The food is okay, overpriced, but still understandable given the current inflation. The service, however, still leaves a lot to be desired. Some of the staff are unfriendly and show no consideration for the students. When buying a kebab box, an additional plate to eat the contents in this way is asking too much. It would be understandable if you didn't buy anything and just helped yourself, but that wasn't the case. If you share a menu that you paid for, you will be confronted and told that this is not possible. In a restaurant or other place that serves food, something like this wouldn't happen if you saw people sharing their food. The staff stare at the students while they eat, which makes you feel uncomfortable. It is legitimate for them to make sure nothing inappropriate is happening, but there is often intense staring and exchanges between employees, which gives the impression that we are obviously being gossiped about. If you use a simple knife, which is provided at the entrance to the cafeteria, to cut open an apple, you are told that you are not allowed to do that, and this happens especially in the cafeteria without the dishes being used outside. We are banned from using any dishes such as drinking glasses or forks, which is quite borderline when you take into account the fact that half of the students take their own food with them and only want to stay in the cafeteria. Since lunch is our only long break during the day, it really wouldn't be too much to ask to be welcomed into a good atmosphere. All in all it is not recommended.

We were deeply shocked during our visit to the cafeteria today! Since cutlery is now only handed out at the checkout, we were ALMOST DENIED two forks when sharing a portion of fries! Our request was incomprehensible to the cashier; “You can also eat the fries with your hand.” This was just one of the incidents where the staff didn't respond particularly friendly to us. We are very disappointed!

Here you are being ripped off as a student. I don't think it's fair.
