Royal Oriental in Meyrin

Very poor service, very expensive and not very professional and please do not waste your time money !

My experience at the Royal Oriental was disappointing. There are no children's chairs, the service was poor and the food did not meet my expectations of Persian cuisine. I ordered Kubideh but received something that looked more like an Afghan kebab and didn't look or taste like the expected dish. The Dough was undrinkable, with a taste reminiscent of diluted water. The portions were small and appeared to be intended for children's portions. It appears that savings are being made on ingredients at the Royal Oriental, while prices remain high. Using substandard ingredients is unacceptable, especially at these prices. I will not return to the Royal Oriental.

One of the best Persian Restaurants, of course the famous Koobideh Kabab is Super. Service is ok, price is ok.

We had their lamb beryani, chicken beryani, butter chicken and curry chicken. All tasted pretty good but the butter chicken was a bit sweet for our liking. We also ordered a pot of Arabian tea which quite good. Service was reasonably fast.

My Gulf brothers, I would like to tell you: run away. Our reservation was at 8:30 in the evening. We ordered chicken and they said there was no chicken in the store. We ordered okra and they said there was none. We ordered a dog and they said there was none! We said, "No problem, maybe the rest of the orders are excellent, but unfortunately, there is no food, no service, no atmosphere, nothing, and on top of that, the prices are exaggerated, and the delay is exaggerated!" I gave the service five stars because Nour, the Lebanese woman, was trying to moderate the issue and serve us to the best of her ability. Thank you, Nour 🙏🏼

Had dinner after a very long and stressful day: I've delicious food and very kind service in a pleasant ambience

Unfortunately, I ordered soup and it had hair in it The kebab was very bad, as was the chicken It used to be excellent, but now it is very bad and the price is normal, but it is forbidden to pay any price for this type of bad food.

My wife and I's flight home was canceled, but this restaurant made the extra day a wonderful experience. The food is very authentic and flavorful. I had the lamb kabab koobideh which was very good and my wife had the chicken brest kabab. The service was great. Our water also provided fresh baklava on the house. A bit pricey, but well worth the experience. I'm glad we stopped by this gem. Plus it's halal, which was perfect for us!

The restaurant serve a traditional Iranian food with high quality its one of the best in the area and its recommended we tried the kobeidah kabab and assorted mezzah and some okra stew and end it with iranian tea and some baklava and the server was so friendly and professional

Excellent restaurant the best Persian food in Geneva and possibly Switzerland , owner was very very friendly and knew Arabic English Persian and French which made it very easy to order , wide range of menu items suitable for even the pickiest of eaters . kids are very well accommodated and welcomed which was very nice too thank you for this experience!

An Iranian restaurant serves oriental food, but at the time we arrived there were not many orders, so we ordered for the group grilled chicken, rice, appetizers, and edamame okra. It was considered delicious in taste, but it needed to raise the refrigeration temperature because it was relatively hot.

The restaurant is strange, imaginative, and sweet. It is the first sweet restaurant and is similar to the levels of Kuwaiti restaurants in Switzerland. Delicious. Don’t think. Go and eat.

I swear to God Almighty, if I come to Geneva again, I will eat nothing but the taste is very, very delicious, the quantity is plentiful, the workers are very nice, the average price per person is approximately 38 francs, and the place is spacious and quiet. I highly recommend it.

The food was worst. Cannot explain it more than the worst be King from Canada to try some Persian food. The decoration of the food was really good but the food tasted so bad and the smell of the meat was there was not cooked properly. We regretted going there. I wish we wouldn’t go there. Do not recommend this place at all. The food was really expensive and we only had one bite of the food and we left. The food was extremely bad.

Iranian restaurant The food was delicious and the waiter Naveed was professional, kind and generous. We ordered Sultani kebab for each of us and the plate is enough for one person. It is rice with two skewers of kebab. I wanted to honor Mr. Naveed and give him the usual tip (tipping), but he refused. The price is very fair despite its high price, given that all of Geneva and Switzerland are expensive.

This is the first time I tried Iranian and it was delicious. I ordered zarkash and sultani kebab, and they did not have the smell of rancid chicken, which I always smell in Lebanese and Turkish restaurants. We ordered a mixed salad, I forgot its name, but it contained hams and Iranian mixtures. After that, the waiter gave us Iranian tea as hospitality. This is the first time I tried it and I will definitely try it again. First time trying Iranian food and it was on point! I ordered Kebab soltani Zereshkpolo ba Morgh And appetizer sample (i forget it’s name) And it was delicious, after that we got an Iranian tea as (hospitality) with Saffron and it was like drinking in Tahran or Morocco something like that lol.

The food was not fresh and the quantity is on enough for one person. The price also did not justified with quantity and quality.

Bad, bad, beyond the degree of rice and kebab, all bytes.. The food was heated and it was brought. We visited it because of the reviews, but by God Almighty, the food was not able to be eaten, and the cost was 130 francs. The meat has taste and smell, and I wish it was cooked.

It's not worth the price the koubideh is good but small compared to other restaurants we took a mixed plate for 4 people with 4 koubideh 2 chicken fillets and 2 veal fillets except that there was no more veal. There were 3 kinds of rice but it was not enough for 4 people. We had to ask for bread and there was no sauce and no butter on the koubideh. The price on the site is wrong, a koubideh plate with rice is 34.- and we paid 150.- for the mixed plate

Recently, we had one of the worst experiences in this restaurant. We were a group of 45 ladies who had made a reservation several days in advance for dinner. The reservation was made only after we were assured by the restaurant that they will be able to manage the dinner for 45 participants. We were constantly in contact with the management of the Restaurant on the selection of menu as well as number of guests. A member of the group reached the Restaurant an hour before the time to check the arrangements. She was surprised to see that the restaurant did not have the capacity or resources to serve 45 guests. Even the seating arrangements were not adequate. The food was served two hours late by the restaurant even though the menu had been selected well in advance. In addition, the food was insufficient. The restaurant staff continued to serve other guests, while ignoring the group of 45 ladies. After this rather usual experience, we have decided not to visit the restaurant again in the future.
