Basically, I know Rossbüchel as a clean, upscale restaurant. However, the quality drops a lot. We had ordered 2 apple strudels and still got 3. (one per person). That in itself is still possible. Unfortunately we had the feeling that our dessert was frozen. There were nuts in the apple strudel, which wasn't mentioned on the menu. Unfortunately, the restaurant itself was dirty. There were liquids on the floor. I'm really sorry, but it really pissed me off. In the future I will avoid Rossbüchel and go to Treichli if I want to enjoy a beautiful view in a quiet atmosphere.

Fantastic view of Lake Constance and the mountains

Dear Rossbüchel team Yesterday we requested a table for 4 people at short notice and we have a table “upstairs”? receive. We have known the Rossbüchel for several years with the lower terrace and the upper guest room. However, a company was present there and we were escorted “upstairs”. We've never been there before...a seminar room..cold (the toilet was warmer and more nicely decorated)...uncomfortable..without decoration or any nice ambience. No music and no other guests except for a late ski group...We had our guest with us and we were honestly ashamed of it. We should have turned around at the door but had no other option so spontaneously. As always, the food was of very good quality and the service was courteous and friendly. Dear Rossbüchel! Please never offer this room for dinner again. It's better not to take it... Best regards Fam. Next .

As a family we went to the Rossbüchel restaurant on the beautiful Fünfländerblick. The view is absolutely fantastic and we are looking forward to being able to enjoy it outside on the restaurant terrace next summer. The food was delicious, the salad was fresh and crunchy, the cordon bleue was unfortunately too oily and the price/performance was OK. The decoration was appropriate, the room is bright and not too loud, despite the space being completely occupied. The ambience is very harmonious with the cozy fireplace and the service staff did a good job. We will definitely come again.

Warm hospitality and excellent service experience! Our trip with 42 school children to the Rossbüchel restaurant was a wonderful experience that we would like to share! Despite the unpleasant weather (heavy rain), we were warmly welcomed by sensational service staff. The staff at the Rossbüchel restaurant really looked after our group, especially the children who arrived soaked and cold. The attentiveness and friendliness of the staff made our visit special. The culinary side was equally impressive. The delicious drinks and fine desserts spoiled our palate. A big thank you to the entire team at the Rossbüchel restaurant for their hospitality and the positive atmosphere. It was nice to see how flexible and caring the staff was with 42 5./6. graders dealt with. We are grateful that we were able to come and are already looking forward to our next visit. Amazing location and breathtaking views over Constance lake and Germany! Very tasty game options! The prices may be slightly overpriced but it's reasonable since you "pay" for the view as well. Perfect place for an apero on the terrace. I would definitely go back again!

For the breathtaking view on the Constance lake, this place is a must. From the outside terrasse up to the inside room of the restaurant, the lake is there at your feet. The restaurant card is rich and the food is very good. A modern, rationally thought building, as often in Switzerland.

Very nice place with gigantic views and good food. The service team is very prompt and organized.

So my friend didn't get a knife with her salsiz and vegetable bowls with bread and butter. After asking, another 5 minutes passed until a knife was brought. She was gone so quickly that we couldn't even ask for a fork for the vegetables.

A very nice place to eat with breathtaking views. The dishes were very good and beautifully presented. The only thing that bothered me was that the service was a little too quick in serving the individual dishes. You should take time to enjoy a restaurant like this. I would still love to come back. Wow! What an amazing place!! The route to Rossbüchel was a bit adventurous for us flatlanders ;-). Once we got up there, we found a parking space without any problems on Saturday afternoon. The view is unique! Of course the weather cooperated! Service and food were terrific! Conclusion: definitely go, even if it's just for a cappuccino on the terrace!!

The first time I went out to eat was with my partner and the second time was with a wedding party. I was very satisfied both times! Very friendly service, good food and the best thing is the view. (And if you're lucky, you can spot deer from the forest next door.)

