Friendly service , great location . I ordered a fruit pie. The only fruit on the piece od dry cake was a thin layer of apricot jelly. Very disappointing and not tasty . Used to be a lot better with real fruits . Cutting costs everywhere wile increasing prices.

Very nice "hut". Tastefully decorated. Good value for money. Nice terrace and view. A more than just viable alternative to the better-known “mountain huts” in Arosa.

Oh well. Of course you have a wonderful view here in the Sattelhütte, but it's free throughout Arosa. The food, including hash browns, is absolutely overpriced. Very small portions, with the exception of the hash browns, and carelessly cooked. Side dishes such as French fries cost extra. Fries for Fr. 6.00 and only half a portion! We won't eat there anymore.

The Cordonblue as a daily snack was disappointing. I've never had such a bad cordon blue before. An almost tough steak 1.5cm thick was poorly folded and filled with only a little cheese. When we asked the "trained" cook who cleared our plates why she didn't pound the meat, we only got a blunt answer that it doesn't always have to be the same. The portion size is also very meager compared to many other restaurants. The tea we ordered was also only moderately warm and the "Cola" was very poorly "mixed". The toilet sinks have spray taps that make it difficult to wash your hands. On the terrace it dripped from the gutter onto the blankets. Well, we'll eat somewhere else next time.

Based on the staff's recommendation, our idea was to be able to satisfy our hunger, especially given the prices, one might expect something. That wasn't the case, the portions were the size of a side plate. Because of this, we saved coffee and dessert despite being hungry.

I certainly haven't been here for around 30 years - which made me even happier that it's still as good as it used to be. Top food, service and ambience (this also includes the very pleasant and clean toilets). Recommendation!

Super friendly staff! That's the first thing I think of about our visit. The food we ordered was fresh and tasty - so simple but the fries were memorable for us xD also the Weiss beer and coffee with little chocolate cake. We were a hungry group of 5 and had lunch in the saddle hut. Since we were craving rösti, we ordered the Sattelhütten rösti (bacon, cheese, egg) for no less than CHF 27! Because of the high price, we assumed... this must be big! What a mistake!!! Totally burnt, tasteless cheese, a dried out fried egg and ONE piece of rock hard bacon. The size was about two palms and one centimeter thick. My dear people, I know that the restaurant is always full and you don't have to rely on returning tourists... but compared to all the restaurants around, I find this an outrage! The only thing that made the stay better was the friendly service staff and the sun. Unfortunately, the five of us definitely won't be coming anymore...

Super slow and not really friendly service, food mediocre (everything was a bit blandly seasoned) and sometimes lukewarm. Today - on a Tuesday in mid-January - we waited over 1 hour for our lunch. We weren't stressed, but that's a shame on a beautifully sunny day of skiing. Unfortunately the service staff wasn't really interested. The soup came relatively quickly, but all other dishes only came 30 minutes later. So if you want to enjoy a warm meal together, not a good choice.

The ambience inside is promising, but we had to wait over an hour for lunch. The coordination between kitchen and service leaves a lot to be desired. When we informed the service staff about this, we were not taken seriously. The visit to the Sattelhütte was the only negative point on an otherwise wonderful day of skiing.
