Friendly service, good food, great atmosphere

The food was good and nicely prepared. The kitchen seems to be doing a good job. The service left a lot to be desired. Wrong things were brought or what was ordered wasn't brought at all. Waiter ran away in the middle of the order because the phone rang - without apology. The four of us only received three menu cards. Two people wanted to take away their unfinished pizza. One was packed up, the other disappeared without a trace. It's an arrogant aloof service. The price-performance ratio is not right for this.

I ate my favorite pizza “Napoli” yesterday, for the second time there (but I hadn't eaten anything the first time, only saw the menus served by the others!!!), - - almost had an orgasm because I had EVERYTHING of it the NAPOLI tasted so delicious. The special foods they use are unique but make for the super taste; Sugo, cheese & dough alone are a poem💖😍♥️ We have gained a new favorite restaurant with us and would love to go there again😎💖😇😊 Thank you very much!

Pizza very bad and rubbery, the base was soggy and much too thin. Partially burnt at the edge. Definitely not Neapolitan pizza. Unfortunately I had diarrhea after eating. There are definitely better pizzerias in the area. Visited once and unfortunately very disappointed.

Excellent Italian restaurant. The food is like being on vacation. Everything fresh and tasty. The service is very friendly and professional. The ambience offers several highlights such as the aquarium, the vintage Vespa, the beautiful pizza oven and the wonderful wine cellar. Grazie per la bellissima serata e a presto.

We had lunch with a group today. Since we arrived before 12 p.m. and there weren't many other guests there, we were served very quickly. The restaurant is rather large and gets loud with many guests. The Funghi pizza I ordered was very good, but unfortunately the lobster and crab “aquarium” spoiled my appetite a bit. It's right at the entrance and is full of algae, you're not sure whether the animals are still alive or not... It's a shame, otherwise the stay was pleasant, but it had a bad aftertaste.

On Saturday evening we decided to go to eat, even though the place was very full, the staff served us very quickly, we ate well, the place was very clean and the manager was very professional. We went last night to eat in this very renamed restaurant, we ate lobster pasta, it's really the best taken directly from the aquarium they have at the entrance, fresher than ever, very friendly service. congratulations we will definitely return, I recommend everyone to go if you want to eat fresh and fabulous fish

I must say that I didn't think I would have such a perfect evening, even though the restaurant was packed the waiting times were minimal, really fast efficient service, everything was good from the starter (my own core platter and the Italian fry chef which was fabulous) to not to mention the first courses, a pacchero with lobster taken in front of us from the aquarium, and the carbonara which was sublime, I think I will return often. As a guest, I observed several lobsters being kept in an aquarium in the restaurant. Tie the scissors until they come alive into the cooking pot. I had the feeling that the lobsters were vegitating and seemed almost apathetic. If you enjoy it, have fun, but I lost my appetite afterwards. I know this is the practice of most restaurants that sell lobsters. Unfortunately….

Very nicely designed restaurant and a great menu. In my opinion, the food was average, but the service could be improved greatly. The risotto for the fillet was forgotten, after the main course we were ignored. We had to ask if we could order something else. The waiter was sitting at the bar on the Natel. Ordered an espresso for dessert, unfortunately forgotten.

One of the best pizzas I have ever eaten

I passed here by chance, and I must say that I was impressed by the quality of the food... everything was first choice, especially traditional flavours, I really felt at home especially after tasting the pacchero with lobster which was truly exceptional, even the fried lobster golden and crunchy prawns and calamari. To conclude the experience, a delicious tiramisu made to perfection The owner was really welcoming Perfect service, good guys.

Service employees were unsure which red wine was in the glass. Then two different employees smelled it and then served the same glass to my companion.

I have been living in Switzerland for 4 years, I am very fixated on our Campania culture, I have eaten good pizza in Zurich but never pasta like this, I assure you that it is the best and most real cuisine that exists in Switzerland, all very professional Neapolitan chefs with a great professional culture for the number 1 cuisine ever, and I'll tell you more, perhaps even better than some restaurants in Naples

Unfriendly service, expired drinks with moldy labels, long waiting time, no apology. Very disappointing and not recommended. Prices are too high for what is offered.

I was invited to eat at Core Mio. Everything was very nice and nice. A bit hectic on Saturday evening but everything was within limits. It is very large and divided into different areas with a total of around 500 seats (inside and outside). The waiter was very friendly and attentive. The menu is quite large and I would have liked to order everything. That's why it took a while until we could decide... The food was fine (we had starters as well as pizza and pasta as the main course). Conclusion: Nice and fine but too big for a cozy evening for me.

I cannot emphasize enough how thrilled I am with my experience at Core Mio Restaurant. Not only was the food excellent, but the warm manner of the staff and the child-friendly atmosphere made the evening something special. It's rare to find a restaurant that caters equally to adults and children. Core Mio has definitely found the balance between excellent cuisine and family friendliness. An absolute must for anyone who wants to go on a gastronomic journey of discovery without having to forego a relaxed, family atmosphere. Bravi!!!

