Schore Pintli in Langenthal

I was there with a group for the first time recently. And I have to say it was simply very delicious. The selection is incredible, there is something for everyone, whether cordon bleu, pizza, fajitas, etc. And our group ordered a lot and every dish looked fantastic and the service was also great.

I can only recommend the burgers, for me there is currently no better place to eat a good burger.

Iced tea was warm. Entercote was no Entercote. Sauces were out of the tube. Meat was already cooked through when it was brought to the table on the hot stone. Ambience terrible. From Christmas decorations to a defective salt dispenser to a candle in a defective candle holder. The complaints were not taken seriously and we were not satisfied with the price either. Simply not recommended. Only the salad with the bread was good.

Today we were in the "Schore Pintli" for the first time in wonderful, somewhat hot summer weather, even though we have been living in Langenthal for years. - So we were curious about what to expect... The "warm" atmosphere immediately appealed to us. The service was extremely nice, courteous and attentive. We both ordered the “soapstone deal” and were not disappointed. The 3-course meal was simply delicious and harmonious in every single component! We have already taken a look at the varied menu and would love to come back to enjoy something from it. At first glance it may seem like a disadvantage that the "Schore-Pintli" is not in the center. But I have to say that the quiet and idyllic atmosphere can definitely be an advantage if you just want to “dive into the culinary world”. Conclusion: Clear recommendation!

Unfortunately we couldn't enjoy our meal in the shady garden under the deciduous trees. The dining room was clean and functional with a view of the kitchen. An extremely fine “balloon bread” accompanied the rich Nüssler salad. The large piece of meat on the hot stone was juicy. Unfortunately the right sauce was missing. The nice service was very attentive and friendly. We enjoyed the meal and left the restaurant satisfied.

The most terrible restaurant you can imagine. We had actually paid for a 3-course meal, but got up and left after the salad. The following can be criticized: 1. Salads were flaming, unreasonably embarrassing. 2. We ordered balsamic vinegar and a nut salad with tomato sauce came?!? 3. It smelled bad in there. 4. Waited for a very long time (1 hour), then we got up. Service tried to serve us well, but couldn't save it.

Sausage salad special was good. Ice cream for dessert is not recommended at all. Purchased ready-made ice cream in a glass was not at all tasty in terms of taste and was totally overpriced at CHF 10.50.

Absolutely amazing!!! We had different pizzas and they were de-li-cious! We also tasted the shrimp with rocket (super tasty) and the muscles. I normaly dont eat them but my friends insisted and I am glad they did. It was simply fantastic! If you are near the area, you have to go to this restr. The atmosphere is also great. There's not much left of the charming Pintli. I made a reservation by phone. We came for dinner with 7 people. Unfortunately the table was not prepared. Two other larger tables arrived at the same time and we were the first. After 35 minutes of waiting without drinks, a table left the restaurant... After 65 minutes of waiting, we were served our food. The entrecôte was forgotten and the cooking levels are not an issue. After 12 minutes it was served later, it wasn't marinated (as advertised on the menu). The doneness was bleu instead of saignant. The chicken schnitzel was a rubber schnitzel with thickened cream. Sometimes other guests got the cutlery themselves from the buffet... We were there as a family and had time and fortunately our little son had patience. There is no bread on the table either… absolutely incomprehensible! The overall experience was shocking. It's a total shame for this location, which deserves something better. In response to my complaint, the boss wanted to offer something... I was served and we would like to look elsewhere and avoid this snack bar... this establishment no longer has anything to do with a restaurant.

Instead of an apology, the staff can only say: 'One after the other, they all came at once'. The fact that the starter, Cozze, was served after an hour and I had to return it to the kitchen... a tired 'sorry' isn't enough. The mussels were still frozen and were served as is. The pasta is no longer at the same level as it used to be. The store has become something chaotic. It is a pity. They lost us as regular guests.
