Rosinli in Bäretswil

First of all, forget the old reviews, because they are owed to the previous operator and should actually be deleted. Since the new team took over, it's been a great place to visit. Well-positioned, friendly and with courteous service, they ensure that no wishes remain unfulfilled. Lovingly arranged decorations and of course the wonderful view ensure a feel-good atmosphere in a class of its own. And of course the little ones don't miss out with all the different play options (the slide also delights the child in the man / woman :-)). In short, a place that I can only recommend and is worth a visit at any time!

Very friendly, courteous and attentive staff. I felt very welcome. Warm and cozy decoration. The food was very delicious (crispy chicken with salad and seasoned French fries), as well as the BEST Rosé from Doubt with the ambience of a beautiful sunset. So if you go there on a sunny day, you can sit out and serve at the kiosk and it's just such a good vibe. The view is fantastic, there is plenty of seating and the prices are really reasonable. I can highly recommend it.

Significantly better under new management than before. Friendly staff and the best cappucino! I can't judge the food (yet). But the other guests' plates look delicious and the waiting times are short (restaurant was pretty full, outside area also busy). What certainly needs to be renewed is the play area. The previous tenants actually should have done that...

A wonderful place to stop and be, not just for gnomes (photo)! The fog hasn't completely cleared away today, but even when the weather is moderately good, Rosinli is always worth a trip. It's great that Rosinli has found such good new tenants! Very friendly service. Delicious meal. Cozy place to stay.

On a normal Thursday (the internet says it's open) I called the Rosinli restaurant at 11 a.m. and in the afternoon and wanted to ask whether they still had places available for dinner next Friday? There seems to be no one responsible for the phone, so I made a reservation at another restaurant, which worked great. Next time I will call another restaurant to make a reservation.

Good food (great Cordon Bleu!), excellent coffee, draft beer and a unique, quiet location with a view of the Alps and three lakes. Always worth a visit, even in bad weather!

Beautifully located in the forest, the inn offers a pleasant atmosphere and a good view over the valley and 3 lakes. Can't say anything about the food because I only drank coffee and it was good.

A very nice place to be and enjoy, also great for children as there is a lot to discover, whether the forest around it or the cool slide and much more. The tarte flambée was great, the service was very friendly and helpful. I remember Rosinli from my childhood, so great that it still exists

Really nice area to have a beer there in the evening

I think it's beautifully decorated here, very inviting, the last time I ate a tarte flambée, it was great.

I started with Nordic walking in Hittnau and then walked to the Rosinli restaurant. The climb is tough but easy to run. The last part goes through the forest and then to the playground to the Rosinli restaurant. I went to order and ordered a large Weizebräu. The service was quick and friendly. I looked for a good spot with a view of Wetzikon. The Weizenbräu was wonderfully fresh and tasted very good. I took my time and was able to enjoy the Weizenbräu in peace, right down to the last sip. The table decoration consisted of flower pots and funny “mandli” and a beautiful runner. I finished the wheat brew and packed my things. I was able to take the beer glass with me and put it in a clearance cart. Environmentally friendly. In any case, I'll still come here with my wife. Highly recommended.

I've made a reservation to try out the food there. If that's as good as the friendliness of the staff and the loving facilities, nothing can go wrong.

Nice Swiss conditions. Card payment is possible. Very nice view and a standard ice cream selection. Also has a good fire pit and playground.

Finally you will receive a friendly welcome in this beautiful place and the furnishings have been renewed. Prices tend to be at the upper limit.

Positive: The ambience. The staff is also nice. Negative: Price/performance is not right in any way! Mixed salad small 8.50. Large salad bowl 19.50! The small one was almost as big as the big one. But “mixed” was practically only green! We have enjoyed coming here in recent years and a mixed salad was huge with various fresh salads! We definitely won't be coming to eat again. The menu is also more on the "fried and sausage" side. It's a shame! I wanted to tell the boss personally, but he wasn't there anymore.

After a hike or something like that, you will be welcomed by a friendly, uncomplicated and hands-on team. For food and drink is taken care of.

When the weather is nice, it's simply fantastic with a view of the Alps, Lake Zurich, Greifensee and Pfäffikersee. Very nice staff and good food. The new benches and the “lounge” invite you to linger. Also very suitable with children, as the playground has almost everything to offer. Gladly again

We were on a spring hike across Rosinli with 50 children and wanted to have a barbecue and have a lunch break near the restaurant. Unfortunately we were very unlucky with the weather and were already soaking wet and freezing by midday. The Rosinli team spontaneously provided us with a room to warm up and provided us with warm drinks. The children (and adults too) were very happy about this and the mood noticeably improved. Thank you very much for your uncomplicated and warm manner!

