Ristorante Molino in Thônex

The pizzas are good but everything else is horrible, the pasta has no taste, no seasoning, the water and lemon risotto with two prawns. Really disappointed.

Excessive value for money. Friendly staff but mediocre food. This restaurant is over-rated.

Carafe of water charged at 4.00 francs, frankly, it's excessive even if the water is filtered. We had 2 aperitifs, 2 starters and 2 pizzas. It’s certain we won’t go back there 😡

We were late for the theater, we had 20 minutes to eat and our server Yassir did everything to make it work for us, in less than 10 minutes we were served and we enjoyed ourselves! A big thank you to him for his efficiency and professionalism!

I do not recommend the Molino restaurant in Thonex, I am currently there with family, I had a pasta dish for 30chf, my daughter had a pasta dish "children's menu" and you know what it was perfectly identical levels containing... I call the waiter to explain to him that it's probably a mistake on their part. He tells me that no, it's the size suitable for an adult... I am a professional chef, I know how to recognize a portion of pasta and honestly it disappointed me enormously, especially since we regularly come to eat here as a family...

My latte macchiato is served to me cold with a dirty spoon, I call the waitress who tells me that in Italy, they drink it lukewarm..... She takes my latte macchiato and comes back 5 minutes later after putting it in the microwave....surprising and aberrant 😒😒😒

It's a shame, the food is no longer what it used to be, they serve the grilled sea bass fried and full of oil, a dish so delicate that they transform it into an inedible dish. The delicacy of some time ago is missing. What a pity.

We were very well received. Very friendly staff and good advice. We started with a mixed salad and a small mixed salad (which is not on the menu, but which was accepted at my request). The menu card is not varied enough and the prices of the menus as well as the drinks are excessive for a place like the Molino, too bad because the atmosphere is top notch.

The dishes are good but unfortunately not the quality/price ratio. There are other restaurants that can offer similar dishes for a more modest budget.

When they charge you 4 francs for a 50cl carafe of still water, I'll let you imagine what happens next! Restaurant not recommended.

Pizzeria located inside the Coop shopping center with two indoor rooms and a large summer terrace in progress. Excellent quality pizza and fairly well served dishes. Friendly and helpful staff. Don’t hesitate to choose your table if the one we offer doesn’t suit you! (Molino is a restaurant chain)

Great disappointment, yet I have always been generally delighted. This evening I'm leaving with a San Daniel or rather bread in dried tomato sauce with two holes in a piece of cheese and not good quality ham. In addition we are promised a cheesecake which is not a cheesecake, but a very light and not firm mousse...

Beautiful and friendly restaurant..

Servers who love children = children who want to come back (special mention to Benjamin). Varied dishes and always good. Lots of options for pizzas. Dishes also for vegetarians. The terrace is pleasant with some games for children and far from traffic. Ideal for a good moment of relaxation.

Little disappointment this evening. Error in the order and so I leave, without knowing it, with a San Daniele pizza instead of a Miss Italia. Employee not knowing the pizza menu and claiming that I wanted a pizza with SD (partly true), having offered me on the phone. a Miss Italia (while there is also the Norma...) which I clearly accepted, no longer remembering the name of the other pizza (Norma). His coworker ended up apologizing, but no commercial gesture when I called back, so I decided to write this post. Damage. I came on the evening of 12/31/22 I ordered a menu proposed on the menu apparently by the chef, to my great despair a tasteless menu with a slice of meat which looked more like an overcooked scalopine than a real piece of meat, unacceptable considering given the price of chf 74.- I pointed this out to the waiter who did not take up my complaint, moreover, he had a certain inappropriate arrogance as if we were long-time friends! In short, with a manager not far away who was more concerned with chatting with his friends than having particular attention with the customers. Nice terrace but too expensive!!

DISAPPOINTING EXPERIENCE, Regarding the meal: Out of 3 dishes it was 3 failures, and charged 99.50 chf. let me explain : - despicable gnocchi we could have written a floured mash dumpling on the menu, it would have been less misleading but still as despicable. Not wanting to waste it, I brought it back to my cats who are big foodies and eat absolutely everything that exists: corn, potatoes, zucchini, pasta, chocolate gnocchi and so on. They didn't even taste the gnocchi after sniffing it. - the lasagna also overcooked, a tasteless stuffing. I will try to give it to the cat this evening and we will see if he prefers… - pizza, raw: I should have gone to the nearby Migros and eaten it frozen, I would have had a similar result. This for the sum of almost 100 chf Regarding the service, it was very slow for a restaurant with very few customers. We must still say what is good in criticism: The sprite, the coke and the ice tea were not missed and were fresh (because given the gastronomy that we hardly tasted, they could have been hot.) I was expecting a commercial gesture from them, notably offering coffee. But that didn't even cross their minds. I am disappointed, I myself work in catering and I find this behavior shameful. Pizza was OK, service a bit unfriendly

No one from any point of view. No reception, no time to order. The pasta is dry because it has been reheated. The other dish arrives incomplete. We order a dessert in which there are shreds of plastic. We told the waiter, who came back to explain to us that according to the cook it was gelatin. At the time of the bill we expect a gesture, push coffee or free coffee, the waiter explains to us that he can't do anything the chef is not there…but we noticed that!!!! ..

Overwhelmed waitress. Friendly but too much time giving the menu, ordering, bringing our ice creams. There were just 2 of us but we waited at least 30 minutes. This is not the first time that I have been poorly served in this restaurant...plus the ice cream cups are too expensive for the quantity.

On the 12th of March me and 4 friends decided to have dinner at Molino Thonox. I ordered a pasta carbonara, but with chicken instead of bacon. They served me carbonara with raw bloody chicken(I ate one piece and I completely lost my appetite. Very disappointed that they didn’t even try to compensate for this mistake that could have led to hospitalization.

We were pleasantly well served by a very friendly waitress (Mégane) and we ate very well. However, I find it regrettable that staff are forced to wear masks... Especially when the measures are lifted everywhere!

Ridiculously small portions delivered via Just Eat. Salad and tagliatelle in particular. Vegetarian pizza with very few toppings...we save money!!! ...but not bad.
