Hearty coffee with a delicious selection of sandwiches as well as seasonal soups and cakes. In summer the terrace facing the Rhine is open. There are also several seating areas in the Marktgasse in the old town of Rheinfelden.

Eating on a beautiful sunny Saturday afternoon in front of the Brötlibar Salmen. We enjoyed the freshly made canapes with clay, eggs and cream cheese, sparkling white wines, champagne and finally coffee and a fine lentil cake. Simply super fine and freshly made. The service was quick, very friendly and professional. Gladly again.

Unfortunately the risotto was overcooked, definitely not up to the standard of a restaurant that aims to be of a high standard. I informed the service staff but, unfortunately, they did not offer to remake the risotto.

Roberstenstrasse 31The food was good but there was very little on the plate. Not exactly cheap for these prices. We always had a different waiter. And finally something else. Since it was Valentine's Day, all the women got a rose and me and my partner didn't get one - we're just men. Valentine's Day is for everyone man woman or woman woman or man man. Felt discriminatory.

Froneggweg 3Im Salon des Restaurant Makaan durften wir einen Familienanlass feiern.Die Lokalität, das ausgewählte Menü sowie die dazu passenden (und vom Hause empfohlenen) Weine waren ausgezeichnet. Der Service war sehr aufmerksam, freundlich und doch nicht aufdringlich.Alles hat super geklappt, besten Dank.
