The Pad Thai was great, lovely restaurant in the center of Thalwil.

I had high expectations based on the reviews but was unfortunately disappointed. The food was ok, but nothing special. My dish came without a side dish, which I find rather unusual. The fried rice that I then ordered cost me a whopping CHF 12.50! Definitely too much! PS: don't choose a place by the window, strong drafts 😒

Service makes it all the more special. And, this place, especially the elderly gentleman, was kind, patient to explain everything as per dietary needs. We had a great time dining here, and that showed when every morsel of food was thoroughly enjoyed. You have some great options for a vegetarian.

I have eaten in many Thai restaurants in Switzerland. This one is simply the best. Very authentic with an upmarket style and a outstanding service.

We had to wait almost an hour. The guests next to us quickly got food and drinks. Even though we had placed the order first! The employees kept coming by, but no one took a look at us! But there weren't that many visits. I was at the end of my patience, I went to the checkout and asked how long we had to wait for this? And I saw our order there, we got the dishes right after I asked. Of course the food wasn't that warm anymore. The portions were small and not special.

We were a family of four and had lunch there to celebrate my husband’s birthday. My kids loved the bit-size spring rolls and fried rice. While my husband and I had the lunch menu that were reasonably priced. The food was fresh and delicious! And the service was excellent, it was exactly the Thai hospitality you get in Thailand. We will be back again! :)

The restaurant is located 2 minutes from the main street and the lakeside promenade. Wide choice of first and second courses. I recommend the Nudeln with chicken and vegetables. The environment is quiet and very bright, I would only recommend eliminating the artificial orchids to make room for the natural ones :) You can book your table online at least one day in advance. Their Goong Pong Garee, Red curry, and Pad Thai (recipe is maintained for 18 years!) are our all-time favorites: not too sweet, not too salty, perfectly savory and deeply aromatic.
