Today we had a very good meal here again. The Cordon Bleu's in the chicken and veal version as well as the carrot and ginger soup (with a huge amount of whipped cream and lots of fine bread) and the Bœuf Stroganoff were great, the Kaiserschmarrn was a poem! Fluffy and crispy at the same time. We'd love to come back!

I called to reserve a table for 4 people at 7pm - but we didn't need to come after 6.30pm!! After asking the gentleman on the phone again, if we hurry up we should make it to 6:45 p.m., the answer was: "No, as I said, you don't have to come after 6:30 p.m. - we want to close earlier on Sunday"!!! - Opening hours on Sunday: 11:00 a.m. - 11:00 p.m ...we wanted to eat something quickly and not stay there for 4 hours. I was there 3 or 4 times and it was always fine, but never again. An impudence!!. We don't support anything like that anymore. We just ate in another restaurant for 250.--, it was great and we were welcome.

THE FOOD WAS VERY GOOD AGAIN. LÄBERLI WITH RÖSCHTI. ALSO HIGHLY RECOMMENDED THE BERNER CORDONBLEU. THE OWNER AND THE STAFF ATTENTIONAL. LOVELY AGAIN. ONLY, THE PLACEMATS SHOULD BE MORE ADAPTED TO THE BEAUTIFUL LOCAL!

Friendly boss who takes personal care of the guests. However, I wasn't thrilled that we had to sit next to a group in an empty hall. Even though I said something against it. It's logical that this is a miserable solution in terms of noise. If the waitress had smiled, that would have been nice. The food was tasty but well seasoned. My companion liked the salad dressing, I liked it moderately. I would come back because of the food, but not because of the placement.

I had the pleasure of visiting Thalegg recently and would like to share my experience. This restaurant offers not just a meal, but a real culinary journey of the senses.

Wonderful September Sunday in the cozy garden. The Styrian beef fillet with pumpkin seed crust and Härdöpfel gratin couldn't be better. Charming and friendly boss who takes care of the guests himself - I'll be back soon. If there is game. Looking forward to seeing what the kitchen does with wild boar.

Rustic, fine, cozy. Nice personel.

The Thalegg restaurant has an unusually large menu that I can only recommend everyone to study carefully. Schnitzel and Cordon Bleus are named after different cities depending on the filling or sauce. You can cool off in the pretty little garden and the service is extremely courteous.

Food was excellent! The meatloaf was sensationally good. After waiting about 30 minutes because our order didn't reach the kitchen!!! we were served quickly and very friendly and were offered a coffee.

I recently ate at Thalegg and was very impressed. I wanted to go back with a colleague and tried to reserve a table by phone. Unfortunately, no one answers the phone, whether the evening before or after 11 a.m. It's a shame I made a reservation somewhere else.

Unfortunately, I can't understand the comments regarding friendliness...Staff (proud boss from Bavaria) was very unfriendly and didn't respond to us at all. We wanted to try something from Austrian cuisine and he kept saying "Read the menu" no recommendations no smile nothing just arrogant answers.....Would never recommend it.

Attention professionals at work! Fine, varied lunch menus, pleasant service staff. Never had a bad meal there. The only restaurant where I always order soup with the menu because it is very good. The only negative point is that the toilet (urinal, washbasin, toilet) needed a gentle renovation.

It's nice that there are still restaurateurs like this. Food excellent, staff friendly and in a good mood. The boss also takes exemplary and loving care of the guests. We are already looking forward to the next visit.

Meatloaf, very good - you'll want to eat it forever

I had been there for lunch. The staff was very accommodating and friendly. There was a small salad and then a beetroot soup as a starter. I don't normally eat beetroot, but the soup was excellent. Then a nice, very juicy cream schnitzel with fries and a mousse for dessert. A really first-class menu for lunch. The evening menu looked very promising and will be tested extensively soon. I can highly recommend the restaurant.

We went on a road trip to eastern Switzerland in a vintage car and were looking for a good restaurant. Searched, found. The service was very friendly and accommodating. The menu is a bit complicated, but no reason not to come back! The food was TOP and the price-performance ratio was absolutely right. We had: -Mixed salad (seasonal vegetables) -Valais Cordonbleu (veal) with spaetzle -Bernese Cordonbleu (veal) with croquettes What struck us as particularly positive: -The Cordonbleus were hot and the cheese inside was perfectly melted -The spaetzle were great (seemed homemade) -Croquettes were not run of the mill (never had them before) Finally, a big compliment to the friendly host. Nice, homely restaurant and: they have really great staff! We'd love to come back! Best regards

We were positively surprised by the fine food, the great ambience and the very friendly service. The menu almost overwhelmed us a little, but we use that as a reason to come by again. The Kaiserschmarren was the best we have ever eaten. And we say that as Austrians!!! We would be very happy to come back.

