The bookstore impresses not only with its extensive selection of books and stationery items, but also with its extremely pleasant atmosphere. Particularly worth mentioning are the friendly little helpers (kids), who make the visit something special. The delicious cakes and first-class coffee also contribute to an all-round successful experience. A place I can fully recommend!

Large bookstore with stationery, Good advice

The bookstore is large with a wide and deep selection. You can browse to your heart's content on 2 floors; the selection is huge. In addition to cookery and travel books, there are many types of crime entertainment and a large number of books with which you can learn various foreign languages. There is also a stationery shop on the second basement floor. You can also find a variety of puzzles. The staff was very accommodating and friendly. I really liked the place and is therefore recommended.

When I got home, I removed the price tag. OMG! Paid over 30 per book. Under the label the price is 19.95 euros. This is a rip off. It's a shame for the retailers, but next time I'll order online and it'll be even cheaper. And then you're amazed that no one comes anymore...

I've known the bookstore for a long time but was there for the first time to drink coffee on the first floor. Was pleasantly surprised, very cozy and a nice view over the roofs from the church street towards Schütze. The service was also very friendly. Good coffee and fine patisserie/Brändlibombe etc.

I made a special effort to write a constructive email to the owners, but it was never answered. I'm sorry, but I suspect that book recommendations posted by the staff are pure sales psychology, because I asked about a topic that was recommended as a book by a trainee and received an embarrassing answer: She probably won't be interested in that . I wrote my impression nicely and constructively via email to the owners. However no response received. This is not how you deal with well-intentioned feedback. But fits into the picture I received from the sales staff on site. If you worked in sales yourself, you have to say: outrageous behavior in appearance and communication towards customers. Overwhelmed outside of Scheme X. I'm very sorry. Unfortunately, the overall impression was confirmed by not responding to a well-intentioned email. I wish you good luck.

Unfortunately, top titles are often not available. E.g. The latest work of Panem. The staff is very accommodating. The search function in the online shop is not yet fully developed. The book was published in the middle of the month. I got it from the library afterwards.
