Sunday January 14th, 2024. Had dinner at Rössli with my wife. Only 6 people in the restaurant. We had to wait 55 minutes for our food! Ris Casimir, the rice was completely overcooked and there was hardly any meat in the dish. Rice wasn't even seasoned. Cordon bleu with French fries and vegetables. Cordon bleu OK Fries only half baked, soggy and lukewarm. Vegetable garnish, 2 carrot sticks and 3 Brussels sprouts and still cold. Unseasoned vegetables and also the fries without salt. An apology from the management: false alarm... The food that was served to us was an absolute disgrace and the waiting time was unreasonable. Will avoid the Rössli in the future.

I was there around lunchtime during the week when I was initially surprised that there was only one selection of weekly menus, which isn't necessarily a big deal. I ordered a pork fillet with hollandaise sauce, croquettes and vegetables. The vegetables were 2-3 carrots and 1-2 broccoli, very small. The croquettes could be counted on one hand. Pork fillet was very tasty and well fried, only the sauce tasted of absolutely nothing, some of it also contained chunks of the sauce thickener or something similar (poorly stirred?) It was quite disappointing because I only heard good things. The service, on the other hand, was quite nice, although not 10/10. I don't know whether it's due to Corona or something else. I also didn't get an answer as to when you can choose your own menus other than these weekly menus. For me the menu was really 1 star out of 5 stars, I give it 1 star because the service was okay. I hope next time it will be as everyone has described it to me.
