!! Strongly recommended!

On the advice of a friend, we went to the “sEsszimmer”. The restaurant has around 8 tables and an estimated space for 20 guests. You feel comfortable as soon as you enter. Tünde had prepared a nice table for us. I wanted to take a bottle of orange wine but we were advised that not everyone likes the wine and so we should start with a glass, which we found remarkable. The menu is clear and you can choose between 2-6 courses. First we had two amuse bouches, which tasted excellent. We had smoked salmon, pike perch, cheese ravioli, risotto with osso buco and chocolate mousse for dessert. All dishes are prepared by Stefan and you have to say that this is cooking at a high level. Well presented, tasty and very fairly priced for what you get. The wine prices are also very reasonable. Anyway, we had a great evening with exquisite Hungarian dishes, as Tünde comes from there, and dishes that I wouldn't have expected in Adelboden. A visit is a must!

Small family-run restaurant with first-class menu cuisine. Extremely successful combination of regional delicacies with a touch of international flair. Top! (We would have to travel 10 hours for the ravioli with mountain cheese!)

We stumbled upon Restaurant S.Zimmer purely by accident but it turned out to be the absolute culinary highlight during our trip to this part of the Alps. Were not expecting it. The food was amazing and the service warm and engaging. So good in fact that we decided to have lunch there as well 😜 We were staying down the street at the Cambrian, which has its own well known restaurant with a certain Welch chef. Having eaten at both in my humble opinion S.Zimmer wins hands down.

You should celebrate the festivals as they come :-) Simply beautiful! On our wedding day we experienced a special evening in the Szimmer restaurant. Excellent meal with amuse bouche, starter, main course and dessert. All creative dishes, lovingly prepared and just great. At the end we tried a sweet Tokaji, highly recommended. Thank you also for the friendly and very competent service.

The Best of the Best. Five courses Menu that starts with delightfull amuse bouche and ends with a super tasty dessert. My wife ans i have had one of our luxurious evening meal in a lifetime. As a person with a very complicated taste. The chef has delivered an authentic and astonishing dishes. Actually i would say i wasnt expecting that. The service is second to none. We were in Adelboden for three days. On the first evening we happened to notice the S room. We ended up eating in the S room all three evenings. This place is an absolute godsend. The landlady is a wonderful hostess, the food is excellent and the ambience is very tasteful.

Wonderful feel-good atmosphere. Lovingly designed, lovingly prepared and lovingly served. Beauty, creativity, quality and taste cleverly combined. Plus, the Hungarian-Swiss touch makes it even more unique than it already is. Thank you very much.

THE insider tip in Adelboden! Wonderful ambience, fantastic food at a moderate price, very friendly, competent service! Highly Recommended!

I'm a craftsman and, as a fitter, I rely on a lunch menu. During this visit I experienced the following: friendly reception, there were 2 menus written in the window, one with and one without meat. The service did not bring an additional card with alternatives to the table. I also asked for a smaller portion. there isn't! The meat menu was a red chicken curry. First a soup of yellow color and an indefinable white foam. There is no explanation from the service about what exactly is happening. The consistency of the soup is good but no flavors. The chicken curry that came afterwards was indefinably bitter when swallowed, I could barely eat the meat, which thank God wasn't mixed with the remaining Thai rice mush. The bread for the menu was good in quality but by no means fresh as it wasn't crispy. the location is very beautiful! The tables where we were were too close (by no means 1m50cm away from the next guest.) My conclusion is that the lunchtime food is too remote for craftsmen. I'd rather not do it again.

The restaurant was just perfect. From the beginning to the end. The menu is concise, which is a real guarantee of quality! The products used were local and excellent. Furthermore, the service was impeccable, and the waitress was very friendly and knowledgeable. When we return to Adelboden we will definitely return to this brand new restaurant. Thanks again!
