A place to feel comfortable from start to finish!! You come as a guest when you greet us and leave as a friend when you say goodbye.. Unique ambience with attention to detail and a lot of heart, I would love to come here again and again, the food is excellent. Short version: Family-friendly, local, good middle-class restaurant.

Food was great! There specialty is chicken and it was amazing but we also ordered other dishes and all really good too! I wish it stayed sunny in their terasse in the evening but unfortunately it gets a bit chilly after 19:30.

They had the best chicken in a basket also known as Poulet im Körbli that I ever had. I have been to a few restaurants by now but they could never match this one. I hope someday I can come back just to it the Poulet im Körbli again. It was a dream

The visit here resulted from a recommendation "If you want to eat the best chicken, then you definitely have to stop by Sager". No sooner said than done, after a successful but strenuous hike we looked for a nice spot here and were not disappointed. We were already there or outside of the main meal time (I have no idea if there is such a thing, in any case there was little or nothing going on) but we were still greeted warmly and the food didn't take long to arrive. The sauce is really really good, whether you like it under the chicken is up to you. Unfortunately, the chicken is fried and not grilled, at least that's how it seemed to us. But that's also understandable, you can't always grill chicken and then throw it away when no one comes. But it didn't really hurt the taste. We'll definitely come back again.

Since years we have lunch or dinner at this place, when we are on sports vacations in winter or hiking in summer. Very nice atmosphere and staff, fried chicken with the special homemade sauce is always a hit, although I prefer the sauce served separately and not directly over the chicken like last time. Worth to mention is the play room for kids. It makes a visit even more relaxing and enjoyable.
