Sagi in Wiesendangen

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Restaurant Sagi in Bertschikon and it was an extremely pleasant experience. Parking was convenient, the staff was friendly, and the food was delicious. I found the quality of the food particularly impressive. Although I think the cheese in the Cordon Bleu could have been a little more flavorful, the overall taste was still excellent. Prices are slightly higher than elsewhere, but the ambience and style of the restaurant make it totally worth the extra charge. Overall, I was very satisfied with my visit to Sagi Restaurant. The friendly atmosphere and delicious food convinced me that I would like to come back. I can only recommend it!

Very nice service, unfortunately the waiting times are a bit long. Unfortunately, price/performance is not that good, the food is rather expensive compared to other restaurants. I've had better food for less money.

The seating is way too close, so loud that you can no longer hear the people sitting next to you. Absolutely uncomfortable and terrible restaurant. The food was greasy and salty and completely overpriced.

Food is good but not extremely good. Codronbleu has a cheese that is far too mild and I have eaten better in many places. The service is great.

Went for a drink and a quick visit. Were served friendly.

Good afternoon, the food was excellent, the service was great, they brought me 2 pillows (back problems) and at the end my partner received a birthday serenade, it was her birthday that day, we were very happy about the gesture. I don't think it's a given, but it still exists. A big thank you to all the staff and the chef. We will come back Best regards C.B.

Went there for lunch for three. On the homepage it was announced for CHF 22. In the restaurant there was only a menu for 36 CHF. Then we ate from the menu. The veal cordon bleu for CHF 45, touted as a classic, was the cheapest frozen food with a floury cheese filling!!! Almost inedible. We also said this on site. The only reaction was a shrug of the shoulders. The other 2 dishes were also moderately good: supposedly homemade spaetzli with a tofu alternative: spaetzli seemed anything but homemade, for the fact that it is advertised among the game dishes for a whopping CHF 34, at least 1 vegetable side dish like red cabbage or something was missing! We were there once in the summer, and back then the food was on a completely different level. It was good back then. Price/performance is currently underground! We also reported our feedback personally by email on the same day: no response!!! Conclusion: It's been a long time since I've eaten so expensively and so badly!

Absolute favorite restaurant! The food is always great, the service is friendly and competent. There is a playground for the little ones and the restaurant has charm. I would love to come back!

My food was good, but my partner's was not consistently good. Twice the lady who served us walked away from our table in the middle of our order. We'll still come back because of the nice atmosphere.

Unfortunately I still have to write something, 10 people were there for dinner at 7 p.m. The lady who served us was an absolute disaster. First she picked up the drinks and we told her what we wanted, after 15 minutes she came back and asked again for the drinks? It then took a full 40 minutes before we could order the food, but only after we had complained. All in all, after 1 hour and 30 minutes we had our food on the table. Given the price-performance ratio, which is on the upper side, it will be possible to hire trained staff.

Had a family reunion there, sat outside was wonderful, everything went perfectly. I'd love to come back

Friendly, courteous service, fine home-style, excellent cuisine, Swiss wines are a bit expandable, (red and white) otherwise nothing to complain about.

Very friendly staff. Large winter garden, a bit noisy when there are a lot of guests. Cozy inside. Fitness plate and beef tartare are very good. Large parking lot. Reservation required as it is usually busy.

We always like to eat at Sagi. Today we all had Egli Knusperli - it was delicious. The fresh salad and the house dressing and the fine garlic sauce rounded the whole thing off. The service was friendly, but nothing more. The dessert I ordered strawberries were so sour that I had to ask for sugar. The location is a dream - 10 stars

Very unfriendly staff in the winter garden!!!

The starter, tomato soup, was fine. But the fried chicken breast was really not a tasty piece. Neither tender nor with the taste of chicken. Very compact when biting, reminiscent of old turkey. My inquiry revealed that the piece comes from Hungary! It's a shame that a renowned restaurant needs this!

Once again we were very spoiled with a culinary, tasty dinner. And this time it even worked really well with the PP for our motorhome. Thank you very much for that, and we will definitely come back.

