Sensebeach in Ueberstorf

Cozy, a nice place to linger under the old trees. A trip there is worth it for the whole family to eat, simple cuisine, good portions. I'd love to go there.

Is a recommendation but it's better to reserve.

I was in the Sensemare. It was friendly, the fries tasted good but everything was a bit run down. But the location is very nice and people enjoyed it.

The Sensebach restaurant in Thörishaus is located directly on the water of the Sense, in a wonderful natural area. There is always enough parking space on the street, especially during the week. But on the weekend when the weather is nice it can be extremely difficult to find one.😊 The meal, a pizta, was very tasty, just according to our taste. The service was also good. Great.😊🍀

Unbelievable that something like this still exists! Smoking is allowed at every table on the terrace. With small children you are forced to move to the unserviced tables opposite. Cashless payment is only possible from 20 CHF. Service is disdainful and unreasonable. Only recommended for nicotine addicts!

Unfortunately we weren't satisfied at all. The fries were bland and soggy and soaked in grease. The portions were far too big for the children. In general the restaurant was very unhygienic. Never again !

The waitress was extremely unfriendly to the kids when they went inside and asked about the fries they were waiting for for 30min. Her attitude was unacceptable, especially towards kids. Appart from that, the food is extremely expensive and disgustingly bad.

You cannot pay with a credit card (only from CHF 20.00). Very bad in this day and age and unacceptable. In addition, the service is very unfriendly. Will never go there again

What a pity. After some time abroad, I'm visiting my homeland. On an evening walk along the Sense, we ended up at Sensebeach. We wanted to buy an ice cream, but didn't have any Swiss francs with us. Unfortunately, card payment was not possible. We then wanted to pay 15 euros for the 3 ice creams - 9 CHF. We were rudely rejected. I have traveled the world and nowhere have I been "served" so unfriendly and without tolerance. It's a shame - but luckily we have the choice - and there are many other nice restaurants.

EXTREMELY UNHYGIENIC! You get glasses that are still dirty. Gotta go to the kitchen... yuck! That they can still have a restaurant. Glasses washed by hand. Never again

Take a walk along the Sense, a good place for a beer or a pizza in the beer garden. Prices and quality are quite okay.