You can clearly see the change in the new host. The remaining part of the benches outside was replaced. The front part was replaced with new seating. And the boss even fulfills special requests 😁

High up on a mountain and the view is great and the climb isn't even that difficult.

Yesterday we walked up to your Rosinli for the first time. We knew that new tenants had been taking over since January 2023. Wonderful view already on the climb. Then the first look at your pretty, cozy mountain inn with its benches and the particularly long, rustic slide. Very comfortable inside too, please don't change anything! We chose a super fine white wine (assemblage of 3 varieties). Fantastic and very fair price. Plus two tarte flambées with raclette cheese on top. Goed well with the wine. Very nice service. We would like to come back soon. The atmosphere at sunset was simply overwhelming. Keep it up! We can only highly recommend you!!!

Homely location with great innkeepers

You feel warmly welcome with the new tenant and his team. Rustic atmosphere with a great view over the Züri Oberland. We enjoyed a raclette chat for lunch. Was very tasty and cozy. Invites you to linger.

Waiting in line for a long time at the kiosk, it didn't move and didn't move forward. Far too expensive, the coffee in a paper cup was CHF 4.50 and the almond croissant was still frozen inside, so nothing fresh, CHF 4.00. For comparison, in a well-known Oberland bakery with an adjoining coffee shop, I get the coffee served with dishes for CHF 4.40 and the fresh almond croissants that come with it cost CHF 2.80. Too bad ☹

Beautifully furnished restaurant, friendly staff and a great view..

Super authentic host and rustically furnished. It's nice that new momentum has been brought in. Would recommend everyone to take a look here. The menu is still small, but everything tasted great.

New host, a good start. Hopefully people will finally invest in the area, the play equipment and benches are falling apart, a shame for what is actually a very beautiful place.

Been there many times as a child. What a disappointment. Broken benches, the whole area was overgrown and totally unkempt. It used to be a nice place. Prices for self-service were too expensive. There were almost no guests. The landlord didn't even greet us. You don't feel at all welcome.Friendliness doesn't cost anything.Not recommended.

This really is a nice restaurant for excursions. Broken benches. Not at all offensive. Am very sad. I grew up there.

The playground is a disaster, and yet money is still being taken out of visitors' pockets to run the carousel and the children's excavator. The maintenance of the playground is an absolute disaster; I have never found so many defects on the site as here. In order to get on the (beam) swing and use it, you need a ladder!

The conditions at the checkout are very unfriendly. It annoys me when people serve me so listlessly. The rest Well, the children can run around and it's good. Nice view to sit.

An easy and beautiful hike with wonderful views. There are many ways to get to Rosinli. It also has a playground.

A lot of things are worn out and dilapidated. Great view. Unfortunately, that's not enough to be a good restaurant.

Great view. PP in front of the house. Staff at the kiosk friendly. Lots of tables with plenty of shade and a view of Lake Pfäffikersee. Hence the two points. Otherwise everything here is rather dingy. Some of the tables were broken. The terrace has many stumbling blocks. The slide is not in operation due to the weather (full of sunshine at 20 degrees). But I'm also happy, the risk of injury would be too high for me. The climbing frame shakes. The swings squeak so loudly that even the children are tired of them. A test should be done here!! It's a shame really. If the children are busy and happy, sales in the store increase because the parents can consume more. In any case, we weren't there long. The children are bored and I don't feed the carousels, of which there are four of them here.

A nice destination that is easily accessible for everyone on foot or by car. There are plenty of parking spaces just below the building. The outdoor kiosk has all food and drinks. The prices are fair. The staff is very polite and open. But the best thing is the view over the Züri Oberland. Top !

Parking in front of the house and in the direction of the restaurant. Outside area with some tables. A little motley thrown together. But more than enough for the summer. Great view! Great destination for families with small children, as it has a small playground and the forest starts right behind the house. Everyone is sure to find something to eat and drink and then take a walk in the beautiful surroundings. All in all, a good destination for everyone.

Atmosphere very nice, food fine

A week ago we were able to enjoy the sun and sit outside. Even though the wind was whistling around our ears, we were able to enjoy a delicious bratwurst.

This place is just gorgeous with a good view, an outdoor kiosk with simple dishes.
