A real Italian restaurant. Whether pizza, saltimbocca with risotto, gnocchi Al Taleggio...everything is highly recommended and delicious. Also served really quickly, even though the restaurant was busy. I would advise everyone, from 4 people onwards, to make a reservation by phone.

We had dinner tonight with friends .We were nicely welcomed by host Gino.

First time here. The food was good, fresh, and portions big and satisfying. The host unusually welcoming and friendly. The location on a noisy street corner has its charms too, hearing village life pass by (cannot see it due to dimmed glass). We will be back for trying more of their varied menu.

Very nice restaurant with a wide choice of homemade pasta, some meat dishes and many pizzas. The taleggio gnocchi was very salty and the cheese didn't taste like taleggio. The pizza was excellent and very filling. The staff was quite friendly. The prices are perhaps slightly high but the quality of the pizza justifies them

Good quality italian food. The soup of mushrooms was really well done. The classical pizzas we tried: prosciutto and 4 seassons were also well done. Pizza della casa was a bit of surprise: did not get it is expected to be a bit spicy. Great special apero Cupido - really liked it.

The pasta was hard. Apparently you have to say it if you want the pasta aldente or soft. Otherwise the food and service were good.

Spent Mother's Day at this Italian restaurant. The pizzas were good. Price performance is right. The other dishes on the menu were also very good. Fair portions and very large pizza. Thumbs up! The service staff was sometimes a bit overwhelmed. However, it was busy and they remained friendly throughout.

Wir waren am Abend nach dem Besuch im Tierpark mit der Familie in diesem Restaurant. Schon lange wollte ich es probieren und ich muss sagen, das war ein positives Erlebnis.Das Personal ist nett und entspannt. Das Lokal eher dunkel und eng, aber ich fand es trotzdem gemütlich.Wir nahmen Maccheroni al pomodoro und zwei Pizze. Die Pasta war gut gekocht, nicht übertrieben "al dente", aber auch nicht zu weich; die Tomatensauce ebenfalls auf ein gutes Mittelpunkt der Schärfe beziehungsweise der Säure. Beide Pizze waren reichlich belegt und die Zutaten waren qualitativ hoch; die Füllung schmeckte also hervorragend. Leider war das Teig für mein Geschmack und meine Gewohnheiten zu trocken und knusprig; das kann mit dem Elektro-Ofen passieren und ist, soviel ich weiss, unvermeidlich.Bei der unser nächsten Besuch werden wir etwas anders probieren (die "Pasta della Mitologia" hat mich sehr neugierig gemacht). Dieses Restaurant ist sehr versprechend.

Das "Salvi&Gino" in Goldau (nähe Tierpark) schätzen wir sehr und sind mit Familie oder Freunden immer wieder gerne zu Gast. Die Küche ist einfach richtig gut - frische Pasta & Pizza wie es sein sollte. Das Personal ist freundlich und stets aufmerksam. Absolut empfehlenswert!!

Welcoming place, very friendly and attentive manager, I don't give five stars because I only came in to drink a beer so I don't know how to eat, however I saw the pizzas they served at the tables and they were very inviting. The next visit will be to eat a pizza and try the Sicilian cannoli made today.

The Salvi&Gino Restaurant is an important point of reference for me, every time I am in Goldau to visit my son it is a must to stop and eat. The service is excellent, the staff is competent, Mr. Gino is always kind to have a chat, putting the customer at ease. Wide choice of à la carte menus and pizzas, excellent wines. Good ambience. Very fine food. Pizzas are thin with fresh ingredients. Chicken in the Chörbli was very “crunchy” with a spicy sauce. The service was very friendly and attentive. We would love to come back for dinner again. Simply recommended.

Given the positive reviews hereunder, I had dinner at Salvi & Gino and got rewarded with great food and service. Table booking essential - it was absolutely packed. Congrats to the Italian owner and his team: although the restaurant was full, they provided a friendly and very efficient service. The menu reflects everything you can expect from an Italian restaurant, but also includes seasonal specialties. As starter the guineafowl cream soup was revigorating and tasty. As main course I chose the beef filet mignon, wrapped with bacon, and served with polenta. Delicious and generous portion. Unreasonably I ended the dinner with a homemade chocolate mousse - to die for!The bill amounted to CHF80 and reflects usual Swiss price level.

Meine Frau, ich und mein 19Monate alter Sohn im Kinderwagen hatten einen kleinen Hunger. Der Kellner (kleinerer etwas molliger Italiener) wollte uns einen Kinderstuhl offerieren den wir dankend ablehnten da unser Sohn gerade sein Mittagsschlaf hatte. Wir wollten und das fast leere Restaurant den Kinderwagen am Tisch haben und den kleinen schlafen lassen. Daraufhin verzog der Kellner das Gesicht und gab uns einen Tisch und brachte die Karten mit dem Menu. Ich stöberte kurz rein und bat ihn um eine Pizza mit Oliven und... er lies mich nicht ausreden und sagte ich solle eine Pizza aus der Karte mit Oliven aussuchen. Darauf hin bat ich ihn erneut Freundlich um eine einfache Pizza mit Oliven, Zwiebeln und Schinken. Er sagte dann dass das nicht geht und nahm die Karten wieder vom Tisch!!! Wir haben danach das Restaurant sofort wieder verlassen. Wir sind eine gepflegte Familie mit einem anständigen Auftreten. Sowas habe ich noch nie erlebt!

We went there after a morning at the Tierpark, and were welcomed very friendly by the staff, despite it was late (by Swiss standards) for lunch. Salvi&Gino is a cozy Italian corner and offers a wide range of pizzas. We had 3 different ones and all of them were delicious and generously big. But the place definitely deserves a second trip, since the other customers around us have been served many delicious dishes other than pizza. Desserts were also very good. and the price is fine.Molto bene!

Freundlich helles Restaurant mit Terrasse. Ob Vorspeise, Hauptgang oder Dessert hier ist man Richtig wenn man die Italienische Küche gern hat. Auch das Personal ist aufmerksam und freundlich. Das Preis Leistung Angebot ist fair.

Das beste ist, dass ich die kleine Pizza wählen konnte, da die normale Größe der Pizza sehr groß für mich ist und ich nicht die ganze Pizza essen konnte.Die Variante als kleine Pizza ist das Beste für mich und meine Tochter. Auch das Hühnchen war sehr gut.
