Seerose in Moosseedorf

Very nice restaurant in a top location at the foot of the beautiful Moossee. Modern, large, clear rooms. Great terrace with fluffy, cozy spots in the shade under the trees. Playground is also available. The latte macchiato was fine. The service was also great. There are enough parking spaces available. On weekends and especially in the evening, I would recommend reserving a table in advance. Great.😊🍀

Ordered entrecote with vegetables and fries from the daily menu. I have to say what I experienced there was worth the money in every respect. The menu cost 19.50 because it was on the daily menu. Normal price 34.- The meat I was served was absolutely perfect in quality and preparation. I've never been served anything like this before. The vegetables were perfectly cooked and very well seasoned. The fries rounded everything off to the perfect top level meal. The service was very friendly, discreet and absolutely professional. I will gladly come again. Top. Compliments from the great crew, keep it up.

Cute place but catastrophically bad service - actually I would call it hateful. We waited an hour for service that never came and when I asked at the register I was shooed back to my table and was told to be patient… completely unacceptable. Food is of course over priced and under quality - but that’s not a surprise is it?

The location right on the Moossee is very nice. The food was very good, the service was very attentive -> we would like to come back!

We ate very well and the portions were very large. The location is beautiful, would love to come back. Cream schnitzel with noodles and stroganoff with fries are half portions.

Beautiful location by the lake! The disappointment: We had a table against the wall that had a lot of spiders on it. So we had to focus on making sure that none fell on the table. It took more than an hour for us to have the food we ordered. My Züri-gschnetzlets arrived in a plate consisting of mushrooms, sauce and a little dry meat. The plates were cold and the food was lukewarm. My side dish was a small separate plate full of spaetzli (which were never refilled for me). So I had half a soup in front of me for 45.-!!! Far too expensive, unfortunately no longer recommended :/

It's a shame - reserved, arrived on time and then we were looked after in the far corner of the terrace. After 30 minutes without service, we left the restaurant without eating - we weren't served. We were there twice; the first and the last time.

Incredibly beautiful place right on Moossee.

Large terrace with a view of the lake and a huge oak tree. The staff and innkeepers are attentive and friendly. The pizzas are baked in a wood-fired oven.

Ideal place to enjoy a beer or other refreshment while taking a walk under large shady trees at Moossee. The food is also fine and tasty prepared 😋

The Seerose restaurant is beautifully located on the Moossee. The staff is friendly. Highly recommended.

The restaurant is right beside a small lake. Access to that part of shore is private and seems not accessible. The outside sitting area is simple but sufficient. Could be decorated a bit more in my opinion. There is a tiny playground with a seesaw and another thing I don't know what it's called. 😅 We only had dessert. Some ice cream. Was ok. There was a lot of space for parking which was cool.

Nice to sit outside, either on the terrace or directly in the garden with a view of the lake. Super tasty pizzas and the price is right (cheap for Switzerland).

I visited the water lily this morning and didn't know that the classic car meeting was taking place there. The service people were under enormous pressure and did their best. The restaurant management should have hired additional staff to provide the tables. That's not how you treat staff. Hope there's an extra need for people because you're doing a very good deal today. Then I left and didn't eat anything.

Very nice place, food was delicious and prepared with love. Prices are OK too. Free parking spaces are available.

To start with the positive; the service was friendly and the location by the lake is great. The food, however, was subpar. The char fillet was baked dead and the salad was carelessly thrown onto the plate. For over Fr. 30.00 an impertinence! We won't be going there any time soon. A pity!

This was our second time here and we ate well both times. The service was friendly and served us well.

The restaurant is located directly on the lake, which is why we usually make a reservation outside when the weather is nice.

The location is of course the highlight of this location. Wonderfully suitable for children as well as the whole family. Plenty of parking spaces and all of this right on Moossee. The food is good to very good. Unfortunately, my hot sauce was forgotten upon request. Speaking of hot sauce... It would be good if you provide an extremely hot sauce for Schaefesser. Another tip is if someone orders Cordon Bleu and fries with it. Automatically include a few sachets of mayo and ketchup.

