Ristorante Botero Caffè in Lugano

Waited for Focaccia sandwich for 45 min.

The breakfast and coffee are very good, but the prices are very high. The sandwich is 40 and you only get tomatoes and halloumi cheese.

The food is delicious, the coffee is good, and the shop owner is nice and helpful, as we paid in euros, not Swiss francs.

Nice place with beautiful view and excellent potential. Unfortunately terrible service, only one person who can't keep up with everything! They don't even clean the tables... shame

We're just not there. Unfortunately the food is rather disappointing and of poor quality. Pretty nice atmosphere...

Slow service and coffee wasn’t super good.

Place under the arcades of the long lake of Lugano. The prices of the coffees and mochas seemed slightly high to me: 5 francs for a cappuccino with a drizzle of caramel is a bit much. On the other hand, matcha and iced lattes are more appropriately priced. The coffee, in my opinion, was "only" okay, but the offer still seemed varied and interesting. One of us had the mokamisu and the idea is really nice! The service leaves something to be desired. We waited a really long time to be served and the place was unfortunately excessively noisy (we stayed less than expected because the noise of the dishes being mistreated was truly unbearable).

It was ok but not really good. Asked 2 times for the wifi password and didn't get it. Also didn't get salt. The food was ok.

Local review Dirty. Shame of Caffè Pascucci. No sense of Hygiene. You might have stomachache. I saw barista take out the ice by putting his hand in the ice maker. I couldn't communicate with him because he didn't have basic hygiene common sense. So I found the manager who was next to barista. She was with us, but she didn't respond, pretending she didn't hear me. That is such a shame

The flies feel like you're sitting on the toilet, I read a review that was 3 years ago and this was and still is a problem with flies papkin late is not tasty but there is a Beautiful view and good friendly staff

Coffee was very good. Food is below average. One of the few places that was open on a Sunday morning.

Excellent service, excellent and helpful waiters regardless of the fact that my wife and I were there for a dinner on 1 August 2023 with the place sold out and with regret they had to send customers away due to lack of seats, the general service and the welcome and the place for the event on August 1st, excellent quality, service and hospitality. And in any case I was present as a member of the International police organization in the Swiss section and for that event I was as a non-commissioned officer of the Swiss army as ASSU Lugano (Swiss Association of Non-Commissioned Officers Lugano).

Cute restaurant on the main strip. The food prices are average for the city. The food has a lot of flavour. Would recommend.

Nice location, the coffee was pretty good. (Bonus points for having a decaf version) The food was also okay (double beef burger, creamy Thai curry needed a pinch of salt, the pancakes were amazing. You can pay by bitcoin and that’s amazing! Would recommend.

Amazing coffee and delicious crossaint! Great little spot across from the waters edge to start your day, Lugano style! Staff are friendly and helpful. The honey crossaint is the best crossaint I've ever had. I'm definately be back. Well worth a visit if you're in Lugano.

Magnificent place but above all exceptional staff, they served and helped me impeccably. Today, which was the first time I passed, I only had a shaken coffee (excellent by the way) I will definitely stop by soon to eat a little something because I had a wonderful time. A supermarket-sized slice of Pan Carré less than a centimeter thick, sautéed in butter and sprinkled with sugar (you can find it on the menu as “French Toast”) for CHF 9.90. Excluding coffee. Price really out of place, but let me explain. The location is beautiful and the service is good, but we don't find a balance in price compared to the pizzas, which are always offered here which, excellent and at slightly higher prices (they are large pizzas), are filling and fully satisfying. The rest of the menu is of good quality. Suggested place for lunch and dinner on the lake but for breakfast the quality/quantity/price ratio is clearly unbalanced. To confirm this, there aren't many people at breakfast here 😝 it's a shame because in Lugano it is one of the few places that offers a vast choice of sweet and savory dishes for breakfast and could easily become the meeting place par excellence for Sunday brunch . But no: either you wake up hungry, or two small plates for breakfast cost almost the same as lunch, at the same place. I don't know!

Very loud in there. The employee has no sense of fine motor skills and is still walking around with his buddy. You can't enjoy your coffee. Tea was all.

Nice food, slow SLOW service. Leaving frustrated after waiting for over an hour for a dish and over 20 minutes for the bill- everything you want must be asked for at the least 4 times. (The restaurant was almost empty throughout the stay)

You can sit outside on the terrace on the lake promenade or, when the temperatures are cool, enjoy a cappuccino in the restaurant lounge.

I had a cup of tea with some friends and asked if there was sugar in the mix and I was told no, while at the bottom of the coffee cup (which was half full by the way for 4.50 sfr) there was it was a sugar fund. I point this out politely when I go to pay, so that the waiter knows for a next customer... and he replies smugly without apologizing: but do you have diabetes? I answer no, but that's not the point... okay...

I initially came in for a quick cappuccino and to charge my phone and ended up getting a speciality pour over tiramisu. A great cafe to duck in and I wish I would have tried it for breakast/brunch!

Good coffee, choice of appetizers, desserts. Internal space and veranda facing the lake, unfortunately noisy from traffic (Rimbomba). Popular for aperitifs, wide choice of beers, piadina specialties of all flavors and fillings

Quite ok to rest your legs for a moment. Cleanliness could be better, especially in the toilets. It lacks flair. The location is good

Terrible service, after 30 minutes of waiting and a few unsuccessful attempts to place our order we just left. Seems like a nice place but it’s also the staff making the place, would not recommend unless you’re VERY patient.

Nice place with a nice lake view, but the floor and tables are too dirty. In my opinion, the staff should be a little more empathetic, because I asked for a glass of water and they gave it to me without even looking at me, then when I arrived they "threw" the placemats and we had to put them on carefully. The costs are a little expensive but not excessive. I asked for a cutlet and after 10 minutes of waiting it arrived a little burnt. I'll try to come back in 1 month to see if it improves...

Unfortunately WE ARE NOT THERE, Spritz Apero aperitif Fr. 10.- per person and HE ASKS if we want some appetizers but he didn't understand the answer and I asked yes after 15 minutes. Gentlemen, OFFER and provide service to the Customer. If I drink an aperitif I don't want a dinner but something that is worthy of the service. See photos . I won't go there anymore. It's a shame that after 4 closed months we haven't understood that the CUSTOMER is a salary, a rent and comes back if he finds quality in the service. Saucer 3 slices of bread, 3 of salami and 3 of I don't know if it was ham or..... Best wishes for the future

A nice place, sunny, panoramic and with a good bar.

It's a really nice place. To go in two or even with a larger group. I have always been served quickly and I have found the quality of all the products, from drinks to pastries, excellent. The service and courtesy of those behind the counter and those serving you are also excellent. Fair prices, never too high. Seating both inside and outside (equipped with blankets) with the possibility of accessing the restaurant area. Very very nice!

Finally a place that has flat white! If you are a cappuccino lover, but the way you get it in all speciality coffee places around the world and don't wanna accept the italian way of doing it - an espresso and lots of airy foam... Just go to Pascucci and get a flat white! You're welcome :) they also have match, beetroot and turmeric latte.

A fantastic bar on the lakeside of Lugano. They don't just offer classic coffees or classic sandwiches, but rather they offer some very particular and creative coffees, complete with different creams and flavors and excellent sandwiches. For every palate and for those who want to try new things. The prices are a little high, but adequate for the quite particular products they offer.
