The food was delicious and the service was quick, we were satisfied..

Had a great meal with the family yesterday. Lots of different dishes and, as always, everyone was completely satisfied. Looking forward to next time 👌 Enjoyed everything again with 2 large groups in the last 14 days👍 Once again very tasty in a small group, very great, feels so good after all the corona restrictions, so free to go to the restaurant and the newly prepared dishes are great

Very efficient service but the pizzas are not very good and above all, it is way too expensive. The calzone was not cooked. We paid CHF 120.10 for 1 beer, 1 mocktail, 2 salads and 3 pizzas. No wine, no meat, no dessert or coffee! Excessive!!!

My calzone was cold in the middle. I asked to recook it, without problem. fast and very expeditious service. welcome glass of fruit juice at 12.- without alcohol. generally too expensive. 20% too expensive min. I recommend medium.

The Restaurant Riviera is an insider tip in Aarau for great and fast service. Excellent cuisine, with many delicious menus and desserts. When the weather is nice, you can enjoy your meal outside on the beautiful large terrace. We'll definitely come back. It was a very nice, cozy evening that left nothing to be desired.

25fr 2 wafer-thin slices of meat cheese and a handful of fries. In the winter they wanted to offer us a table outside several times because of work clothes even though we had a reservation.

Really good pizza, the salad for the starter was also good, but quite cold, so well prepared and straight from the fridge to the table. The restaurant is rather cramped and quite loud. Very friendly service and quick service. To get to the toilet you have to go behind the counter and then through a narrow corridor, the toilet can only be reached via steps.

The soul of the Riviera is without a doubt the great service team. They somehow managed to find a spot for us (no reservations) on a Saturday evening despite the restaurant being overcrowded. Although they were constantly racing, they all remained very friendly and in a good mood and pampered the guests with courteous, personal and fast service. Food was really good, when it came to service we had the feeling that the lady wasn't very happy in her job, our table was right next to a service table and the ashtrays were emptied into an open container, we often had the smell of the ashtray in our noses. For non-smokers like us it was very unpleasant and unappetizing.

The service is lightning fast and very friendly. The “waiting time” for the food was also very short. The selection of dishes is varied and delicious. We'd love to come back.

The food was good, but that was the only thing, even if the edge of the pizza was burnt. The service was very unfriendly. The employees audibly gossiped behind the guests' backs. The cutlery and placemat we received were covered in oil splatters and sticky and were pretty disgusting. After we got the desert menu, the waitress made us wait for more than 20 minutes, after which we decided to pay and leave. We didn't complain on site because we felt very uncomfortable there and we just wanted to leave. Ate there once and never again!

Very nice and welcoming place with friendly and competent staff. Dinner with family based on pizza cooked in a wood oven. The pizza dough is very good. The seasoning is certainly made with quality products and in the right quantity (if a little you can't taste it but if too much it won't cook the dough well). I will definitely come back to try the cuisine because the dishes I saw looked very good and smelled good. Super recommended!!!

Our favorite restaurant, especially on the terrace in summer. Food was great, especially pizza like in Italy. Price performance very good. I miss the Italian espresso, this is more geared towards Switzerland.

I ate in this restaurant and I'm not happy with everything, it's absolutely a scam. The boss is aggressive and has no professionalism whatsoever. The dishes are extremely expensive for 4 pieces of chicken chasing each other. The dishes are not fresh but bathed in oil to create an illusion, the service is lousy, too expensive for what it is, it is not clean in terms of hygiene, I have the impression that They really cheat, I strongly advise against it, you would be downright disappointed.

We arrived on a Saturday after being turned away at the restaurant next door, where we are actually regulars, because all the tables were supposedly full (although this wasn't entirely true - but unfortunately the management there changed a few months ago and it's no longer quite there). as before). There was also a lot going on in the Riviera! When we asked for a place for 2 people, Asi pulled out all the stops so that we could get a place. Yes, we sometimes go to the Riviera for something to eat, but I wouldn't call us regulars. So many thanks to Asi for making this possible - we were really happy about it. This also shows real hospitality - they also tried to find a solution for guests who arrived a little later. Great I hope the Riviera keeps this attitude. Our thanks again to Asi.

A really great restaurant. One of the few that is open on Sunday evenings in the "ultra-conservative" Aarau :-) The pizza and pasta look very good and very tasty! They used to have a great Cordon Bleu, which unfortunately no longer exists! The "substitute schnitzel" is not recommended...it looks and tastes a bit artificial! But who eats schnitzel at an Italian restaurant ;-)

On Saturday evening we met up with our friends at Riviera (birthday dinner). We had made a reservation by phone, but the waitress wasn't informed about it and rolled her eyes in front of us. We were served very unfriendly by her. Although the restaurant is open until 12:00 a.m., she very intrusively wanted to collect money at around 9:00 p.m. and said that she had overtime and therefore wanted to go home earlier - very unprofessional! We didn't feel comfortable. It's a shame that the serving daughter doesn't represent the great food and the beautiful location. - Never again!
