My family had an excellent experience. We all enjoyed our meals, the cordon bleus are delicious! Kids meals came first without asking, they loved the house made nuggets, colouring in provided and meals came fast. Place felt welcoming and staff was so friendly. Thank you!

We visited the restaurant after a successful day at the Thurgau Cantonal Shooting Festival. The friendly and very friendly host couple immediately set up 7 seats for us on the small, cozy garden terrace without prior reservation. After the excellent dinner, we enjoyed a delicious dessert and rounded things off with a homemade grappa. The food and service was excellent and is highly recommended.

Mega fine cordon bleu and veal liver with rösti

I've been living in Switzerland for 4 years and was able to experience a "real brunch" here for the first time, just like I'm used to in Germany. As a buffet at an absolutely fair price. Good quality, very tasty and the best Birchermüesli (homemade) so far. Many thanks to the great and friendly team for the excellent hospitality. We will be back.

Hospitality and food at a very high level. I was in Frauenfeld for a week on business and wanted to try a new restaurant every evening. But things turned out differently. On the first evening I happened to pass this restaurant and was just hungry, so I just went in and was impressed from the first day. It had been a long time since I had experienced such wonderful hospitality and the finest regional cuisine. My conclusion: Hallelujah, they're doing a really good job. Food is sensational. Thanks for the culinary week. 👍👍👍

An insider tip for anyone looking for a beautiful, excellently run country restaurant with 2 bowling alleys and a great garden restaurant. We were able to enjoy a very good Sunday brunch, where nothing was missing, simply presented with a lot of passion and heart and soul. The Metzgete from October 7th to 9th, 2021 was an absolute blast. Only the best sausages and side dishes were served. I'll definitely be there again next year. Cozy atmosphere inside and outside, a large selection of super great and delicious dishes that are prepared and served with great attention to detail. Good wine from the area. Friendly and competent service. Just top top top, I would recommend it to anyone.

Always good food/drink, also very good quality meat. Very nice, attentive service. I always enjoy coming here.

First we had a meeting and then dinner. We were served very friendly and courteously. The food was excellent and the waiting time was very short considering the fact that there were 10 people with 10 different requests. The boss served us personally and the chef also visited us several times and asked if everything was OK or if there were any wishes. Bravo!
