Amazing dining experience. The salmon tartare is divine. An explosion of flavor. Visually and tastefully perfect. The discovery menu is really worth it. The flavors complement each other and combine wonderfully. The staff takes great care.

Full restaurant on All Saints' Day. All the rooms occupied and yet impeccable and attentive service, bearable wait despite an overloaded kitchen; but what a joy to be served with kindness. Large choice on the menu but each plate is well served and delicious. Frankly, this restaurant is well managed in every way. There were two of us and our choices were excellent and well presented. Difficult to summarise. I wanted a salad and the chef prepared one 'off menu' which was really excellent. A tip: don't order bottled still water. It cost 4.5 sf for a small bottle and the tap water tasted exactly the same. Nice local white wine. Slightly expensive but a. It's Switzerland and b. The specially prepared salad was really good.

1st experience with hunting really not great... the meat was elastic and did not come off the bone. These are things that happen, they offered to treat us to desserts. Finally billed...

It was just so good what we could choose to eat

We came to eat with our baby and we were very well received, the staff were very pleasant. The food is excellent and the service is top notch. The boss takes the time to come greet the customers and chat a few words. We will come back with pleasure. THANKS

Well, after about 10 months, why not go eat. Every time, I'm forgotten 89 francs starter, meal 1 glass of wine, for my curried prawns, I'm still waiting for my fries. Thank you, but this isn't the first time.

Mixed meal.. If the terrace is very nice and the food was simple but good (especially the quality of the meat), the service was not up to par. Often had to follow up with the waitresses to get the dishes and especially put them out just after 11 p.m. (so not late at all). After bringing the bill everything was closed and all the staff left while we had the last drink on the terrace. As a result, left alone on the terrace, it was no longer possible to go to the toilet and everything remained in place on the terrace and into the night. 1st time this has happened to us and not at all professional. Basically, pay and go...

The service is as good as the food, very good and careful. Small, somewhat dark room for dining but pretty little lamps give a slightly romantic atmosphere. I advise.

The blue cooking beef sirloin: 2 nice little pieces, very thick but rather too firm when cut, obviously not better when chewing (and this is not in relation to the cooking, but to the meat itself) with dry parts when chewing. Valais apricot sorbet: with a mysterious eau-de-vie with a kind of "plastic" taste... I was shown a bottle of eau-de-vie from a distillery in Willisau (LU) and, according to explanation received, they do have apricot from the Morand distillery but it would be a shame to use it in sorbet...!?! So ultimately not a "Valaisan" sorbet as indicated for this sorbet at Fr. 12.50, left almost intact on the table because this "eau de vie" was simply bad. In my opinion it was not even Willisau apricotine, in fact the bottle presented was not opened. I give it a 3 out of 5, I hesitated with a 2 but the setting is pleasant.

Honestly, the meat is a real killer. This quality is incredible. Wakyu beef a few weeks ago to die for and the hunting a few days ago just excellent! Waitresses so nice and the boss a real Pro. Soon at Gault et Millau? The bad reviews are from before the new team for sure!

Good food but lousy service, no organization. Waited more than 45 minutes before having a drink. Very very slow, unapologetically. Didn't have dessert or coffee because after the main meal, they finally came after 35 minutes...

This restaurant is an unexpected surprise. The food is AMAZING. I have been very impressed by every meal I've had here. And the prices are very reasonable. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, and the staff members are very friendly and helpful. My husband and I come here often, and would recommend it to anyone who lives in, or is visiting, the area. Recommended by several people, we tried the experience of prawns galore on Monday. You have to know the boss to be simply greeted, we were at the table next to his acquaintances and he simply did not calculate us. After 2 aperitifs and 1 dish to share, we order our prawns with 1/2 bottle of wine. We ask for 1 carafe of water and the annoyed sleeper says that we don't serve that at their house. We had ordered other drinks, so some Grangeard tap water that I have been drinking for over 40 years....Where is the abuse?!?! Our prawns arrived, taste not exceptional, quantity...we barely filled the waste plate while at our neighbors it was overflowing...We were served before we could even ask for extra... . Positive points: Friendly sommelier despite a lot of waiting. Delicious olive oil on the aperitif salad. I was still able to drink the glass of water requested and served with my husband's coffee. Small consolation, we will not return there.
