A family owned business run the right way with pride of providing the best service possible in the most friendly manner. I have returned every year since discovering them 9 years ago except the COVID year. Life would seem a void if not for my trip from the US to visit and stay at their hotel and eat their risottos at the Ristorante Statzione. Their risottos are a culinary masterpiece!

Managed for many decades by the Besomi family in a high quality family way. You immediately feel at ease regardless of social class, all customers are considered and respected. Great environment. The cuisine obviously reflects what is listed above, i.e. excellent and varied.

We traveled to Tesserete for a weekend of e-biking. Idyllically located in the middle of Ticino. We stayed at the Hotel Tesserete and ate at the Ristorante Stazione. The food here was very, very good. I think I've never tasted such fine gnocchi before. Service very friendly and accommodating. If I have the opportunity I will come again. A detour to Tesserete is definitely worth it!

Was at the hotel and restaurant for the weekend for cycling. Wonderfully located for tours by racing bike or MTB (Monte Bar). Cozy room, fine food, great service. The family is super nice and you immediately feel at home. I'm looking forward to the next visit.

The only unpleasant thing was that the cook put the salad and ham with his hands and took the salad with his hands to put it on the plate

Dated restaurant with 1950s decor, friendly staff, very good saddle of venison, the only flaw is the presentation, it arrives at the table directly on the plates and not displayed on the serving plate, as it should normally be served, it could give the impression that you need leftovers from other guests, side dishes are scant and not varied between the first and second courses, the price is exaggerated compared to the limited portions of fr.72.- per person. We definitely won't be returning

This family-run restaurant has been in Tesserete since 1930. The quality has been more than excellent for years! We took the saddle of roe deer fillet, really soft and with a very tasty sauce. The service is quite fast and kind, the place is nice and the prices are in my opinion slightly lower than the competition. It's best to reserve in advance.

The friendly nature of the brothers Luca and Oliver with their father Guido rounds off the experience in the restaurant perfectly. If the long-standing service staff and the food are still top notch, you'll always be happy to come back to Ristorante Statione and the associated Hotel Tesserete.

Great service, great food Update: I've been to this restaurant, 3 days later for a second time. The place was busy as usual. To my surprise they remembered where I was sitting the first time, what I had for dinner and the wines I tried. Excellent service once again.

Unfortunately I didn't eat. End the day comfortably with a glass of beer. Nice to sit outside. Service is very friendly. I can recommend it.

Very rude approach. Today We asked very politely is it possible to have an apero and the old gentleman that was serving said yes and pointed us a table .. We sat and after 2 min he started to shout that we sat on a wrong table and that he meant that we can sit in a very little service table where there was not even chairs around it.. It’s was very very disturbing as we had to leave and everyone was looking at us…

Was there on Sunday, just before 11 a.m. and had to wait a bit because they don't open until 11 a.m. Yes, the menu doesn't have a large selection, or if you're looking for pizza, you've come to the wrong place. But I was only thinking about gnocchi on my hike anyway, so I wasn't disappointed. See photo. This was absolutely the best gnocchi I've ever eaten! And the staff very friendly and accommodating. The terrace is very nice. Keep it up!

Nice surprise, nice family restaurant, a fairly limited menu which allows you to be sure that the products are fresh and of good quality. Careful dishes and homemade desserts. Little extra, the waiters speak a little French.

The roe deer saddle is excellent

I ate the saddle, in my opinion, the meat was very good, as was the spätzli, the red cabbage was almost like a jam and the Brussels sprouts were okay but a little few, chestnuts and pears were good. In general a little expensive especially if you look at the quantity of meat on the first course and with the supplement for the second course in my opinion the price is quite expensive. Certainly abundant enough, a little disappointing but I think we weren't particularly lucky with whoever served us who appeared rather listless and should have explained how the saddle service works, which I later heard doing at a nearby table.

There is little to say, this year I ate the best saddle in this restaurant. Rightly so, given the quality and the not too excessive prices, the restaurant was full, but this did not prevent quick service. and quality. Better to reserve well in advance to ensure a place at the table.

A real delight for the taste buds and what's more, the menu is also in French and the service also speaks French. The prices are very reasonable and the menus are very interesting as well as being good. An address to return to every time we are in the region. The boss is super friendly, welcoming and caring. and is full of dynamism. Coffee grapa offered. And Vegetarians are welcome. In addition there is a terrace with free parking space right in front.

Dopo aver letto diverse recensioni positive su questo ristorante mi sono decisa a provarlo una sera. Sono andata con amici ed abbiamo preso il controfiletto di capriolo, il fegato alla veneziana e una terrina di selvaggina come antipasto. Avendo preso l'antipasto abbiamo fatto un solo giro di sella di capriolo (costo 49 chf) . Potrebbe sembra poco ma nel piatto c'erano 8 fette di un capriolo tenerissimo, accompagnato da ottimi contorni e da doppio giro di spaeztli. Quindi il piatto da 49 chf non delude affatto ma se si ha ancora voglia si può prendere una seconda portata di capriolo e si paga 65 per le due porzioni.Il proprietario ed il personale sono molto cortesi e accoglienti. Prezzi nella media della zona ma i piatti sono buoni ed abbondanti.

Wünsche wurde ohne Probleme eingegangen! Das Essen war sehr fein und zwischen den Gängen wurden nach Rückfrage kleine Pausen eingelegt. Der Wein wurde aufgrund der getrunkenen Menge abgerechnet, ein super Service.Wir können das Restaurant nur empfehlen und kommen sicher wieder.
