The food was tasty, but I find the prices a bit high (I was disappointed when I received the salad and there was so little on the plate for 12 CHF). The ambience is absolutely great and furnished with love. Great playground. The service was very friendly.

In my opinion, absolutely perfect here. I've eaten here with a group several times. Friendly, prompt and well-organized service absolutely stands out here. The cuisine here is also very tasty. Once you have found the restaurant, you will find yourself in a quiet place with a cozy garden with a pond.

We had our civil wedding dinner at Schwendi. It was raining, so we couldn't eat right by the pond, but we had the winter garden to ourselves. The host couple were very accommodating, met all of our needs and made it possible for us to have a wonderful day. The ambience in the Schwendi was great and the food was delicious!

The salad and menu was good. There was no bread with the salad. I pointed this out and the boss treated me very rudely. The toilet was a disaster because it smelled extremely of urine and feces. You feel like puking after using the toilet. It's also bad that this smell penetrates into the restaurant. The Merlo wine was very sour and bad. Too expensive. Restaurant can be recommended to some extent

The Schwendi has a large parking lot with a beautiful terrace and winter garden. Was there at lunchtime. It was well staffed. I ate a soup of the day that was super fresh and delicious with homemade tomato bread. Happy to give my positive recommendation!

Very nice restaurant. Garden seating is also very nice with a small pond. It is also close to nature without much traffic noise. I had lunch with my daughter today, April 7th, 2023. The food was very, very good. They do everything they can themselves in the kitchen. I think it's great that something like this still exists. I have already reserved again for Mother's Day. I can only recommend this restaurant. Dear Schwendi team, please keep it up.

Very nice restaurant, with perfect food and nice ambiance. This place is kidfriendly due to the huge playground outside so you can enjoy your food at nice huge terace while watching your little ones.

The saffron risotto was excellent, nice staff, nice environment and pleasant atmosphere of the restaurant. I recommend it to all ten 👌🏻☺️ I will definitely come back here again 👍🏻

My kids are amazed from that place. They are still asking me to go there. From my end the place is nice, I ordered a steak which was prepared exactly how I imagined. As the dessert we had me unknown Elephant tears cake which was delicious. I highly recommend to visit this place :)

There is no normal black tea, only flavored low-quality tea herb. The pungent smell of frying oil prevented us from ordering food.

Excellent food in a beautiful ambience. The salad was crisp, fresh and lovingly prepared. The risotto with the mushrooms tastes like a dream. The service was very attentive and friendly. We will definitely come back and look forward to the warmer season so we can enjoy the view from the great terrace.

Salmon with cream noodles and broccoli. Unfortunately, the broccoli was just decoration and cold. Which unfortunately isn't possible for me as a mother when the service staff tells me that SHE can't stand children at all. For me it's an absolute no-go for a "child-friendly restaurant". Therefore 1 star for this inappropriate statement.

Nice restaurant in a quiet location. You immediately feel welcome and are warmly greeted. The playground is large, ideal for children of all ages. Dogs are also welcome. The food is fresh and there is a smaller portion of almost everything. The new leadership is doing excellently.

Very nice garden restaurant, friendly staff. We have been coming here to eat for years and have always been satisfied. This evening we invited friends over and raved to them about Schwendi. The disappointment was even greater when our food arrived… We had fitness plates. Dear Swedish team, Fitness Platter is the main course, not a starter! The price shows it too. I would have some understanding for the fact that the steak was only 150 g, but with so little salad on the plate is an absolute NO-GO. But the quality was good. Our friends were in Schwendi for the first and last time, we would like to give you a second chance.

Beautiful restaurant with a great playground. The new tenants and the team are very friendly and motivated. Very good food, beautifully prepared. Very tasty salad dressing, and the many ice cream balls and homemade desserts are very appealing! You can put together the coups yourself as you wish and without any surcharge. Overall a very nice stay. We will be back.

Today we walked to Schwendi with our granddaughter. She quickly went to the playground, on the slide, on the swing, on the bridge probably 4 times. It was great for her, but unfortunately we weren't served and then left without anything to drink. It's a shame because the serving daughters saw us 100% safely.

On Saturday we had our wedding aperitif in Schwendi with the new tenant couple, which started at the beginning of June 2022. Everything worked out wonderfully! Very friendly service and delicious aperitif, which was always freshly served. There was always a contact person on site to serve the guests. We also received positive feedback about Schwendi and the staff from the 45 guests! Good luck to the new tenant couple - we'll be happy to come back!

There has been a new tenant at Schwendi since June 1st. Very nice staff. Unfortunately still a little understaffed. But they try very hard. The food was very tasty. But I find the prices a bit expensive. That's why only 4 stars. Nice restaurant and super nice garden terrace.

Very nice restaurant with a cozy garden. However, we probably won't be coming back anytime soon... too much went wrong during our visit yesterday. :-( On the one hand, endless waiting times and then a drastically slimmed down menu with only 4 menus with meat (due to a lack of staff). Since we came from further afield, it would have been desirable to point this out to us when making the reservation... Another long one after ordering the food Waiting time because the chef apparently overlooked our receipt... When the food finally came, one person had completely the wrong thing on their plate and the waitress no longer knew which entercote had which cooking point. The meat wasn't as tender as you would normally expect and the vegetables were practically raw... We were kindly treated to coffee and dessert, but that didn't make things any better.

Very good food. Friendly service. Due to staff shortages, unfortunately there are currently only 5 meat menus on the menu. However, an alternative was immediately found for me as a vegetarian. (If we had known about the 5 menu when making the reservation, we wouldn't have gone). Days before, we had already rushed over for dessert because the two really great service staff were busy and there was a "fully booked" sign in front of the entrance despite the empty tables. No service employee stays long. It's a shame, because it's a nice inn with a great playground.

We were pleased with the very beautiful look of the house and garden. Unfortunately, the service was very unfriendly and gave us the impression that we were happy to receive something. It would also be good if the host at least said hello and didn't just stand next to our table without saying a word. We ordered and received a Coup Romanoff, unfortunately the price-performance ratio is unrelated. It's a shame about Schwendi, which was a very good restaurant for a long time.

👎👎👎👎👎of stars Terrace occupied by around 20 people and 2-3 service staff. Waiting to order the drinks, waiting about half an hour to order ice cream. OK, delivery OK. I was told to pay twice‼️‼️ Service staff walked past you twice and asked you to pay (the money was low). 2x I'm coming😨😨😨😨 In the Weiderm there was a table with 6-8 people, ordered together‼️‼️ 1-2 cups came and when the LAST person got the one ball, he was already finished (the order was 2-3 cups and about 4 individual ball glasses. There will be no recommendation from our side😧😧😧😧

The restaurant really has a very nice look, but I have to say that another visit is no longer an option for me. The waiting times were absolute horror, the food was too salty and the vegetables were also strange. The waitress never asked how the food was or asked if you wanted anything else, according to the motto if you want something you have to come to me. We had waited almost an hour for the Coup Denmark, which then gave us the rest, so we left again after 3.5 hours with a not so positive attitude towards this restaurant.

The stroganof menu was not for eating. Knöpfli were dry and hard, after reheating the meat was good but the sauce was separated and too salty. It's a shame, but after intervention we didn't have to pay anything for this menu. Long waiting times!

The food was very tasty and even though there were 16 of us and many different dishes were ordered, the food was delivered to everyone at the same time. The range of ice creams is great.
