Schloss Freudenfels in Eschenz

An absolute highlight of my tour - great, attentive hosts, great food in a simply fantastic location! I'm already looking forward to my next visit!

We were at an event for a medieval event and had to wear clothing accordingly. Excellent tour of the evening. Laughed a lot, ate well, just great.

We took part in the joy table. The acting by “Vogt” was great and very entertaining, he stayed in his role and mastered everything easily even in unexpected moments. Super organized and carried out with great attention to detail. Very friendly and attentive staff. The castle and the hotel rooms have been developed and renovated to a high standard. All clean. Very nice breakfast buffet.

Absolutely top location! The cuisine is first class, the team is very friendly, competent and personable! The view of the Rhine from the rose garden is unique.

Very nice staff. The food is delicious. When the weather is nice you can sit outside. Unfortunately, the restaurant is only open during certain months.

We were able to celebrate our wedding here in a great atmosphere and fantastic service. Dennis, Michele and the whole team provided an incredibly great, professional and personal service. Even short-term inquiries and changes or requests were addressed immediately and every effort was made to make this possible. The location with the view is incredibly great. You have a wonderful view over Lake Constance. The rooms are spacious and very lovingly furnished. Our guests were consistently enthusiastic. We had an unforgettable day. Many thanks to the entire team at Freudenfels Castle!

We were there for a table of joy. It was a brilliant evening with good entertainment, delicious food and a pleasant atmosphere. If you're looking for a combination of entertainment and good food, then the Freudentafel is the right place for you (note, only available for a few dates in December and January and will be booked out quickly!)

We had a wedding at Freudenfels Castle and everything was excellent. We would like to thank the entire staff with this review. From the manager Dennis, who was always present and super friendly to Kadhija, Louis and Julia Luchsinger (Dear Julia, thank you for the great scrambled eggs and the many coffees in the morning☺️) who were there for us the whole evening and gave us a wonderful evening. Das Essen auf Schloss Freudenfels war einfach fantastisch und die wirklich traumhafte Aussicht machte den Aufenthalt perfekt. Auch bei den Wünschen für das Essen für unseren kleinsten war das Team sehr zuvorkommend. Wir kommen gerne wieder!
