Really nice ! The place didn't look like much but we ate delicious pizza the size of a boat! Best pizza I've had in a long time. Very friendly and warm service. The only downside is the decor of the place. Lacks a little fantasy, decoration, colors.

In the calzone pizza, the egg was raw... not runny,... not even a little cooked. There was littalery no tempreture in the egg. The egg "whites" was completely clear of color (transparant). The cheese inside was melted just a little bit. When confronting the person serving our table. I was told. that this is normal.. I have to disagree by a lot! This is not how a calzone should have been. Also ive been here a year before. and even then the calzone was not right but it was way better then now! (the egg back then was cooked all the way trew) With 3 mains and 2 carpaccio up front. CHF 142.-... I was not impressed. I would not recommend this restaurant. But, feel free to see for yourself.

Very large and delicious pizzas. Very good Bolognese lasagna. Unfortunately after waiting over 30 minutes to be offered dessert or coffee, we paid the bill and left. The waiter, the only one managing the service, was a little overwhelmed by the number of people present but was very friendly. He was very honest in advising us not to have a salad before the pizzas. Negative note addressed to the group of 16 tourists who arrived at 7:45 p.m. without having reserved and especially to the lady who asked the question and who rolled her eyes when the waiter told her it was full (and it was ) then to the two children and two men who entered the restaurant to ask the question once again.

The service was so terrible for us. The Waitress does not speak English or German. We ordered Merlot and it came way too warm I asked for ice bucket but the Waitress doesn't want to give me one because she argues that it's not warm and they don't do that. She just gave a glass of ice which leaves us no choice but to mix ice with Merlot in able to drink it.

Really nice and friendly staff. The plate of breaded bread and chips was plentiful and good. I took the dish of the day which was also plentiful and good. The pizzas I saw being served were interesting, I will go back to try them because they looked delicious.

The pizza's not bad, you can find better ones, lately, the factotum has prohibited entry to an 82 year old customer, with the excuse that where this person read the newspaper was reserved for eating at 9.00 in the morning? He only drank a coffee and took newspapers to read. Furthermore, the mandatory Grenn Pass check is not carried out.

Everything was very clean and well maintained and the location was pleasantly quiet next to a small park. Personally, I found the map too extensive and difficult to understand in Italian. There was a change of host here some time ago. So we ate a seafood salad and pizza here a few days ago. That was absolutely great. The pizza was huge like I've never experienced before. Price-performance is absolutely fair. We'll be happy to come back and we're happy that the restaurant will continue to operate like this.

Die Bedienung war ok, freundlicher wäre auch ok. Das Ambiente - naja, für Tessin ok. Eher kühl, frische Farben aber halt wie ein Wartsaal. Gibt es im TI viele. Die Pasta mit Bolo und Gorgonzola und Rahm waren tiptop, die Pasta Amatriciana waren eher fad. Der offene Rote (gibt wohl nur 1) war sosolala. Statt einem 3dl offenen Wasser gab es eine 5dl Passugger, ok, wir haben nicht reklamiert. Alles in Allem ein Solides Gut. 3 Punkte wäre zuwenig, 4 sind aber zuviel.

Felicemente sorpreso di trovare una pizza così buona in svizzera. Il cameriere era gentile e disponibile ma mai invadente. Ambiente tranquillo e ha il parcheggio proprio davanti. Ci sono già andato due volte ma di sicuro è il mio riferimento in zona quando voglio mangiare una buona pizza senza spendere troppo.

Personale abbastanza cordiale, volevo mangiare un piatto di carne e la cameriera mi dice: "scusami ma non abbiamo la carne" quando nel menu c' era.. assurdo che non hanno nessun tipo di carne.Piatto scarso, esco che ho ancora fame....Posto carino e personale oltre al cordiale abbastanza simpatico

Nach einer anstrengenden Wanderung sind wir im Restaurant Piazza eingekehrt. Aufmerksam sind wir auf die Werbung im Eingangsbereich geworden. Die Menükarte ist übersichtlich und gut strukturiert. Besonders positiv hat auf uns das saisonale Angebot an Speisen gewirkt. So entschieden wir uns für Gnocchi aus Esskastanien. Die Gerichte waren frisch und lecker zubereitet. Ebenso war auch der Service freundlich und zuvorkommend.

Servizio accogliente e cucina ottima. La pasta alle verdure è squisita, come pure la pizza. Ci andiamo regolarmente.

Waren dort zum Abschluss unserer Ferien. Die Bedienung war nett und gut. Auf's Essen mussten wir nicht lange warten und die Pizzen waren super gut. Das Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis ist top.