We just stopped by for a coffee since we had lunch already.. but very impressive place, overlooking Romanshorn in the Bodensee.. very clean and relaxing.they have very spacious indoor and outdoor seating.

Update April 22, 2023: We were guests in this great restaurant again today. We received a warm welcome again and were not disappointed with the food. It was excellent again. Very good food. Staff very friendly and accommodating. Facility kept simple Payment in cash and well-known payment cards possible. Tip: It's best to make a reservation, and if you have a starter and a main course, you should take a small portion if possible for the main course. Salad and soup are common portions and you could be full before the starter alone. And if you order the Rossbüchel Plättli in the afternoon, it's enough for two people. Great view during the day when the weather is nice. In the evening there is a very special atmosphere with the lights of the individual cities.

Very nice, tastefully decorated restaurant with a great view over Lake Constance. In the immediate vicinity of the #Fünfländerblick, the #viewpoint, where there is also a cozy #chapel. Kafi was good. Service was friendly, but it took a little long until we were served. The only point of criticism: Strange, undefinable smell in the restaurant, which was unpleasant.

Always very free food and very courteous service. The view is unbeatable.

Everything's good so far, but serving the really tasty fish crispies and the accompanying salad in two punch bowls is impractical for the guest because they can't cut the crispy fish in the punch bowl.

I think the restaurant as well as the management and employees are great :-)) I go there regularly at different times on different days of the week - have eaten here and also come for a drink after running/hiking. I always receive very friendly service - even when it's stressful :-) Management and employees do their best and work at full speed - not just functionally, but with heart, professionalism and personality 🥰 - on 12, 13 hour days without a break on weekends. I don't know whether individual visitors who only experience 1 facet in 1 situation are aware of what they are doing with a negative Google review - without knowing whether it is justified in the overall picture - and what such a negative criticism is, perhaps completely unjustified - with people who have done a lot of valuable work for 13 hours a day. I take my hat off to the management and all employees who endure this stress in friendly continuity and express my greatest appreciation and compliments to them 👌😊🫶

It's a shame for the beautifully located restaurant. We sat in the restaurant for about 20 minutes. 2 service staff walked past us at least 2 times or 3 times and tended to the neighboring tables. Then the boss? He passed us carelessly and cleared the next table and didn't even look at us. 5 minutes later the next table was moved in and no attention was paid to us as new guests? My partner had had a very successful business in the catering sector for over 45 years. Too much of a good thing, we got up and left. That's definitely not how you make yourself popular. Ps. We would have understood everything if the company had been full. But not like this!

The location is TOP. The waiter could have concentrated a bit more on his work instead of arguing with his friends. Although he apologized for making us wait to be served, which is a plus, you could clearly see the nervousness on the other guests' faces. On the other hand, the cook/cook's assistant was great, very interested and extremely friendly. The food was very tasty.

Had a coffee here with a colleague today. Location and furnishings of the restaurant are great. You can really feel comfortable there. Unfortunately, the hospitality was a little disappointing. We were the only guests. We got the coffee and after that we didn't see any waiters again. He came once to light the candles, but even then you didn't ask if everything was okay or if you wanted anything else. The empty coffee cups were also ignored. But you could hear private phone calls the whole time. Later, a man in a suit walked through the restaurant (I assume the boss) but he didn't say hello or anything. Then we didn't order any more food and left.

I've just been a bit disappointed, the restaurant was quite full and extremely warm. Nice weather outside, asked at the buffet if I could take a cafe outside with me and pay straight away. The answer was NO. Reason because more people would otherwise want to sit outside??? This probably wouldn't be a problem with self-service.

Very inattentive service. We were deliberately ignored in our bike clothes. The menu was only brought to us after the third request. Then no one wanted to take our order. We then left without ordering food.

Dishes weren't very special... Even I can make the croissants with minced meat better and the cordon bleu used to be great, but now it's average. Too expensive for what you end up with on your plate.
