It's been years since I've been to the Sagibeiz with two friends to experience an exciting culinary evening (which was great years ago). But unfortunately the disillusionment came pretty quickly... it started badly when we were given mineral water with a sip of white wine instead of a sweet white wine for the aperitif. Starter of nuts salad was good, but too expensive! Main course Cordon Bleu, seasonally filled. We asked what is currently in season and what it is filled with. Service staff couldn't give us any information! Maybe this or that... we let ourselves be surprised. We don't know what it was filled with other than cheese. Add the fries, totally soggy and over salted. Creme Brülle for dessert, cold straight from the cooler. My colleague ordered an espresso and was told that the machine was being cleaned and that it would take a moment. She said no problem, no one was talking about her espresso anymore.... While we were collecting the money, a young gentleman came who had nothing to do with us the whole evening. Did we hear a thank you? I can't remember. There was also no farewell when we left the restaurant. Despite the dream location, it was the last time I visited the Sagi. Price/performance ratio is not right at all, far too expensive.

If you want to switch off, the sauna by the lake at Sagibeiz is the right place for you. The birds are chirping, the fire is crackling, the view of the lake and the Churfirsten is perfect.

We had made reservations for dinner. We were welcomed and escorted to the table. We had to wait 15 minutes for the card. After 25 minutes the order was taken. The service was heartless and disinterested from start to finish. After more than an hour after ordering, our main course finally arrived. During the entire waiting time we were unable to order any more drinks. The food was an absolute disaster! The meat cold and cooked to death. The vegetables and mashed potatoes could be eaten cold as long as you don't prioritize taste. For us it's clear that we'll never do it again and we don't recommend Sagibeiz.

This is our third time staying at the loft hotel. The food at the Sagibeiz has been very tasty so far, as recently as October 2022. Since we think the loft hotel is very nice and the location of the Sagibeiz, we have always been happy to come. Now it will definitely be the last time in the Sagibeiz. We waited 45 minutes for our starter, which was totally tasteless. We had to ask for the wine list twice and the wine didn't come for ages. But the waiting time between starter and main course was over an hour! The main course was so bad that we returned the almost full plates. The meatloaf was dry and mushy at the same time. The pasta and vegetables were overcooked and as if that wasn't enough, everything was only lukewarm. Price-performance ratio is no longer right at all. Never again. It's a shame that the loft hotel also runs under it, because we won't be able to drive or take public transport to the next town to eat there.

Tasteless food haha. No salt or anything in the food. Poor service, forgot the salad, forgot the free coffee that they offered to make up for the forgotten salad.

Once again thrilled with the sagibeiz! The meal was delicious. The product selection and menu are impressive in their quality. The care and passion of the entire team can be felt here. We are particularly enthusiastic about the fact that the young trainees are already extremely competent in the service. We received great service! Small waiting times between courses, in a fully booked restaurant like yesterday, are comprehensible and understandable in view of the great performance of the service and the kitchen - and at the same time testify to the humanity and attention to detail of this restaurant. A reasonable price is required for this quality, which we are happy to pay. The previous bad reviews are therefore incomprehensible to me. A great company, under obviously great management! Keep it up and see you next time!

Always good. It's nice to see that sagibeiz trains learners and that they really take the time for them. The food was very good in terms of taste.

Service was heartless and difficult to understand. After 20 minutes we were asked for drinks and brought the menu. After an hour of waiting, the main course was served. The fillet was to death and ice cold. Much more was to be expected for this price range and we drove home disappointed. Will definitely not visit the restaurant again

We love Sagibeiz - we have been able to accompany many wedding couples and even birthday parties here for over 5 years. I ordered the beef loin with autumnal side dishes for Fr. 58.50. The food was very bland, although attractively prepared. When both waiters asked if the food was good, I replied that it was too bland. The waiter then replied with “Then you should have just said that, then we would have given you salt”. No apology or other convenience - not even a thank you for the visit after payment - which would definitely have been appropriate at this price. Price-performance (also from the service staff) wasn't right for us.

Was an excellent evening! Super good food, the atmosphere is very cozy and we are also impressed by the service. We will be back!

Relaxed boat trip with mulled wine and aperitif, delicious cheese fondue in the restaurant and interesting apple strudel with a difference as a dessert, friendly service, great ambience. We'll be back!

Went for lunch at the beginning of January. Location is great, food is flop. We had hoped for more. An email was sent to the restaurant with feedback etc. 0815 answer, too bad. Paid full price for this service, very weak. Not exactly customer friendly. Hope others have better luck with good quality food.

Nice restaurant and location. The air smell was too smoky from the wood fire place. Food is good. We had Sagibrett with fish - not sufficient fish and a lot side dishes. One of us had the three cordon bleus - 2 are tasty and 1 not. If you want a fish or a piece of meat then it is not the right place. Homemade ice cream wasn't good, The Müller ice cream is very good! Overall you don't get sufficient value for the price.

Of the only 7 main courses, they didn't have exactly what our group, for the most part, wanted to eat. Then another guest received an alternative option that was not offered to us. There was “only” one: “Sorry.” And during dessert we were asked if we would have more coffee, otherwise they would like to clean the machine. Portions are small, you hardly get full, but the prices are “juicy”. Once and never again.

