I went to the alpine dairy for the first time at the weekend after friends always raved about it. I chose the small entrecote, I think it was 200g, with morel cream sauce for an additional charge of CHF 6.00 and with pommes dauphinois (croquettes). The portion was good, I was full and it was simply outstanding! Really excellent! The service was friendly, motivated and attentive, even though it was packed with guests. The atmosphere is just as it is, nothing special, but with lots of decorations and a bit of mountain hut charm. Lots of wood, cozy, warm. It's more simple than modern, but you immediately feel at home here! The alpine dairy is an absolute recommendation and it is worth driving to Eriz. But please reserve in advance! This restaurant is always busy and busy. Unfortunately I forgot to take a photo of my entrecote. I'll do that again next time. FULL 5 stars from me!

I can't think of any other restaurant in the area where the portions are this big. If we had known what to expect from the main course, we would probably have left out the wings or opted for less schnitzel. Not only were we full, we also enjoyed the food. On the second visit we had pumpkin soup, shredded game and pepper. My husband has been raving about the pumpkin soup and the sliced ​​meat ever since. I was also impressed by the pepper with the side dishes - I really like Suure Mocke and therefore liked the slight acidity in the pepper. Since I was actually already full but couldn't do without vermicelles, I ordered the mini version. So if "mini" is already so big, I don't even want to know how big the normal portion is (in between there is also the "small" version)!