Sono stata 2 volte presso la Pizzeria Piazza a Tenero, la prima volta ho mangiato una pizza, nulla di speciale, la seconda volta veniva proposto un menù a tema, piatti scarsi e non soddisfacenti in fatto di qualità. Locale pulito e personale comunque gentile, peccato per la qualità dei piatti.

Wir hatten einen schönen Tag. Wundervoll und perfekt Pasta mit Muscheln und ein schönes Pizza. Wir werden auf jeden Fall wieder kommen. Aufgrund von ne CHF Wechselkurs sehr, sehr teuer - aber dies ist Schweiz - nicht spezifisch für dieses Hotel ...

Das Restaurant befindet sich im Zentrum und hat zwei grosse Terrassen. Zurzeit hat es auch einen grossen TV wo man die Fussballspiele verfolgen kann. Hatten eine Pizza, für 10 Fr., welche sehr gut war. Eine nette Bedienung. Kaffee war auch gut. Kommen wieder.

Sono stato oggi per pranzo, ho preso una pizza e devo dire che si difende bene, ma personalmente nulla di speciale.

È stata davvero una grande sorpresa. Ho provato solo la pizza e posso dire che era forse la migliore che mangiavo da molto tempo nel locarnese. Il Ristorante Piazza si affaccia, come dichiara chiaramente il nome, sulla Piazza di Tenero, vicino a Locarno. Ci si arriva tranquillamente a piedi dal Centro Sportivo.

Wir waren die einzige Touristen, gut besucht durch einheimisches Publikum. Immer ein gutes Zeichen. Laut und lebhaft. Essen ausgezeichnet und alles frische Produkte. Der Kellner die Ruhe selbst, aufmerksam und sehr freundlich. Vorspeise Salate mixta, riesenportion, frisch und knackig. Pizza vom feinsten. Meine Calamares frisch zubereitet und sehr lecker. Werde wiederum hier einkehren, absolut top und empfehlenswert.

Zuerst fragten wir uns wollen wir hier wirklich essen, machte ein bisschen sehr einen Bar eindruck? Die Karte versprach dann aber schon mehr, und dass essen war schlussendlich wie bei den vorherigen Bewertern sehr gut.Die Bedienung war sehr freundlich und Preis Leistung fanden wir sehr gut. Auf jedenfall eine empfehlung, wenn jemand unspektakulär einfach was gutes essen möchte.

Eine tolle kleine "italienische" Bar mit gutem essen. Nicht überteuert, authentisch und mit einem netten Oberkellner Namens "Pino".Die Pizza wird natürlich im Holzofen zubereitet und schmeckt superlecker und ist preislich für die Schweiz wirklich in Ordnung.Wir waren mehrmals dort und werden auch wieder hingehen.

Solita riunione condominiale e solito ritrovo.....sempre accogliente....servizio buono e pizza con variate scelte e condimento molto generoso e buono.Sempre soddisfatti.Un posto che e sempre in voga.....e di passaggio...

Andavo molto spesso a mangiare la pizza al Ristorante Montedato e da qualche tempo si sono spostati qui al Piazza, infatti dopo una ricerca ho potuto mangiare di nuovo la pizza molto buona e particolare che solo in questo posto si può gustare!!!

Cena fra amiche compagne di palestra.....Ci fermiamo li perché al giovedì e martedì a cena tutte le pizze 9.90fr.....si proprio tutte.....pizze grandi, buonissime, condimento abbondante.....Mentre anche tutti i mezzogiorni da lunedì a venerdì.....9.90fr....Tutte e quattro contente e soddisfatte....Qualità e prezzo veramente buono 17.50fr. a testa.....meno di 20fr.....(con aperitivo e acqua)....Se si vuole mangiare una pizza buona ed economica.....vi consiglio di passare!!!

Da amante della pizza non ho potuto fare a meno di assaggiare anche quella proposta in questo ristorante! È molto buona, ben condita e FINALMENTE un posto dove la fanno con la mozzarella di bufala!!! Simpatico, sorridente e disponibile il cameriere! Essendo del posto e non turisti, abbiamo trovato il conto un po' alto per essere a Tenero. Ad ogni modo lo consigliamo!

Tenero is just a mile or so from Locarno, one of the cities you must visit when in Ticino.And this is really worth stopping at. The pizzas are great and big, the salads fresh. All this served with a constant smile.A great discovery.This restaurant is on a calm small place with plenty of park spaces (some dedicated to the restaurant some public and to be paid)
