We were there for Easter brunch with friends. It was super delicious. Huge buffet: various breads and rolls, croissants and plaited bread, salmon, cold cuts, cornflakes, fruits and desserts. However, the highlight for us was the roast beef plate with potato gratin, vegetables and fried eggs. The roast beef was soooo tender and with the fine hollondaise sauce... Mmhhhmmm 🤤 Highly recommended! Many thanks to the whole team, who were very friendly and accommodating. We will come back in any case.

We ordered two cups of tea and two cakes, yesterday evening. Unfortunately, in the evening we've got stomach problems and we are sure that is due to those cakes. Probably, they were not fresh enough. My friend had to go to a doctor at the end. Very terrible accident 😞.

The reception and service were very warm. The chicken wings with French fries and three sauces were very tasty. The castle ambience is generally great, unfortunately it was very loud that evening.

Very nice atmosphere, but not a bit shikimiki. The a la carte restaurant is quite small, which I really liked. Very cozy and personal and warm hosts. By the way, the vegetarian and vegan dishes are wonderfully creative and at the same time have familiar flavors that you simply like.

We had candlelight dinner. Everything was tip top. The food is particularly great.

The food is very good, the prices are higher class and quite justified. Even if the ambience only partially justifies the prices. The service is friendly, courteous and attentive. We didn't know the restaurant before and only became aware of it when we were planning our wedding. We now visit regularly (2x thumbs up). Brian and the whole team are so accommodating and helpful - they literally saved our ass :-)...luckily, because our wedding ceremony with the subsequent aperitif was simply perfect. The location is absolutely amazing and perfect even on warm days, as there is always a little breeze. We as a bride and groom and all of our guests felt comfortable and well looked after. A big thank you again at this point to Brian, who, with his calm demeanor shortly before the wedding, quickly made you forget your nervousness. Thank you very much for your all-round service, organization and food, everything was perfect and is highly recommended! See you again soon :-)

Nice ambience with open fireplaces, access by car to the front door possible for people who are not good on foot (press the button at the barrier). Friendly staff and fine food. The wine was also very good.

My favorite castle, what more can I say about it. The ambience is fantastic, under large chestnut trees in summer or cozy in the beautiful rooms in winter. The service is fantastic, always friendly and fun. We really appreciate that! The food has never disappointed us and the season menu always has a new delicacy to offer. We'd love to come back.

Simply great. We were able to celebrate our 18th birthday at Habsburg Castle and everything was just right. -Preparatory support for hall selection and menu - communication with decoration companies and cake suppliers - Service on site throughout the entire festival period was very attentive, friendly and competent - Cuisine simply unforgettable So it is only recommended

The chicken wings were still bloody on the inside and totally greasy. The fries are frozen fries, which isn't really appropriate in this posh restaurant. Too expensive for this quality.

The service is very good, the food too, I thought it was a nice experience to have eaten on the terrace, it has beautiful views and best of all, it is upstairs almost in the middle of nature. 100% recommendable!!!!

We were able to attend a wedding at Habsburg Castle. The food as well as the service was incredible. I can't remember the last time I was able to enjoy beef fillet cooked to perfection. The service was warm and fulfilled every wish. Thank you for this great culinary delight.

The service was first class. The chef should improve though. We had the flambéed grilled skewer. The staff almost burned their fingers (the spectacle was nice to see, but there are smarter flambé devices) Two of the pieces of meat were just ok, the other two were fried way too much, the vegetables were completely mushy for customers without teeth, the fries were cold before we could eat them again.

Very good restaurant, I have been there already quite sometimes. The menu offers traditional dishes well prepared. In the summer it is possible to eat outside.

We had broccoli soup as a starter and the hit of the day, grilled rib-eye steak with herb butter and grilled vegetables and fried potatoes. The meat was incredibly tender and juicy. It's been a long time since I've eaten such good meat! Great value for money for the hit of the day. The service was very friendly and attentive. The ambience and the view are of course great! Were completely satisfied 😀

A year ago we were able to celebrate what we thought was a wonderful wedding party in the Knights' Hall. Organization, location, service and food were wonderful. Every time we go out to eat in the Habsburg restaurant, we are greeted personally by the staff who still know us, which we really appreciate every time. We like to come back to the Habsburg again and again

There were four of us having dinner on the terrace. The big tree made it pleasantly cool. The services team was organized and courteous. They were prepared for possible rain, which I thought was great. The food was delicious. We are completely satisfied and would be happy to come back.

My husband and I enjoyed our evening here in this beautiful restaurant yesterday on our wedding anniversary. The food was excellent, and the waiters were also very friendly and funny. Thank you very much, we will visit you again soon.

