If you don't like roadside restaurants and are passing through, this is a great place to stop. The service is very nice and the food is freshly made. Prices are comparable to the Netherlands at the moment.

Ran into the Bisto by chance. Brilliant view of Lake Constance. Tarte flambée very good and very very friendly service / owner + owner. Unfortunately a bit hidden behind a gas station - BUT you should stop here. We will be back....

Super nice bistro. The food is delicious, there isn't a huge selection, but there is something for everyone and it's very good. The staff is very friendly and accommodating, they respond to special requests and only want the best for their customers. The brunch (on request) was very extensive and had everything you could want. Price-performance is perfect. And on top of all the good things, there is also a wonderful view of beautiful Lake Constance. I will visit the bistro again and again.

Top bistro, good coffee and very good snacks

I'm pleasantly surprised, a lot has changed since before. New furniture and the terrace finally became a winter garden. Which is now used as a designated smoking room (14 seats). Condition very friendly. Prices quite okay. I will definitely come back to Pillar 11 (formerly Seeblick Bar).

The location is fantastic with a view over Lake Constance. I can only recommend the food, including chicken wings, cordon bleu, lasagna and delicious salads. Or a fine cocktail in a cozy atmosphere!

In August we made an unplanned stop with our family on a bike tour. Until now we didn't know of any (good) bistros next to a gas station. Here we were taught otherwise. Top food (seems fresh and homemade), good selection, friendly and courteous staff, clean sanitary facilities and really fair prices. If you can block out the street noise, you can relax and strengthen yourself cheaply and well!

Very nice indoor and outdoor area. Part of the terrace is a winter garden. Great service, lovely service. Very good coffee. Small snacks and also good dishes. Very clean.. I always go back because just the view of the lake and a good cappuccino is balm for ailing souls

I was there often under the old management. Very nice view and the rest is normal bistro style. I've been there two Sundays since the new management. But it was closed. The second time I asked why. The reason...you don't want to work on Sunday. I found this statement quite wrong. Today I was in Altnau again for an appointment. Were there too early and thought we'd go to the gas station for a coffee again. Spoken briefly to the staff and asked if you could sit outside. She had said yes. In the “winter garden” there are 3 tables with a total of 4 people. Everyone was served. We were at the table for 12 minutes and in those 12 minutes the service employee came into the winter garden 5 times. But never on the terrace with us. 2 meters away from the other table in the winter garden. After 12 minutes we left the bistro with a dream view without any drinks or even an order, dry. I don't have any great demands. I also really understand if there is a reason for it. But with 4 guests served, wait over 10 minutes???? A pity.....