Very friendly service and fine food

Food was very good. We had very, very long waiting times. We waited over 2 hours for the main course. Unfortunately, things didn't go any faster after that. It was clear to us that there would be more activity at Easter, had we fully understood. But unfortunately there was a lack of organization and staff here. The staff was understandably overworked. Unfortunately, that's not possible for me if you want to have a separate bill and make some kind of not-so-great grimace because it might be too complicated to split the bill. Therefore unfortunately no more stars.

Well... I'm a bit lacking the right words. As far as food goes, I would say it's pretty normal. Not really made with great love. More like getting out of the kitchen. After about two hours of waiting, nothing could save it. The staff tried as hard as they could. The house is full of guests and is fully booked, so you simply have to plan better in terms of staffing. What I also didn't like was the extreme noise of around 74-8dB for hours, that's significant. I have to say for such an Easter occasion with the family, nothing more. This could really be done better.

I celebrated my birthday at Sagi. With the menu ordered in advance including special requests, it worked out great. The special attention to my dessert was a successful surprise. The food and service were top. So I was able to fully enjoy being together with my guests.

I love going to Sagi to eat. Thanks to Ms. Hasenfratz who always served us very well. It's a shame she quit! Ev. Could the Keller family learn something and not scare away employees who have been there for a long time............

Nice condition and very quick. The Szraussenfilet Café de Paris is definitely unsurpassed. Plus a really fair price-performance ratio. Not to forget the cozy atmosphere of the restaurant.

We were very satisfied. Particularly noteworthy are the generous portions, the lovingly set table and the attentive service. Even with a lot of activity, all wishes were fulfilled. The restaurant can be proud to have such great employees! We recommend a visit to the Sagi Bertschikon.

Service was O.K. The Entrecote Café d. Paris a culinary low-level flight. It's a shame that the meat is still pretty good. Cut into pieces and put in a would-be café d. Paris butter cooked floating. A shame for such a busy restaurant.

Were on the terrace, a very cozy place next to a small body of water with a wooden water wheel. Delicious food, courteous, friendly staff. Thanks to the ramp, the restaurant and the terrace are easily accessible with a walker. Toilets via 2 long stairs in the basement...unfortunately not suitable for those with walking disabilities etc

Very nice garden restaurant. Sitting outside by the mill wheel and the rippling water offers a pleasant gazebo ambience. Not the cheapest prices but the quality and the surroundings almost make up for it. Nice and attentive service staff. The beautifully designed interiors and the winter garden should not go unmentioned here. Highly recommended depending on your budget. There are enough parking spaces available.

Yesterday, May 4th, 2022, I was in Sagi for the first time with a business partner. The spring salad with asparagus and prawns simply delighted me: fresh, crunchy, tasty. I can only recommend. Ah yes: very attentive care.

The Cordon Bleu “the classic” here, for 43 francs… I thought it was at least good. Unfortunately it wasn't like that. Breading was not crispy, meat was dark. How can that be?

Rather overpriced for the performance and the service was unfortunately also of the slower variety. There are also tables that shouldn't be there because the position in the room is suboptimal. Overall OK, but not 5*.

A very nice, rustically furnished country pub. The service is friendly and the wine list is well stocked. But for the extremely (!) hefty price, you unfortunately don't get any special service here. The entrecôte was swimming in the Café de Paris (that would be okay in principle, but unfortunately the taste wasn't right), it doesn't come with any token vegetables (which my wife tasted came from the freezer anyway) and the French fries were dry.

Had chateaubriand… was good, but very little meat. For a hefty price… won't be coming back anytime soon.

+ friendly service + nice ambience + fine food - my partner shared a Chateaubriand with a colleague and we had spaetzli, I had another menu with spaetzli too... we got 1 plate of spaetzli even though 1 plate was intended for my menu, so half a bit too few... - the Chateaubriand was served in two courses, the second unfortunately came too late and the “others” of us had already finished eating, so these two had to eat alone.. what a shame👎🏻 - Prices are already too high

Board dinner of the AXA Bikers on November 17th, 2021 - in the pictures you can see the tasty shrimp cocktail (relatively large portion) then the Cordon Bleu and finally the ex-President's Steak Café de Paris. The service was attentive and tried to keep the atmosphere relaxed. I can recommend the Sagi - not cheap but good!

The Sagi is always worth a visit. I've been here many times. Friendly welcome, good selection and the food tastes great. We recommend.
