Great buffet, always tasty, good value for money, good cocktails, nice bar next door, meat variation is a bit lean compared to other churrascos, otherwise it would have been 5 stars.

I, we haven't eaten so well for a long time ;)) admit "too much of a good thing"....but always happy...Highly recommend it ;;))

Food was good, at the beginning the beef was too raw "bleu". The next pieces were better. Everything else was very good.

Rio Churrasco in Stansstad offers a solid experience with acceptable food. While the meat was rather average, the rest of the offering was fine. The atmosphere was pleasant and the staff friendly. Overall, a satisfactory option, but perhaps not necessarily outstanding.

Was an interesting experience. If you like eating all kinds of meat, this is the right place for you. You need to be very hungry to beat the rather high price. But overall a great thing.

Cool's grill restaurant pleasantly surprised us last Sunday. The service was extremely friendly, especially towards children. The food was delicious and completed our experience. An all around successful experience!

Food top 5 stars. Service: 4 stars, unfortunately they forgot to serve our drinks. This worked when asked. We were also promised shrimps, which were brought upon request. Ambience: 4 stars, Very nice with the grill, but you freeze if you have the space at the entrance because of the draft. All in all a successful evening, we would love to come back.

Great concept with the <all you can eat>. The starter and side dish buffet is rich and of good quality. The churrasco skewers, which are served at the table by the staff with various types of meat, are of high quality. The traffic light game with the green beer mat side for <I'm hungry> and the red side for <I'm taking a break or I'm full> is very well solved. In any case, gladly again.

Very friendly staff, otherwise just ok. There was zebra, horse and other meats that were well seasoned. The picanha was good the first time on the skewer. The second time I ordered it came out of the kitchen as a thick steak, which was a shame. Buffet is ok and there is nothing special enough. There are only small pieces of pineapple. Wine selection is good.

Eating well ales good but why only ice cream with desert

The start with the aperitif cart was a perfect success! Rarely have I had such a good Caipirinha. The quality of the food was great, portions were large and cooked to perfection. Great wine list. Here you can feel that there is a concept behind it. A lot of passion and attention to detail. Price/performance absolutely appropriate.

I celebrated a company dinner with 18 people. The waitress complained to a colleague because she got up twice to get a salad from the buffet. We spent 1370 francs and they dare to ask for a piece of lettuce. We definitely won't be celebrating anything at this place again. The food was also cold.

Very cozy place for meat lovers. With one exception, the meat was all super tender and wonderfully seasoned. Service leaves nothing to be desired (thanks Luana in this way).

Whether you enjoy the Rio churrasco grill or al carde, we have never been disappointed.

- Restaurante in general very nice - Friendly service! - Now to eat, this ''churasco" has nothing to do with Brazil. The meat is seasoned as is usual in Switzerland. In Brazil it is only seasoned with sea salt and garlic, here it tastes like pre-marinated meat from the Coop. Farrofa has a strange taste and doesn't even have scrambled eggs or bacon in it. Fejuada (bean stew) tastes anything but an original Fejuada.

Good food without the wow effect, at lunchtime. There will definitely be something special in the evening.

Excellent! The meat was incredibly good and a mojito was served and mixed straight away at the table. It wasn't too crowded and not empty either, just right. The buffet was perhaps a bit monotonous and not really Brazilian. But we would love to come back! Price is a bit higher, but it was perfectly fine for us.

Extraordinarily delicious food with very friendly service😍 Went there on a Friday evening and made a reservation straight away for the beginning of the A discretion buffet. Staff came regularly and you could always choose whether you wanted meat or not. The meat was always well presented and had the best taste.👌🏼 We tried a lot of things that were new to me. The salad buffet was very fine and the side dishes were very, very rich. The atmosphere is cozy and the toilet is also very elegant. All in all, a really successful dinner. We'd love to come back, thanks to the staff 💛

We went to miss Brazil, but unfortunately the only good thing was the meat. Buffet left a lot to be desired: worst rice and beans I've ever eaten in my life, “Brazilian” barbecue without farofa, vinaigrette and guaraná. We waited 30 minutes to eat pineapple and two mini pieces arrived that were hard and tasted like charcoal. Brazilian restaurant, which has little Brazilian flavor.

If you are looking for Brazilian flair and temperament, you can safely avoid this place. For all meat lovers who like variety and quantity, this is the right place. Side dishes, salads and desserts are very standard.

We booked our reservation for 8 p.m. for a barbecue experience. Grill only lasted until +/- 8:30 p.m., restaurant was pretty full. I think 65 CHF per person for a few pieces of meat is excessive. If you offer the barbecue experience until 10.30 p.m., you should ensure that this condition is met and take care of customer satisfaction. Very disappointing.

- friendly staff - pleasant atmosphere Unfortunately, it was noticed that the staff was overwhelmed with the meat for many guests and that after a long wait they sometimes received raw meat. When you're very hungry, you're tempted to go to the buffet to fill your stomach with carbohydrate-heavy food so that you no longer have room in your stomach for the meat. In order to eat something for CHF 65.00, you have to have a lot of time and stamina on a day like this.

