Cute factory right next to Schwendisee. Bought 3 different organic ice creams, all taste great, but incredibly sweet! In our opinion, it wouldn't have needed so much sugar given the delicate fruit taste.

Yesterday I accompanied a resident on a trip to Alp Gamplüt on the occasion of his 49th birthday. On the hike back to Wildhaus we took a coffee break at Hagbeizli. While ordering a chocolate cake, the person celebrating his birthday spontaneously talked about his birthday today. To his great joy, the innkeeper surprised him with a lit birthday candle on the cake. Thank you very much for this particularly kind gesture, which we will remember. We have been to the Hagbeizli several times and have always enjoyed the uniquely warm hospitality of the host couple - of course we will come back. For us the best cuisine in Obertoggenburg. The dishes change daily and are always freshly prepared. Always something for veggies too. The owners are very friendly, you just feel comfortable in Thur-Höckli! There are lots of board games for children, so you can pass the time even in bad weather.