Nice location The food was satisfactory to good. Two people had french fries. Some were crispy and good, others were light. Two people had them "3 Cordonbleu" ("small meat rolls" or "larger meat croquettes") One person had deer pepper One person had polenta The prices are at a very, very high level, both for the food and the wine. The wine prices are extraordinarily high! In summary, unfortunately the price-performance ratio doesn't suit me at all, so I will no longer consider this very nice restaurant and won't recommend it to anyone else.

The factory-style ambience and the terrace right on the lake are fantastic! Unfortunately, despite there being almost no people there, the service was extremely inattentive and we didn't feel very welcome. We ordered a cappuccino and were happy. Service leaves something to be desired. Dishes are simply cleared away immediately and full glasses are simply thrown away. Hop hop only for the service after the meal. We bought a voucher for afternoon tea through your deal. In our opinion the price-performance ratio is 0. For the price of 70 (instead of 140) for 2 people you get a small étagère. The voucher said the following was included: scones, clotted cream, canapès, patèsserie and various surprises as well as 1 glass of Prosecco and tea. The scones and clotted cream didn't come and when we asked we were told that the offer keeps changing?!? However, there wasn't anything else to it. We weren't offered the Prosecco, but the bottle of water was canceled at the end. The best thing was that the afternoon tea now costs CHF 48.50 per person... It would be a beautiful and cool location. The food was also very good. However, the price is 0 justified. A pity. We won't come anymore.

Reception was very demure. Brunch was served outside at 10 degrees with woolen blankets - without any information - otherwise you would have dressed warmer. Dirty plate received. No fresh peaks, just baked peaks, jam had run out - applesauce was served as a replacement, cheese was forgotten, chopped salmon without onion, horseradish. Restaurant was very uncomfortable, you sat in a draft and it was cold.

Top price for pumpkin soup! 4:00 p.m. Stutz - an impudence! Sorry!

Although the place is beautiful and the restaurant is nice, there are deductions for the service, the prices and the endless waiting time. The staff is friendly, but if there are too few employees, the service suffers and so does the guest.

This weekend we were both private and for an event at Sagibeiz and Sagisteg. Simply beautiful, food very tasty and service impeccable. Great open wine menu. Would love to come again...

We were there for breakfast today. Unfortunately the price-performance ratio is 0.0! The etagere is very sparse (although we were told that there would be supplies, but that wasn't offered to us). There was also a selection of rolls & plaited bread & breakfast cereal. All in all, we found the selection too small and too little for the price of 37.50. We probably would have gotten more if we asked, but the staff was very unfriendly and didn't even want to ask. We are 30 minutes. We arrived later than we had reserved and had to listen to the staff say a “stupid thing” about it (absolutely out of place). Since the restaurant wasn't fully booked, it won't be so tragic if 2 guests arrive a little later. It was also very clearly signaled to us that we should go a little quicker with our food (twice we were asked whether the cake stand could be cleared away even though there was still food on it). All in all, we had high hopes for a place like Sagibeiz, but we were very disappointed and didn't feel welcome. Our recommendation for the future would be: To train staff on hospitality & offer a richer, higher quality breakfast.

Very nice location by the lake. Quiet and cozy, perfect to relax and enjoy. We were served immediately and very friendly. The food was very good and beautifully presented. Only, the salad dressing (house dressing) could have had a bit more kick. Otherwise everything was tip top. Thank you.

The Sagibeiz is a place/restaurant where I always enjoy going. The food is excellent and the people in service are very friendly and attentive. The location right on the lake is also beautiful.

Hirsch Enterecôte was simply sensational. A real treat for the palate... Next time I will skip the aperitif (raspberry mojito) for CHF 22.90 (now that I know the price => bad or not signposted). The price/performance ratio is not right. In the end you have to wait a relatively long time for the bill. It's okay to slow down, but when I want to go, it's annoying.

I have to correct my bad review written a year ago. The food was very good and the service has improved. I still think it is a bit pricey for what it is, but considering the location it is OK.

As a group of 10, we were able to enjoy an aperitif and all kinds of grilled meat with side dishes on the terrace with a beautiful view of the mountains and the lake on a warm summer evening. Was great! We will be back!

Very good service and good food, I recommend We went to the restaurant at noon and ordered from the daily meal, which was meat in broth, cooked with vegetables. It was good. We ordered grilled ribs, which were good, with grilled potatoes and French fries. We ordered a children’s meal, nuggets and potatoes, and we ordered an appetizer of garlic bread, which was excellent. The place has a large, spacious seating and a nice view of the lake We went without a reservation. The food options are average, but they don't have a burger It doesn't have an English menu, but their employee knew English The service is good, but it takes a little time to eat and prepare the order

August 1, 2023 We once again spent a wonderful evening here. The food was amazing. For the starter we decided on the Apéro Plättli, the main course: the Swiss Prime spareribs and the veal chop (recommended daily) as well as the open lasagne. For dessert we had the Coupe Romanoff, the honey lavender peach and the strawberry cream slices. The main course was accompanied by the Sagibeiz Rosé and a Primitivo👌 I found the staff to be very attentive and polite. I give 5 stars again and again - not just because of the location🙌🏼 I wish the Sagibeiz team a constantly full house with wonderful guests who appreciate and want to enjoy the food and the wonderful view.

Since we were invited for a birthday, I can't give a complete review. But the location is absolutely amazing. A BBQ was made for us which was also very good. It had a very good selection at the buffet. The popcorn machine and the ice cream cart rounded off the evening. The personnel is very friendly and courteous. Thank you for the great evening. We would love to come back 😘
