The food was very good, there is a large selection of dishes, including special pizzas! It's worth being brave and trying something new! Service impeccable and very friendly. Definitely worth a visit.

Yay, finally, Tizi is back. (Luca, don't take it personally ;-) ) I feel at home at Moca and am happy with everything. Baba always said, “Doing right by all people is an art that no one can do”. You feel warmly welcome and comfortable at Moca right from the start. The service is very attentive and extremely hospitable. The evening menu has many special dishes and combinations to offer, really great. I had a very tasty Parmiggiana as a starter, followed by the sensational Pizza Moca (mortadella, burratina, pistachio cream, ...) and to top it all off, warm pizza dough balls with chocolate sauce... a dream! Thank you and very happy again!

The restaurant is run with heart. The menu offers both the classics and unusual culinary combinations. Definitely worth a visit.

We wanted to try out Moca under new management. When we made a reservation, we were turned away quite abruptly on the phone. We should please make a reservation via the homepage because they didn't have time because of the ongoing service. A reason that is of course understandable, but still led to some additional circumstances for us as guests. After we found the homepage (unfortunately, Google doesn't really list Moca yet and we had to try out various URLs on a random basis), the table reservation worked. The atmosphere in the restaurant was very pleasant and the menu with the wooden lids is a successful idea. Unfortunately the food wasn't particularly tasty. The salad had no noticeable salad dressing, but was marinated in tasteless oil (apparently not olive oil or something similar). The lasagne was on the bland side, but not bad either. The beef fillet itself was a very fine piece of meat (which is what you would expect for the price) and fried to perfection, but unfortunately it was drowned in all the oil in the pan in which it was served. The side dishes (French fries) were very tasty and originally prepared. Our service tried really hard, but somehow it was a bit strange. Immediately after asking what aperitif we would like, he turned to another table. While taking the order for the main course, his cell phone rang just as my friend had just started to order. He then went into the other room with the cell phone and left us a bit perplexed; After a short while he came back and then we were finally able to order. Of course, after the meal we honestly discussed the issues with all the oil and Luka responded really well and said he would pass it on to the kitchen. All of these points alone wouldn't be a problem, but as a whole the restaurant unfortunately didn't do well for us today. Edit March 9, 2024, reaction to the operator's answer: Thank you for your comment on the review. Our call came that evening at 8:23 p.m. We can definitely differentiate between herb butter and oil; The herb butter was on the meat and wouldn't have been the problem!

The left part of the restaurant is not as nice as the front. In the front there is more life, great atmosphere like in Italy. We eat there for Valentine's Day. Good portions of different pastas. Definitely come by in the summer.

Unfortunately an evening to forget. Unfortunately, the nice employee had to serve the entire room alone. The kitchen's timing was bad because we were already served the Cordon Bleus even though we still had salad on our plate. Apparently the cook made a mistake, because instead of the 2 Cordon Bleus and 3 other dishes ordered, the waitress wanted to bring 4 Cordon Bleus. She had previously been heard in the kitchen alerting the chef/owner to the mistake. Apparently he still wanted to try it and had the 4 Cordon Bleus served. He must also have started playing the Cordon Bleus very early, as they were almost cold when they arrived. The other 3 dishes came when we were almost finished. The vegetable plate was very varied, but without a filling side dish. Otherwise the food was OK, without standing out from other restaurants. The restaurant then kindly gave us a waiver of various drinks as compensation for the many mistakes. Although we took it with humor, we agreed that this was probably our last time here. A compliment to the employee, who really tried everything to manage the crowd. Unfortunately, in our opinion, not recommended.

Had our Christmas dinner there. We had two menus to choose from. The food was very good and sufficient. Dessert was fresh and very tasty. Toilets are very clean and well maintained.

UPDATE as of AUGUST 12, 2022: New tenant since the Ibo until about a year ago. I only know the current evening menu. It has a bit of everything. No pizza on the evening menu, I don't know what the menus and pizzas look like at lunchtime. In the evening it was more upscale gastronomy with nice meat, as I saw at the next table. Large wine list, but rather expensive. I tried the burger, which somehow appealed to me. Excellently put together with quite interesting, complementary components. Plus a hefeweizen. Despite the full outdoor area, the service was quick and friendly. I was satisfied and will come back. I'm also interested in the lunch service. If the quality of the evening service is the same, then the restaurant is worth a visit anyway.

Since switching to Muriel and her team, the Rütihof restaurant has grown incredibly! The ambience is simply beautiful, cozy and invites you to sit and sit. It is immediately noticeable that everything in this restaurant seems to be done with an incredible amount of love and exclusively for the benefit of the guests. On the well-considered and balanced menu, the selection of which is constantly adjusted, the excellently prepared dishes literally jump out at you. Small extra requests (e.g. Coup Colonel) will be fulfilled with joy, if possible. The charming and courteous service rounds off the experience perfectly. The price/performance ratio is well balanced and fair. I am very happy to award these 5 stars and am happy for everyone who treats themselves to a visit to the “Rütihof”!

If the Reschti is already full at half past six and they still make you four fine cordon bleu to take away, then that shows an admirable work ethic. I have already written here that the CB is one of the best around ;-)

03.10.2020 Ich und meine Familie wollten uns einen schönen Abend machen, da wir schön öfters da waren als der alter Pachter noch dort war waren wir uns sicher dass es immer noch gut wäre. Es war ganz anderst! 1. Die Preise sind erhöht und 2. die blonde Kellnerin war wirklich sehr unsympatisch, und 3. Das Essen war kalt! Ich komme nie wieder.. da gehe ich besser ins Erle, Bahnhöfli oder Linde.