We arrived half an hour before the restaurant closes in the afternoon, be sure to check until when the restaurant is open, they work twice. We didn't 🤦‍♀️ but the excellent staff of the restaurant and the service we received is top ten. Regardless of the working hours, we were served. We ordered one meat and one vegetarian dish. With the lack of time, they even flambéed our meat dish in front of us. We ate in peace and they allowed us to stay until we finished our meal. The dishes were excellently prepared and up to standard. I would single out the vegetarian dish, with a side dish, sauce and avocado patty. If you are nearby, make sure to go to the restaurant in the castle. It's a lunch with a view😍. Big kudos to the staff ❤️.

Beautiful castle, really worth it! Restaurant unfortunately fewer, arrogant and unfriendly, probably don't need to serve guests. The staff stood around bored and smoked their cigarettes. When we asked a friendly question, we received an unfriendly, even flippant answer.

We visit this incredibly beautiful place repeatedly every summer. The restaurant and its great staff deserve to be properly celebrated here. From the beautifully and invitingly set tables under the magnificent old trees to the quality of the food and the ambience in this beautiful historical place as well as the warmth and humor of the staff, you can experience and enjoy a light, wonderfully lively time away from everyday life . Daytime trips to the castle are also great; you can visit it and there is an educational path for children and adults through the first walls, which can still be recognized as walls. ... Habsburg, for Austria connoisseurs and those interested in the monarchy, the name says it all, but who knows that this Habsburg was just at the beginning? And how did the name even come about? …Come here and experience it. When the weather is good, many swifts can be observed performing their daring flying skills in the restaurant garden at the castle. And let's not forget: the view is simply magical. There is enough parking space just below the castle. The last few meters have to be covered on foot; it is a very short but intense climb. About 3-5 minutes. Of course, the castle/restaurant can also be hiked. From our experience, reservations in the restaurant/garden are recommended, at least on weekends. Can be easily done online.

Very well eaten within the walls of the venerable ancestral castle of the House of Habsburg.

Beautiful in terms of ambience and with a wonderful view. You feel like you are the lord of the castle and can look out over your vast land. We “just” went to the Jägerstübli, with the great food, the view, and the ambience. What more do you want? A dream! I'd be happy to come back at any time.

The place is nice, but I had never imagine to get such a bad coffee for 5.5 francs, ever! The cheapest milk, the cheapest coffee, the worst cacao powder on top, felt like made in the cheapest coffee machine and... bubbles on top,what was that?!

Unfortunately I can't write anything about it, the restaurant is closed on Mondays and Tuesdays. Beautiful, large terrace under the trees 🌳. 😎

We were very satisfied - starting with the friendly staff, the very good wine selection and the harmonious ambience. We also really enjoyed the food. Carrot cream soup, lamb in a horseradish crust and asparagus with chicken were excellent. It's better to reserve for a holiday.

A great restaurant! There is enough parking space, which I think is good. The restaurant is easy to reach in the middle of the castle. A historic and magnificent ambience, inside and out. The food and service are first class and absolutely upscale! We'll be back - it was just a wonderful evening for two in an incredibly beautiful setting. Great and thank you!

Criticism: My companion had left and despite being away they wanted to serve the food (flambé). The intervention was followed by waiting.

06/26/22: As always, we had a fantastic meal. Tried the knight's skewer for the first time today, as well as sea bream fillets and veal schnitzel with Habsburg fries 👍Highly recommended!!! P.S.: Great idea with the castle thalers 07/04/21: Finally ate at Habsburg again! It was fantastic and it was good to dine in this fantastic ambience again (see pictures) 👍😉👍 10/29/20: Today we had a great meal again in a great atmosphere! 👍 Deer schnitzel Mirza was great. Compliments to the kitchen: keep it up! Very good lunch menus with a wide range of choices!

The menu was excellent, as was the wine. The staff is very attentive. The friendliness made us feel really comfortable. The atmosphere is great, just an old castle.

Today we were able to enjoy our annual staff meal at the Restsurant Schloss Habsburg. The food (soup, main course and dessert) was culinary impeccable and very lovingly prepared. The staff was super friendly and attentive. There are enough parking spaces available. Highly Recommended.

I celebrated my big birthday in the castle restaurant with 50 people. Both the aperitif on the castle terrace and the 4-course menu in the knight's hall were a culinary delight. My guests were thrilled. The staff extremely friendly and quick. My wishes were taken into account during the preparations, the overnight stay at the partner hotel Aarehof and the shuttle service worked excellently. I can only recommend it and always enjoy it. Great service and friendly kitchen staff. The chicken wings with 3 different sauces and the crispy, hot fries were excellent! The bar counter could be decorated a bit more “castle-ish”. That would add the icing on the cake to the ambience.

Very friendly, attentive and courteous service. There's never anything to complain about when it comes to food, both visually and taste-wise it's a pleasure. The cozy terrace in the shade of large trees invites you to linger and offers a pleasant dining atmosphere even at temperatures over 30 degrees.

Every year we celebrate the Habsburg's birthday with lunch. The surprise (sparkler volcano for dessert) for our 5-year-old's birthday party was a hit and was topic No. 2 the whole day (right after the presents). Thank you for that!!
