Ristorante Tamaro in Tenero-Contra

Very nice staff and very nice place right on the lake. Children's playground and pool are all there. There is also a restaurant but we didn't visit it. Ispra is worth a visit. You walk the first part along the main street, then there is a path directly to the bank and along there.

Unfortunately I didn't have a good experience. The campsite/bungalow would be great BUT only if it was reasonably warm! At 5 to 10 degrees it is not warm in the rooms despite the heating extreme draft. We didn't want to rebook in advance because we were in poor health. No chance. We were simply told that we didn't want to come because of the weather forecast. It wasn't true, no one was interested. Hospitality and 5 stars would definitely be different. The result after 2 nights in a cold draft: husband and daughter in bed with fever. Great vacation. It's a shame, the only goal is to make a profit and the focus is definitely not on the satisfied and happy guest who would then come back. We will certainly not book there again, let alone recommend it. A pity.

Beautiful campsite, almost perfect for us; BUT there are star deductions for the following: Toilet facilities are outside and not heated! There are heated rooms for showers! If a campsite in Switzerland opens its doors in March, that shouldn't be the case! Especially not in a 5 star place. Next time in spring we'll go to the one right next door, which has brand new, super nice and, above all, WARM sanitary buildings for the same price!! It's a real shame, you have to supply it later!

Enjoy your meal. Nice to sit outside. We were here again last year. Everything is nice and clean. The lake was great for swimming and still warm. It's also nice that you're so close to the jetty. Always beautiful sunsets.

Only visited the campsite for a few hours as guests of other guests. The Camping Tamaro Resort, located directly on Lake Maggiore, makes a very orderly impression. From the main entrance with reception to the green areas, sanitary facilities, playgrounds, everything makes a very well-kept impression. We stopped at Ristorante Tamaro for lunch. The restaurant is very modern and brightly decorated. Staff very friendly and accommodating. The menu is plentiful and the price is well within the Swiss average. Our food was excellently prepared and plentiful. We'd love to come back again.

Were there for five days. Price performance even in euros - conversion is appropriate. Super nice and clean. We will be back !!!

Beautiful campsite with a beautiful view of the surrounding towns and mountains. Very well maintained facility and always clean medical supply stores. The food in the restaurant also tastes good. In terms of price, remember that you are in Switzerland...

Auf das Essen mussten wir angerhalbstunden warten. Ich und meine Mutter bestellten beide Lasagne wo kalt und nicht gut war. Das Personal ignorierte uns lange und wir nach dem Essen fragte sagte er es komme bald und wir mussten noch lange warten. Das Personal ist mit allem sehr überfordert gewesen.

Ci sono stato a pranzo , locale accogliente , ottimo il pranzo e servizio molto accurato, ci ritornerò sicuramente!

Tutto in piena regola con le prescrizioni per il Coronavirus, tavoli distanziati, personale con visiera, mono porzioni di formaggio grattugiato e pane in un sacchetto, carta plastificata in modo da poter essere ben pulita e disinfettata. Personale molto gentile, io ho mangiato i filetti di pesce persico ed erano squisiti, gli altri tartare e ravioli al salmone ed hanno confermato anche loro che era tutto molto buono. Lo consiglio. ( purtroppo ho dimenticato di fare delle foto vista l'emozione della prima uscita!!!)

Risotto mit frutti di mare und Spaghetti Pomodoro sind sicher einfache Gerichte. Aber was hier aus der Küche kommt, lässt den Gaumen jauchzten. Das Personal fragen wo man sitzen darf, macht das Bestellen einfach und hilft wohl nicht nur hier, eine angenehme Atmosphäre für ein gutes Essen zu schaffen.

Wir waren in unseren Ferien zwei mal in diesem Restaurant. Das Essen war jedes mal lecker. Der Kellner (beides mal der gleiche) ignorierte uns jedoch jeweils sehr lange und vermittelte uns den Eindruck, dass wir unerwünscht sind und ihn stören. Um bestellen zu können mussten wir immer mehrmals rufen bis er gekommen ist.

Das neue Pächterpaar Simonne und Massimo (sie betreiben bereits ein Restaurant in Brissago) haben dem Restaurant neues Leben eingehaucht. Mit gutem Geschmack wurde umdekoriert und das Bahnhofhallen-Gefühl ist weitgehend verflogen.Alle Speisen die wir durchprobiert haben sind lecker und von guter bis sehr guter Qualität. Die Speisekarte variiert nach Saison und es gibt täglich ein Menü.In der Hochsaison kann es während der Hauptzeiten schon mal zu Wartezeiten kommen.

Abbiamo mangiato, pizza, carne,risotto,gnocchi freschi e tagliatelle fresche allo scoglio tutto buonissimo , unica piccola pecca, la porzione delle tagliatelle allo scoglio, la porzione scarsa non eguaglia il prezzo offerto, ma come già accennato molto buono. E che dire dei dessert e gelati , buonissimi.Tutto viene presentato con raffinatezza ed eleganza. Il personale è tutto molto gentile e premuroso .La location è dentro il campeggio Tamaro e quando si è sulla terrazza si può godere del bellissimo verde che circonda il panorama è sembra di essere in vacanze e assapori relax . Wir waren auf dem Camping-Platz für drei Tage, gingen jeden Abend ins Restaurant Essen und waren für ein Restaurant auf dem Campingplatz sehr zufrieden. Der Service, Nett und zuvorkommend und was mir sehr wichtig ist Authentisch und Kongruenz und dies waren sie und nicht aufgesetzt freundlich "sehr gut"! Also Service, Freundlich, schnell & Professionell, also Perfekt! Das Essen, war "sehr gute Bürgerliche Küche" aber mit der kleinen Küche, mit der Vielzahl an Gerichten und vor allen der Schnelligkeit, darf man sagen das es Perfekt war und Hut ab mit dieser Schnelligkeit der Speisen bei einem vollen Restaurant. Wichtig, bei einem Campingplatz es sind Kinder Herzlich Willkommen mit guter Kinderkarte, Sirup kommt automatisch und Spielecke (müsste mal neues Spielzeug her!!)Weiter so!!!Wir kommen wieder!!!

Siamo stati da voi sabato 13 aprile per scoprire il nuovo team e la cucina. Sottolineo che non siamo in campeggio ma ci piace frequentare il posto perché bello e i numerosi parcheggi ci permettono di raggiungervi facilmente. Siamo stati accolti con cortesia. Abbiamo mangiato la crema di asparagi e l’insalata di polipo e patate come antipasto, il galletto alla diavola e la tagliata di manzo al pepe della Vallemaggia come piatto forte, e concluso la cena col semifreddo agli amaretti e la crem brûlé fatti in casa. Tutto eccellente. Lo consigliamo e torneremo presto. Grazie mille
