Seelust in Egnach

On the recommendation of friends, we wanted to try out Seelust. We were really excited because everything went really well. From the room, to the food and above all the friendliness of the whole team. The price/performance ratio for booking the overnight package is unbeatable. We will definitely stop by Seelust again.

A very nice restaurant a stone's throw from Lake Constance. Worth a visit in summer and winter, plenty of parking spaces available. The restaurant is modern, romantic and in a beautiful place. Even with a lot of guests you can have a good conversation and it's never too loud. The service was great, very courteous and friendly, and we also received very good service from many guests. The food came quickly and was of great, regional quality. Therefore this restaurant is highly recommended! Thank you for the great experience.

Christine, Thomas, Matthias and their partners are now the 4th generation working in the company. The uniquely beautiful location on Lake Constance is complemented by the idyllic, rural area of ​​Oberthurgau. Price-performance: Fair, the lunch menus start at 18.- for a meat menu you can see here in the article the beef ragout for 30.- incl. Soup or salad.

We had a very good lunch with our daughter and grandson. Everyone was very enthusiastic.

We often go there with the family and the food is always excellent and very child friendly.

I was there for lunch. The ambience is simple but elegant, good for private conversations, and the service from the front door to the moment you leave was excellent. The meal, in my case a beef fillet with spinach ravioli and vegetables, was perfect. A culinary delight. A banana split for dessert was also super delicious. I can only recommend this Seelust for solid food!

A young lady named Lisa was very helpful in service 😊 the food was also very good as was the location of the hotel!

Although the food did not meet my expectations, I would particularly like to highlight the excellent quality of service from Lisa. Lisa was extremely professional and attentive during my visit. Her friendly demeanor and her attention to the guests' needs had a positive influence on my experience at the Landgasthof Seelust. Despite the culinary challenges I personally experienced, Lisa's service ensured that my visit was still pleasant. It is remarkable how Lisa, with a smile on her face and a professional approach to the guests, helped to alleviate my disappointment with the food. Their commitment and positive attitude deserve recognition. Although the food wasn't to my taste, Lisa Ambord's quality of service could definitely be a reason to give the Landgasthof Seelust a second chance. It would be desirable if the culinary aspects of the restaurant could be improved in the future with the same dedication that Lisa puts into her service. Overall, I recommend Lisa Ambord for her excellent customer service and hope that Landgasthof Seelust continues to work to optimize all facets of the dining experience.

The food was fantastic (celery soup/chateaubriand/chestnut parfait), which was only exceeded by the service. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, we felt very comfortable. Last Saturday we were guests at a wedding (Family Weibl) in the Seelust Restaurant. The location, parking conditions, the ambience and the set tables were simply great! Our insider tip. Repeatedly since 2014. Great family business. All rooms are now new. Breakfast, dinner absolutely brilliant. Nothing fancy. Very fair prices for years. We always come back to this wonderful oasis on Lake Constance.

Wir durften das WoMo-Dinner dieses Wochenende geniessen. Es war sehr gut organisiert. Wir konnten es richtig geniessen und bedanken uns bei allen die dies möglich gemacht haben. Es ist nur empfehlenswert.

Haben zum ersten Mal ein Womodinner in diesem Lokal genossen. Alles war sehr gut und die Bedienung aufmerksam und freundlich. Wir können dies nur empfehlen und hoffen, dass dies auch nach Corona noch möglich sein wird.

Trotz Schliessung um 19.00 war ein ein wunderbarer Anlass!Das renovierte Restaurant war sehr stilvoll - durch die grossen Fenster lag der Blick offen für die verträumte Weihnachtsdekoration.Im Speisesaal wurde sehr auf Abstand geachtet - die Massnahmen BVG wurden in jedem Fall eingehalten.Der Service war freundlich und aufmerksam.Das Essen einmal mehr eine grosse Verwöhnung des Gaumens.Hier zu speisen ist immer richtig.
