Great location, right next to Waldstatt train station The service was excellent, the food was incredibly tasty and prepared with a lot of love. The rooms are beautifully designed and the beds are comfortable. The breakfast was also very good!

I had Cordonbleu with my son, it was excellent at a good price and the service was excellent. As a former restaurateur, I can only RECOMMEND it. 😊👍

Excellent schnitzel with quark spaetzle! Delicious sauce and the vegetarian game plate was also very tasty! Attention to detail and perfectly garnished. Great service, nice atmosphere! And even after 2 years, this is still the best breading on a schnitzel I've ever eaten!

After a beautiful autumn hike, we spontaneously had dinner in the previously unknown “Schäfli”. Our day hike was accompanied by culinary delights and was a wonderful end to a beautiful day! Beautiful plates, clearly fresh ingredients, lovingly prepared and served. The staff is friendly, tidy and has an eye for detail. Very good cuisine, great price-performance ratio! We'd love to see you again!

I wasn't in the restaurant itself, but the owner made dinner at a wedding I was attending and I stayed there overnight. The food was wonderful. I'm not really a risotto eater, but I really enjoyed hers. The dessert was also very tasty. The rooms are very clean and comfortable. Can recommend it to everyone.

Restaurant und Hotel wurden an diesem Standort im 2018 neu gebaut. Als angemeldete Gruppe und bei straffem Menüangebot wurden alle Gäste rasch bedient. Preis /Leistung, Qualität, Freundlichkeit und Ambiente stimmten allseits. Der enge Dorfkern, die Durchgangsstrasse, sowie wenige PP schränken die Attraktivität etwas ein. Weitere PP in kurzer Gehdistanz finden sich jedoch schon, z.B. Bahnhof und nach dem Bahnübergang. Immerhin fehlt auch ein kleines Gartenrestaurant nicht. Für Bahnreisende, erscheint uns, wäre das die erste Adresse im Dorf u.a. wegen der kurzen Gehdistanz.

Das Schäfli in Waldstatt ist eine wunderbare Entdeckung. Super frisches und schmackhaftes Essen, zubereitet von einem Team, das sein Handwerk versteht. Die Chefin Brigitte ist eine fantastische Köchin und eine tolle Gastgeberin. Ihre Mitarbeiterinnen sind sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Das Ambiente steht der Küche in nichts nach. Schöne moderne Räume, absolut sauber und gemütlich. Fazit: das Schäfli ist absolut top...

Saisonales, gutbürgerliches und vor allem feines Essen zu vernünftigen Preisen in einen angenehmen Atmosphäre, was will ich mehr. Kommt hinzu, dass sich die sympathische Chefin persönliches um die Kundschaft kümmert. Wie gesagt ein Besuch wert.

Einfach super. Top Küche und Bedienung

Wir hatten einen Abend mit der Familie und haben sehr lecker gegessen. Die Speisen sind sehr ansprechend angerichtet und vorzüglich im Geschmack. Dazu hat man eine gute Auswahl an Weinen. Die Bedienung war sehr freundlich und konnte alle Fragen gekonnt beantworten. Wir kommen gerne wieder einmal vorbei.

Vorzüglicher Service. Auf der Sommerkarte sind einige Spezialitäten angeboten. Obwohl das Gericht nicht auf der Karte stand, ging die Chefin sofort auf unseren Wunsch ein und bereitete einen herrlichen Käsesalat, garniert mit ausgesuchten Beilagen zu. Eine Augenweide.
