Best Après-Ski in Andermatt (I was there on a Saturday, it was magnificent). Crazy atmosphere and breathtaking view of the valley until sunset. You can also reach it on foot from the station in 5 minutes.

We were able to spend a great evening in the Rütihütte on our company ski weekend. The fondue was perfect and everything else was great. Sandra and her team thrilled us. We'd love to come back.

My family and I visited from California and decided to experience an authentic Swiss fondue — not one of those touristy fondues. Only the locals know (and now you do, too) that this ski chalet during-a-day transforms into an authentic Swiss restaurant at-night. So, we decided to try it after the recommendation of my friend. Without a doubt it was one of the best culinary experiences of of my life. Our journey started with walking up the mountain on a narrow, snow-covered path from the base of Andermatt. And when we thought the path ended, we spotted a barn. The hostess immediately greeted us by our last name. We ordered some drinks, cold-cuts, and a fondue. The both dishes were both incredible, bursting with rustic flavors. We def will be back for more! And, I really hope that you have a chance to experience this for yourself.

This is a comfortable lunch ski stop, well located right on the way down to the Nätschen gondola. Their Alplermaggronen is good as is the gulaschsuppe. Owned by folks with a nice place higher up on the mountain, the building used to be a stable for sheep.

Super cozy ski hut in the sun right on the valley run. Good food and good atmosphere.

Good food for in between skiing. Quite large portions, which also taste good. But that comes with a pretty hefty price.

Cool hut, great location, cozy. However, when I asked because I wanted to get Wienerli, the answer from service was: only for children... What a shame!! 🙈😝 Apparently it's better to sell nothing than to fulfill a guest's wish... no words needed...