We had lunch in Thalegg a week ago. 6 people, 2x Chateau Briand, 3x Appenzeller veal cordon bleu, 1x meatloaf. Everything was tip top, very friendly service, nice, courteous host. Certificate control hassle-free. In terms of price, everything is absolutely great, considering that we are here in the canton of Zurich. We'd love to come back soon!

Unfortunately not to our liking. False Cordon Bleus, these were watery like they were from the freezer. As a side dish, three croquettes were not what we had hoped for either. Unfortunately, the boss's reaction to our feedback was anything but friendly! Conclusion: Once and NEVER again!

It was a cozy meal with my boys. The Gordonbleu was very delicious, my son and I are extremely enthusiastic about the beef tartare, absolutely recommended.

The worst restaurant around. I feel sorry for the service staff to be bossed around by a boss like this. Very unkempt appearance from the boss (sweaty, smelly when walking past and wearing dirty work clothes) my Cordonbleu was about 100 grams heavy. The cheese wasn't nearly melted, just disgusting. The meatloaf was dry and the so-called mushroom cream sauce was just bland and boring. My partner had to look for mushrooms. I might think the recessions are bought...in the end, this restaurant is a "shame for the gastronomy industry."

Im Leitbild wird die Österreichische Gastfreundschaft erwähnt. Stimmt und wird vor allem vom Chef gelebt. Servicepersonal flink und freundlich.Zum Essen: wenn 10 Menüs auf der Karte stehen, kann gar nicht alles frisch zubereitet sein.Meine Bratkartoffeln waren verbrannt, pampig und fettig ohne Ende.Weil ich viel Hunger hatte, habe ich trotzdem fast aufgegessen.

Mit Abstand eins der schlechtesten Restaurants die wir je besucht haben. Als Österreicherin die weiss wie österreichisches (oder auch bayrisches Essen) zubereitet wird und schmecken soll, war das der Horror schlechthin. Leberknödelsuppe: Leber in Stücken zwischen trockenem Knödelbrot 🤢🤢🤢 Schweinsbraten: mit Semmelknödel (wen man es so bezeichnen will) mit Championsauce und fast rohem Gemüse 🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️ Boeuf Stroganoff: roh wie Tartar Auf die Frage vom Personal ob es geschmeckt hat oder ob es versalzen gewesen wäre, kam von unserer Seite "na ja, Leberknödel kenne man anders und Knödel generell schauen anders aus und schmecken anders" kam nur "ah ja dann ists ja gut!" 🙈🙈🙈🙈 Fazit: Das bestellte Coca Cola war recht fein ...... den Rest würden wir nicht mal in einen Sautrog schmeissen!

Per Zufall haben wir dieses Restaurant entdeckt. Wir waren auf Kaffeefahrt und hatten Lust auf ein Dessert. Der Eiskaffee und die Espressi danach haben wir genossen. Dabei haben wir das Schild gesehen, dass es an drei Wochenenden Spanferkel gebe. Heute war es dann soweit. Das Schweinchen drehte munter am Spiess und so genossen wir die Aperos. Das Fleisch war herrlich gebraten und mit goldbrauner Kruste. Die Salate, aber auch die Spätzli etc. waren sehr gut und frisch gemacht. Auch der Rotwein war ein Genuss und passte hervorragend zum Spanferkel. Die. Bayerische Creme und die Marillenknödel genossen alle. Peter Klein und sein Team waren sehr freundlich, aufmerksam und immer präsent Tuns schauten für unser Wohl. Danke und gerne wieder.

Wir sind immer wieder überzeugt worden vom Rest. Thalegg. Das Personal ist zuvorkommend und freundlich. Besonders zu empfehlen sind die Kaiserschmarn. Trotz einer Episode mit diesem Gericht gehen wir weiterhin dorthin essen: Der Kaiserschmarn wurde uns letztes Mal salzig serviert... Ich habe mich sooo auf meinen Krustenbraten gefreut und wurde richtig richtig enttäuscht. Ich bekam ein glibriges halb rohes und gummiges stück schweinebauch mit einer Sauce die so voll Saucenbinder war das sie einem Pudding ähnlich war. Ich hätte als Koch das niemals so nach draussen geschickt sogar der Kellnerin ist aufgefallen das mein Krustenbraten ein wenig komisch aussieht. Die Sauce schmeckte auch mehr nach Rotwein als nach dem versprochenen Bier. Danke und nie wieder

Wir waren Heute zum 2 mal hier,sehr schönes Restaurant,kann man sehr gerne weiter empfehlen. Sehr freundliche Bedienung und ein Wirt der sich um seine Gäste sehr bemüht. Hervorragende Speisen zu angenehmen Preisen. Man schmeckt das hier noch richtig gekocht wird. Es gab bei unserem Gericht sogar eine extra Schale mit der herrlichen Sosse. Vielen Dank hier für.
