There are three of us, including our mom, who is extremely critical. We are excited!!! Tartar: great quality, tomato bread soup: spicy and unique👍Cozze: Fantastic, and actually never eaten better. Gambas, ratatouille, rosemary potatoes, we are totally satisfied and are now looking forward to dessert. Everything here is homemade, fresh and perfectly seasoned. A big compliment to the chef and the exceptionally good service! Thank you👍

Very nice restaurant in Gunten on Lake Thun. We arrived on a Sunday afternoon around 2 pm and got a nice table with a great view of the lake. The food was great. My wife had the giant shrimps (although they looked more like small lobsters) with home made pasta and I got the vegetarian tagliatelle with lemon and basil sauce, both being delicious. The service was also great, with Emilia taking excellent care of us, even though she was by herself and had several guests to attend to. She speaks excellent English so you will have no trouble ordering what you want. Overall, a wonderful place to relax after you have been visiting the area.

Not recommendable! Went there with children and didn't even receive drinks after 40 minutes! Unfriendly staff! I don't want to know how long it would have taken for the food to be on the table. The only nice thing is the view of the water, which you can also enjoy with take away right next door on the bank!

The food is good and the presentation is nice. The location, right on the lake when the weather is nice, is fantastic. Unfortunately the service is bad. The staff is friendly, but you have to wait ages to order (before and after your meal). Waited forever after dinner to order a coffee. I'm still waiting for it today. 😂 At least it wasn't charged. I can recommend the restaurant with a clear conscience, but you don't have to expect top service.

The beautiful location on the lake is the only highlight for me and probably also a huge blessing for the operators from Sri Lanka. Because I wouldn't go there a second time because of the pizzas. And I and my companion didn't really feel welcome either. We were there on a beautiful day and everything was already reserved for the evening. But since we were there at 5:30 p.m. and said we would be gone after an hour. We were still allowed to squeeze into a mini table. But they could have easily given us a larger table that was only reserved from 7 p.m., because by then we would have been gone long ago. That's why I recommend the "Bedli Gunten" in summer, which is just a few steps away. Or then the Parkhotel Gunten.

We come here more than once and every time the same waitress serves us with a dissatisfied face. And if he sees that we don't speak German, you can't expect a smile or friendliness. Drinks were brought to us after we had served all the people who came after us. The food took more than 40 minutes to prepare. I won't come back...

Pizza is good, service is nice, but the speed of the kitchen is tragic! Waiting almost 40 minutes for 3 pizzas is terrible! the restaurant was half empty and it still took an awfully long time. Next time we will go somewhere else.

Food was impeccable. Beautifully presented, even my calzone was nicely decorated with basil leaves. The map has a lot to offer. The service seemed unfocused and forgot to bring individual orders to the table. There was also a lack of friendliness. Price performance is good, medium price level. I can thoroughly recommend this location.

Great restaurant right on the lake. Seating on the terrace right by the water. The staff was very friendly and pointed out to us that it might be louder today - the restaurant was celebrating its first anniversary. Every guest got a free beer/Aperol etc. Live music started late at night with a lot of Italian crowd. Can't understand the bad reviews, although the restaurant was very busy, we waited a maximum of 15 minutes for an appetizer and 30 minutes for the pizza. Both were very tasty and the staff also brought extra bread for the starter. A very successful evening, therefore my full recommendation. taste

Fine food - but unfortunately completely overwhelmed staff! We waited 30 minutes for the drinks and another hour for the appetizer! The main course also took over an hour to arrive - and there were no new drinks the entire evening. We then skipped dessert and after another 45 minutes of waiting, we paid and enjoyed an ice cream a few meters away in the Guntenbedli! Apparently two employees were sick - as coincidentally, the two were sick the weekend before. Dear hosts: if staff are unavailable, simply accept fewer reservations! It's annoying and embarrassing when you come to your place with good customers and then receive such poor service!

We were warmly welcomed on the beautiful outdoor terrace. The food is delicious as is the wine. The terrace is located directly on Lake Thun. However, it would be even more comfortable with a little chill out music.

I wanted to have lunch today and in this sun I didn't go out in the sun, but rather directly under a parasol, and that's what happened to me too Staff assigned. As the meal began, two older women came who wanted a table in the shade; the innkeeper himself took my route and gave the older ladies my parasol. I just sat in the blazing sun... I left all my food and drinks... no replacement, I got up, paid and complained. Because this is an absolute disgrace towards the guests. I will not recommend this restaurant with a clear conscience. Because the behavior of the complaint was just a small smile from the landlord...

Waited 2 hours for pizza. Then we moved on without eating. If you don't have enough employees, you should reduce the number of tables. Or reduce the menu offering. Due to the beautiful location on the lake, you don't have to rely on regular customers. A pity!

The service was very attentive and friendly despite the rush on the driveway. The food was not only beautifully prepared, it also tasted very good. The highlight for us was the surprise appearance of the staff at our table: They sang "Happy Birthday..." for my 80th birthday. Thank you very much for the lovely memory!

Last night I noticed that the person sitting at a table near me who wrote the post to a star, Mario Denier (write Mr. not because of nothing handsome, had two boors) I would say that it was him and the lady who accompanying him (especially her) should be ashamed. Rude, snooty, conceited and arrogant like I've never seen in my life. The "lady" sent the dish back three times without even trying it and the dish was repeated three times, it was obvious that it was not the previous one. They even have the nerve to do such a check while being lousy. 10 on the patience and education of the cook, just a shame for these two rude

Bad cuisine. Unfriendly boss who dismissed the complaint (pasta dish was complained about, taken back and served a second time minutes later) with the remark, "Don't ever come to this restaurant again".