We were there last Saturday with a group of 17 people. We have never had such bad service. A few people at the table were served meat, either the meat was ready or you went to another table and they always got meat. What's more, there were people sitting at our table who didn't get any meat for half an hour!! We were disappointed because it wasn't exactly cheap and you actually didn't get much for it!!

How to get taken for a ride: Pay Fr.65.- per person for a grill experience - the picanha (still raw) is brought to the table once. So you can only take a small slice before we have to put the meat back in the grill. Until the picanha (noble beef rump - typical Brazilian) is back on the table, you can continue eating side dishes - so you'll have enough quickly - without having a real barbecue experience. You still have to pay for it - and not a little. Unfortunately, the grill experience was better than when both brothers ran the small Churrascaria in Lucerne - today the offering is mediocre - at least for the price charged.

If you are a homesick Brazilian missing Brazilian food, this is not the place to go. Food does not taste like Brazilian churrasco. Waiter do not know what picanha is, farofa is yoki ( freshly made). In any case if you are looking for a place to eat a lot of meet, they have a good variate.

We had a lovely evening for two at RIO churrasco. The traditional meat kebabs were good, although towards the end the waiters unfortunately only handed out pre-cut pieces from a plate, which dampened the experience a bit. The quality of the meat was good, especially the picanha and the shrimps were very delicate. The beef was a bit tough and the pork was unfortunately a bit dry. The ambience in the restaurant with the grill in the middle is fantastic. Definitely worth a visit.

Wonderful restaurant, kind and friendly service. The owner welcomed us at the door and very elegantly showed us to the table. The place is also very welcoming, with the fire in the middle of the room to cook the various meats, there is hot air which for my taste is favorable while eating, with soft lights, and as long as you want to stay there it is a restaurant which I recommend going to eat. There are various meats to try, from pork to kangaroo that they bring to the table. I hope to come back soon.

Best Cordonbleu ever. The liquid cheese runs out of the meat down to the last piece. Simply divine. Huge compliment to the chef. You can also get it take away.

We recommend. We had the churrasco. The grill specialties and side dishes were great! All the staff were very friendly, cheerful and helpful. I was even offered a pillow for my leg because I came with crutches and my reservation request regarding the location of the table was honored. We were there for the second time today and everything was very good both times. We were definitely not there for the last time.

In my opinion, it doesn't really offer value for money. Unfortunately, grilled foods didn't convince me. Side dishes were so-so, just average. Some of the meat that was on the menu was not available at the time of our stay. Some of the service staff couldn't say exactly what kind of meat they had on the skewer. And sorry if I can't really be satisfied with the statement "from cow". Otherwise, the staff was actually friendly and accommodating across the board.

As good and beautiful as a restaurant is and that's what it is...without a doubt...for us, service that makes you feel welcome is part of it. We enjoyed this service twice now from a lady who spoke standard German and had long blonde hair tied in a ponytail. Today we felt everything again, just not wanted. You have to get up to look for the lady to pay or order something else because she just doesn't come anymore. "She would have had other things to do." And there was a lot more. In any case, my husband has had enough after today. We like to spend good money and also like to bring business partners and friends with us. But I think this is the end of the line... Today was pretty borderline.

Interesting all you can eat concept. You can always get side dishes and the meat is brought to the table on very long skewers by nice ladies. So that there is no annoying demand, each guest has a beer mat that has red on one side ("Please stop feeding me") and a green side ("hungry").

A big WOW!! You should have already reserved the table. A very nice welcome, you are brought to the table, drinks like Caipirinha or something non-alcoholic are mixed directly at the table. The buffet was explained and off we went. The grilling takes place in the middle of the restaurant and is visible to every guest. Salad plate, then the side dishes and then to the table. The waitresses came straight away and served the hot pieces of meat straight from the spit. I think the selection was quite large, everything was very tasty. I didn't need the sauces because they would have spoiled the incredible taste of the meat. As long as the beer mat showed green - be careful, hungry - the meat dishes were served later. However, if the red side - Stop, please do not feed - was on top, the waitress knew. The Rio churrasco has a unique selling point. We were and are full and very satisfied. The restaurant covers the postage for the postcards to those staying at home. Great idea. I'll be back, that's as certain as saying Amen in church.

If the horse meat comes from the immediate environment, you can't criticize much... If the offer is a discretion, you don't have to complain about small mistakes. In the all inclusive menu you have many meat options that were never served to us. If you don't ask for it, you won't get it. The meat was spiced with some special herbs so that's all you could taste in some cuts. The buffet was ok. A part from that, the service was very friendly and they gave us great attention.

Went for dinner for two on Friday evening, mid-July 2021. The pictures on the homepage do not reflect the ambience we were hoping for: it was loud and the service was poorly trained. Nevertheless, we decided on the beef fillet on a fitness plate. The meat was very good quality, also fried to the desired point (medium and bleu). But lukewarm! The fitness plate consisted of cut salad from the bag with ready-made sauce (at least it didn't taste any better. Each menu cost CHF 61.50!!! When asked about it, the waitress "unfortunately" couldn't do anything. What a demolition!
