While passing through we decide to stop for a pizza at the Leventina restaurant in Bodio, located on the cantonal road towards Biasca. It was recommended to us by friends for the good pizza and for being the first time it didn't make a good impression on us. Having arrived without a reservation, we were immediately assigned a table, we sat down and ordered a margherita pizza and a parmigiana pizza. After us another couple arrives and surprisingly, after 30 minutes of waiting for our pizzas, they are served first, I look at the waiter and he understands that something is wrong and tells us that he will have our pizzas prepared immediately, practically our order is gone lost and the wait went to 40 minutes. I found the staff kind, but not at all professional and with no attention towards the customer, zero, in my opinion there were too many waiters and there was really poor organisation, poor and slow service, the pizzas however were very good, crunchy dough and huge , average prices. We ask for the bill several times until we can pay (cash only, they don't accept credit cards), which in my opinion is another point against it. I recommend it maybe for a good takeaway pizza, we definitely won't be back, it's a real shame. 4 stars for the pizza and 2 stars for the service!
