Food was great as always, service was practical, to put it nicely, I would give the employees another training course on hygiene. First make food, then take cash and then don't even try to wash your hands. I find it very unhygienic.

Great price-performance ratio! I had the pork steak with a café de Paris sauce and I have rarely had such a good sauce. The meat was also very tasty. I can recommend it to everyone.

The Scharfe Eck is simply fantastic! The kitchen offers a great selection of dishes that are truly delicious - each dish is a delight for the senses. The staff is incredibly friendly and accommodating, and it's obvious that they are well trained and genuinely care about the guests' well-being. The ambience is wonderful and invites you to linger - perfect for a romantic dinner or a social gathering with friends. I can only warmly recommend Scharfe Eck and look forward to dining there again soon!

Ambience is nice. But not all employees are friendly. We ordered something to drink and after half an hour we were supposed to pay. Although we wanted to order something else.. Service Lady said her boss wants us to pay. So cheeky. Once and never again. Not recommendable.

Good, spicy food. Wines from Switzerland, France, Austria, Italy, Spain. Service nice and friendly. But chf 15 for a normal grappa barricata is definitely too much, crazy!!!

We celebrated my partner's birthday in the Scharfe Eck. The evening was a complete hit. EVERYTHING was just right. The atmosphere of the restaurant is very homely. The top service from Nicole was great!! And the cuisine was sensational. My partner had game. He's still raving now. Best quality and perfect cooking point. The chefs have their craft fully under control. What we find very important is that the quality and quantity were the same every time. We avoid restaurants where you eat well one time and then bad the next. At the Scharfe Eck the food is EVERY TIME great! Price performance, quality, quantity top! That's why we have already recommended it to all our family and friends. Many thanks again to the boss, Nicole and the entire kitchen team for the wonderful evening with you.

Friendly service and good food. Unfortunately, the tables are placed close together, so the atmosphere suffers somewhat. But I would certainly take the restaurant into account when choosing Frauenfeld.

I had a delightful lunch experience at Swiss restaurant Scharfes Eck. The food was absolutely delicious, in particular the lunch menu (Tandoori chicken) and the Zurcher Geschnetzeltes. The service was impeccable, with attentive staff. I highly recommend this restaurant in Frauenfeld.

I've eaten at the restaurant a few times. It was always fine and the hospitality was top. Now I got the baguette with chicken from the take away. Super fine and a good portion 👍☺️ Come back! Thanks for the great sandwich baguette.

On the way to my next destination I was able to get a free seat at the bar. I was greeted warmly when I arrived and was able to order a daily menu straight away. The food was served quickly, with soup and salad. The portions are reasonable and the price is fair overall. I couldn't control myself and ordered the apple strudel that was recommended, which turned out to be a wise decision. Thank you for your hospitality.

Somewhat friendly service. The fries are good, the Wienerschnitzel is ok, but unfortunately a bit dry and two small schnitzels instead of one large one. The cola reminded me once again why I order drinks in bottles whenever possible: it wasn't the best in terms of taste or carbonation, and it was served with a lemon wedge without asking. When I complained about the lemon wedge, the lemon wedge I had fished out was shrugged off.

The best restaurant in the area. I really liked the caffe de Paris entrecôute. And the staff very nice, kind and attentive. It only took 12 seconds to bring me the knife that I accidentally dropped. Congratulations!!! I will definitely come back to you guys!!

Entrance: Staff super-friendly. The gist: Unfortunately, the food is low-end home cooking without any professional skill. Sauces without depth/refinement and probably straight from the bag, sliced ​​meat was completely overcooked, brown sauce is supposed to be a highlight (?!), mixed vegetables from frozen... Sorry, none of this is possible before company holidays. Portions are rather small for a decent price. Not ours: Interchangeable, boring and budget-consuming.

Great restaurant in a central Frauenfeld location. The quality of the food is very, very high. The Café de Paris sauce and garlic bread are particularly recommended. The meat is very tender, cooked perfectly. Staff friendly. Ambience bright and pleasant. We would be happy to come back here again.

The food looks on the menu card no so apititing but the food is really delicious. Tge price is also very resonable. In winter i would recomand the place since eating something warm while it is cold is so great

At the beginning they didn't say or ask what you wanted in the kebab. After several attempts to find out what kind of sauces etc. there was, I was shouted at and insulted, even shouted at. I have an allergy and so I want to know what's in it! The portions are very small and overpriced. 1 tomato 1 leaf of lettuce no more for 10.-!! I've never seen such an unfriendly ass! We'll give this mess a wide berth in the future!!!

The takeaway is divine! The burgers are the best you can get in Thurgau. Any visit to Frauenfeld is not complete without a visit here. I've always wanted to eat in a restaurant, unfortunately I never had the time :(. But I'll definitely do it again. The bacon cheese burger is more than recommended! But be careful! They're addictive ;)

A nice restaurant with a good location to reach on foot. Parking spaces are sometimes rather difficult in the immediate vicinity. The restaurant is nice and not designed for a casual dinner in between. The portions are tasty, but in terms of size they can only be described as “sufficient”.

Nice place, right opposite the castle. We were attracted by the fact that they said “the kitchen is open without interruption” and since we wanted to first go see the museum and then have lunch, it was ideal for us. We sat down outside at about three o'clock; of course, there were also seats inside. The service is quite fast, the girls are nice. The menu is not large, but there is meat and fish and salads and even Thai dishes, which is extremely unusual. We ordered a salad, it was delicious. I can fully recommend