Food very good, authentic Italian. It's not a bad idea to speak a little Italian, as the waitress still has a very limited German vocabulary. Still, a nice restaurant, so we'll definitely be back.

A classic example of becoming a victim of their own success. Core Mio was perfect at the old location, it was small, intimate and had a great atmosphere. Since March 2023 they are operating out of a new location 3-4 times bigger it seems. I had the impression, that the service cannot keep up with said huge growth. It started off with an order of coke that was forgotten, then we did not get a new glass for it and had to request it ourselves. Next the starter came with the main course, I had to wolf down the tasty octopus salad and therefore could not enjoy it. After the plates were cleared, we were completely left on our own. No came to us and asked if we want to have coffee or dessert. So, after 20 minutes we asked for the check and left the restaurant. The food was still good, everything around it left us with a bitter aftertaste ☹

Extremely unprofessional service - hardly speaking German and if you complain about this the landlord will approach you in a very threatening style

Staff very friendly, but the pizza was very small and unfortunately very burnt. A pizzaiolo with passion is simply not allowed to serve a pizza like that, after eating we had an unpleasant taste in our mouths. There is a lot of potential, the location and staff are great.

Despite reservations and enough free seats, there were 5 of us sitting at a table for 4. Pizza not cooked through and pretty burnt. Waiter became increasingly unfriendly after realizing that we wanted to eat without starter... We were there for the first and last time.

Great atmosphere in the (town hall) garden of the Core Mio. Service staff is attentive and friendly. The food is well prepared and the menu offers a wide selection. The restaurant is busy, reservations are recommended. An enrichment for the city of Aarau. A presto!

Food was very good, service was ok, but the pizzeria was very loud with music not my style

Good platter and well presented. Good pizzas, but I've already had better here around Aarau. Unfortunately the service was not up to par. At the beginning nice and attentive but with many shortcomings. For example, second bottle of wine not tasted first, glasses of beer for the aperitif cleared very late, then after the pizza we wanted dessert: waited 20 minutes, asked for the dessert menu, waited another 10 minutes, the table still not cleared, in the end we we gave up dessert and paid. Dear Lords of my Heart, too bad! Such a truly disappointing service.

The staff was nice. The restaurant was very full, so there was a bit of a wait, but it was ok and we compensated with a coffee on the house. Very obliging! The Neapolitan pizza is a matter of taste, the base was too soft for us. There are also many other Neapolitan specialties which we will try next time.

Four of us went to this restaurant in the evening. We ordered 3x pizzas and 1x spaghetti carbonara: - Unfortunately there are not too many dishes that can be ordered for vegetarians. Vegetarians would be better off looking for another restaurant - Unfortunately, Core Mio does not offer lactose-free mozzarella on the pizzas. + The spaghetti carbonara was excellent - However, we give the pizzas 5/10 points. The dough was not yet cooked through on all three pizzas. If you like that, this is of course the right place for you. Unfortunately, the Core Mio didn't suit our taste for pizza. - The service person responded to our polite feedback about the pizzas in a defiant and unfriendly manner. The subsequent dessert menu was probably snatched out of our hands out of spite. Unfortunately, we cannot recommend the Core Mio restaurant. Both the food and service remained well below expectations. For the overall rather high prices (spaghetti carbonara 25 CHF; pizza Margherita 18 CHF, aperitif drink 15 CHF) we hoped for more. Price-performance is not right here.

Good food, the new restaurant looks very spacious, bright and pleasant. Service arrogant, no eye contact, smile. I found it a shame because it doesn't match the name “core mio = my heart”. They also seem stressed. The drink took a very long time to arrive, about 15-20 minutes, that shouldn't be the case. I have been to Italy several times and found the food to be excellent. The plates can be hotter so that the dish is warm remains.

Very good pizzas! The truffles on the pasta smelled very special and couldn't be eaten. Nevertheless, the entire price was charged. A pity! Unfortunately, lobsters are kept in an aquarium. This is unnecessary in a landlocked country.

Nice restaurant, you immediately feel at home. The staff is friendly, nice and professional. We chose antipasto and pizza. The antipasto "insalata di polpo" was very good. The pizza is typical Napoli, just as it should be. The pizza at core mio is a symphony. The prices are fair. There are enough parking spaces in front of the restaurant or in the surrounding area.

Euregio Gentlemen I had dinner in this restaurant the pizza looked like it was thrown into the pool the bruschettone doesn't even have the shape nor the taste even without garlic then let's not talk about the Tiramisu and only a Tiramisu full of Cream and without even a drop of Mascarpone maybe they have to change the name to this Tiramisu at the end of service even without attention to the dishes which first arrives 1 and then after 5 minutes the 2nd Pizza arrives when we only ordered for 2 people disappointed