Friendly and quick service. The food is good, the portions reasonable, the prices very reasonable. Good for a lunch with work colleagues in nice surroundings.

It's located in a cozy place, the food was also good but we had to wait 2 hours. Apparently the kitchen was overwhelmed. This wasn't very pleasant. Nevertheless, the waiter was very nice. But we still got dessert for free at the end, which was very friendly, and we also apologized for the long wait. Which was very kind of you.

Nice terrace in the green, service leaves a lot to be desired when I got there, I waited 30 minutes to order a coffee and the restaurant wasn't even well staffed. I'm not sure if I'll go there again.

Cozy restaurant right on the Moossee with a great terrace and lots of entertainment. The price/performance ratio of the food is right. It was very tasty and we will definitely come back. Large parking lot available.

Nice terrace just above the lake. First of all, very unmotivated and unfriendly service. The food wasn't bad, but it wasn't good enough to make a second visit worthwhile.

We reserved a table for 3 people - apparently that didn't work out. The lady then prepared a table "ad hoc" quickly and in a very unfriendly manner - a somewhat bad start. The food was really delicious!

Terrace easy to reach for wheelchair users, entrance to the restaurant has to be climbed over a small step, but it is doable and staff immediately offered to help, door for the disabled - toilet could not be locked, wheelchair parking space was not marked, or I did not see one. Service quick and attentive

We've had a drink at the Seerose a few times. Unfortunately, the last two times we were barely noticed by the waiters. We had to call for him to come at all, when we ordered a 2nd and 3rd round he looked very annoyed and we seemed to be unwanted! The last time, both waiters walked past us several times, when we asked for the dessert menu, he was annoyed and brought one tattered one that fell apart and half of the other one was missing. Since we felt very unwanted this time too, we left! The location and the terrace by the lake, however, are beautiful. Training in friendliness and customer satisfaction would be good for the service staff.

Unfortunately it's not what it used to be, the terrace was very unkempt, coffee was left without anything, the dessert was carelessly served with spray cream from a can that had already collapsed. The service was friendly, the view of the lake is beautiful

The place is beautiful. Located directly on Moossee. I had reserved a table for two people in advance. With the desire to have a view of the lake. This was assured to me verbally over the phone. Unfortunately, when we arrived on time, there were no tables available. The reason: unfortunately there are still people at the tables from the afternoon and you can't just throw them out. We got a table in the garden. The waitress was so busy that we had to order water several times before it was served. The starter came wrong. Had ordered something else. However, since the waiter was stressed anyway, we ate what we were given. The food is delicious. The service was nice. The organization is terrible.

The food was very tasty and the ambience outside was very idyllic. Unfortunately, the waiter often rushed past us without noticing us. The question about dessert fell by the wayside, which we found very unfortunate. We had no success with waving and making ourselves noticed.

Waited 1 hour for food...no request for drinks reorder. We were 9 people We wanted to pay the bill separately...the waiter rolled his eyes in annoyance... I think professional service looks different... Otherwise the food was good.

Great restaurant at Moossee. In summer you can sit comfortably outside on the large lawn terrace. Just beautiful. The service is very friendly and attentive. We had salad, fish, meat and dessert and everything was delicious. Requests such as other side dishes are also no problem. And if you would like to take a little walk, I recommend that you park your car at the lido, walk half the circuit around the lake, eat here and then walk the other half of the circuit back. Oh yes and the golf course would also be nearby. Also an interesting place to watch and wander through. Public transport to Moosseedorf or Münchenbuchsee and then on foot approx. 20 - 40 minutes.

The first bad impression of 2020 was compensated for during the last visit. The waiter was super friendly and competent. Not like the lady who in 2020 couldn't even tell which allergens were contained in the homemade salad dressing. I'm looking forward to the next stone oven pizza. See you soon
